K as leaves tonight for a long string of away games, and I can't say I'm not bummed. I know I'll miss him, but I think the time apart could be good for us. We've gotten so wrapped up in being in each other's company that it's made it difficult to separate what we are and what we wish we could be.

I unlock the door, hang my bag on the hook in the entryway, and slip out of my coat, hanging it in the hallway closet before slipping my shoes off and kicking them in too.

Kat should be home soon, so I make my way into the kitchen, open the fridge, and groan at the lack of food. We need to go grocery shopping, but she was working all weekend, and I was off having the most incredible night of my life with Kas.

When I got home yesterday afternoon, I was so sore between my legs that I didn't leave the house. I managed to change my bed linens, do the laundry, and vacuum the apartment, but not much else. When Kat got home, she was exhausted, so she took a bath, and we binge-watched trash TV with Alessandro.

I'm so glad they found each other, and I'm even more glad he loves the same TV shows that we do. It makes it so much easier to balance hanging out with him if it doesn't mean having to watch some horrible action movie.
