K as absolutely wrecked my body this weekend despite the thin walls of the De Laurentiis home. And I've never been more content.

Though I wouldn't admit that to Kas, of course. His ego is plenty big as is.

We've been texting all day as I've enjoyed relaxing on the couch, taking my extra holiday hours in stride.

What are we doing for New Year's Eve?

Nothing.

Oh stop it, NYE is your favorite holiday you asshole. Just because Kat has to work doesn't mean we can't do something.

He's not wrong. It is my favorite. I love the fireworks, the excited energy, and the feeling of newness that lights a spark under everyone to try something new. I'm not necessarily here for the "new year, new me" mentality because it's just cheesy, but I'm all about reinventing yourself in whatever capacity you choose to.

Fine. You plan it. Something with fireworks. Nothing cheesy.

And it's NOT a date Kas.
