Sal

"Men, am I, right?" Kier's voice had me looking over my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes, moving to grab my stuff.

"Are you done with training?"

My head nodded.

"Who said?"

My eyes snapped to him, lip parting. We both knew I didn't need the large amount of training he was giving me, but we both also knew how quickly this test was coming.

"Stuff down, Ashbourne," he ordered, thick arms crossing his chest.

My jaw tightened. "I'm not in the mood for your bullshit."

"So, what if your childhood crush rejected you? You have many more men to cry over like me."

I scoffed. "Crush? I don't have a crush on Cozen."

Our eyes met, and I wondered how he came to that conclusion. Sure, being so close to him made me wet, but…

Kier pressed his palms together, and I noticed the symbols on his knuckles. He dropped to one knee, magic warping the ground until a huge slab of concrete almost impaled me.

"In the house?" I hissed, narrowly dodging his alchemist attack.

He smirked. "It's my house, and it has been designed perfectly for my magic."

"So, what? You want to kill me because Cozen got you jealous?"

His eyes narrowed. "I'm not jealous."

"Could have fooled me." I felt the swirl of magic rushing through my body as I slapped my hand against the ground. Alchemy created a spear as I pulled it from the concrete ground, flipping it in my hands.

"One hand and no symbols? How—" he asked, but I threw my spear, rushing for an attack. He jumped to the side, escaping my spear and blocking the kick that I followed with. I twisted fully, kicking him again.

Kier was just as skilled, able to escape my attacks and give his own. His knuckles grazed my cheek as I pushed on his elbow. His arm buckled, and I kicked for his face. His free hand grabbed my foot and pulled me against his body, foot still in the air.

"Are you flexible?" He cocked a brow, smirk on his lips.

"I don't know. Ask Cozen," I teased.

His jaw tightened, and I could just taste the jealousy. I don't know what is more satisfying: Kier was unable to get what he wants or that I know he watched Cozen press his body into mine this morning.

I lifted my other leg around his head, swinging my body downwards until he hit the mat with a thud. I tried to scramble to my feet, but he grabbed my thigh pulling me against him. His body covered mine, hands pushing my wrists into the mat.

"Fast little Ashbourne girl," Kier muttered, dark eyes wondering my body.

I wished I felt disgusted. I wished my body didn't grow warm as his was so close to mine. My eyes dropped to his lips, and he paused, eyes watching mine.

"Are you going to take what you want or are you going to continuously be jealous? You know how many men want me?"

He growled, chest rumbling against mine. My nipples budded as I arched more into him. I lifted myself a bit, almost pressing my lips against his.

"Take it," I encouraged.

His lips slammed into mine at the confirmation. His taste of black coffee invaded my mouth, and though I didn't like the taste of coffee, I liked his taste. The moment his hands let my wrist go, I grabbed his shoulder and pulled him into me.

Heat rushed between us as our lips devoured each other. His hand grabbed my waist, pulling me against his growing dick. A moan escaped me as my finger entangled into his thick ponytail. My nails grazed the hair tie, and I pulled it out, letting his hair fall between us like a curtain.

In a flash, I pressed my palm against his chest and pushed him onto the mat, straddling him. Our lips never pulled back once. Slowly our tongues fought as his hips pushed against me. He was large and hard, and I wanted him.

But he was a dick and deserved to get blue balls.

My hands grabbed his hands, pulling his heavy arms over his hand and pinning them there.

A groan escaped him, and I swallowed it. Magic rushed through me, and concrete rumbled as both his hands were wrapped in it.

Kier pulled back, startled. He tried to pull on his wrist but quickly realized that he was stuck to the ground with concrete cuffs.

"Ashbourne," he growled.

I rolled my core right against his hard dick, earning a shutter from him. "You think I'd give in that easily? You're a gigantic dick head who is jealous over a girl who doesn't want him."

He pulled on the concrete, but he didn't budge. "Sal."

I stood, looking down at him. His jet hair was wild, and I craved to touch the softness again. His dick was hard, tip almost peeking through his gray sweats.

"Psalm."

"Have a good day, daddy Kier," I teased, hips swaying as I left him screaming on the ground. His alchemy didn't allow him to use it without two hands, so he was stuck for a bit.

I moved into the kitchen, unable to hear him scream.

"Good morning," Abel said to me, hand reaching for my hip. "What has you in all smiles?"

I didn't bother sharing my secret as I slanted my mouth over his. My body was on fire in need of some release. After Cozen rejected me and Kier and I dry humped, I was in serious need of getting dicked down.

"Where's my brother?" Osiris asked, settling on a chair next to Briar.

Briar barely looked up from his computer, but when he did, a small smirk played on the corner of his lips. Beck must of noticed because his eyes darted back and forth between us.

"Where's Kier?" Osiris asked again, eyes locked on me.

"Oh, he's a bit tied up. Busy in the gym," I explained.

His dark brows pulled as he looked down at me.

Abel's hand grabbed my hips and pulled me into his lap. I let him, slanting my arms around his wide shoulders.

"Are you hungry?" I questioned him, noting his lust-filled gaze.

"Very," he muttered, eyes racking over my body.

"I can cook breakfast." I stood from his lap, just to get pulled back.

"Or… I could eat you for breakfast."

Beck scoffed. "I'd like some food, Abel!"

"Oh, you don't want me?" I fired back.

He chuckled. "Trust me, I do, but I'm craving bacon, and we both know men are too stupid to cook it as perfectly as you do."

I rolled my eyes, standing from Abel's lap. "I'll cook if you clean up."

"Gladly," Beck agreed, and I got to work.

Osiris and Briar were talking about the explosions, reminding me of Kennedy. She was a girl that I met at the academy, and one moment she was funny, giggly, and lovely, the next she was ignoring me and Father Nero, moving to the front gate like a zombie. She exploded like a fucking bomb, and it opened the gate, exposing the whole academy to vampires.

A lot of questions were unanswered. Who did this? How? How did the vampires get into Evercrest, a wall community since the Revelations? What do those markings mean and how do they get people to explode?

Kennedy wasn't the first one to explode. During an investigation for another human combustion, one exploded in front of Briar, burning him. It wasn't long ago, but the scarring has healed.

"What happened to you?" Osiris's voice made me snap to reality.

I glanced over to see Kier covered in dust and debris and holding the concrete cuffs that I had made to hold him down.

Kier growled to me, and just as he was about to get to me, I held out a plate of food. His dark eyes dropped, taking the delicious French toast I made.

"Truce?" I bargained.

He sighed, taking the plate. "You're lucky I love French toast."

I waved him away as I got the rest of their plates and served them. Finally, I sat with my men, enjoying all the praise they gave for my food.

"Guess we can keep her around," Briar said, munching on bacon.

I rolled my eyes at him as if he didn't fill me with his cum this morning.

"So, you're not as useless as I thought," Osiris muttered.

I kicked him, earning a smirk from him. There was tension between us and I felt it when our eyes met. Lust and desire filled his eyes, for me or my food? I smiled behind the orange juice glass as Cozen finally graced us with his presence. He was in PJs with a tank top exposing his heavily tattooed arms.

"There's French toast and bacon in the microwave," I told him, trying so far not to look at him.

Was Kier, right? I had a crush? On Cozen? Never.

"Thanks, P," he grabbed the food, making my body melt a bit.

"When are you leaving?" Kier asked as Cozen poured some juice.

"Kier," I snapped.

He ignored me.

"Tonight," Cozen answered, making me look at him while he left the room. I knew he desperately wanted to get away from me, but he was the last of my family. And yet, he wanted to get away from me so quickly. This was probably for the best. I didn't want or need him getting hurt because of me.

"Is something wrong between you guys?" Abel asked, eyes bouncing between me and Kier.

"No," I shrugged.

"Psalm keeps coming onto men today," Kier explained at the same time, earning my glares.

"I do not! You came onto me. Can't even keep it in your pants, teacher."

He scoffed. "Says the girl who fucked two of her teachers!"

"Two?" Abel asked, brows pulling. "Who?"

I shook my head, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Kier is just starting shit."

"So, you didn't fuck Briar today?" Kier raised a brow.

"I did," I leaned forward to him. "Are you still jealous, Kier? Are you mad it wasn't you?"

He grumbled something, grabbing his juice and concrete rocks and leaving to go to do whatever he wanted.

I shook my head, finishing my juice.

"Back on topic," Osiris muttered, looking down at Briar's computer. "Kennedy left the academy, and when she came back, she was a bomb for the vampires. What happened over the weekend?"

My mood dipped as I stood and listened to them. I remember leaving Kennedy that day, and she asked me if I needed a ride.

I didn't want one.

Then she asked if I wanted to go out for drinks.

"Kennedy," I started, cutting someone off from speaking. I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying. "She invited me to get drinks with her and her friends."

"Which friends?" Osiris asked.

I shook my head. "I don't know them. But that's all I know, and I doubt she would turn into that from going to a bar, right?"

He shrugged. "I'm going into the headquarters to do a bit of work. Briar?"

Briar sighed, running his fingers through his short hair. "Yeah, whatever. I'll join." Both men stood, moving to get changed. I watched them, wondering if the bar had anything to do with the runes, but I didn't know what bar they were going to go to or whatever. I was left with just as many questions as I started with.

Beck started doing the dishes while Abel cleaned up the table. When Osiris and Briar came back down the stairs, I almost drooled. They were in their tactical bishop uniform. It looked like a nun uniform, a long skirt with a white collar. But they had pants on under their skirt and warmers on their arms, not connected to their top.

I had never been religious despite going to a priest academy. This was the first time I wouldn't have minded getting on my knees in front of two priests.
