19. Nash

CHAPTER 19

NASH

I found Spencer in the hotel bar after Jorge, my friend with whom I'd worked catered gigs several times, offered to take over closing the bar to get the bonus from Naomi. I wasn't about to fight him over it. I desperately wanted to get to Spencer.

"You ready?" I found Spencer in a booth in the back after I checked with the bartender. I offered to pay the tab, but the guy said Sean had covered it. Spence sat at a table alone, nursing a beer that felt warm to the touch. He looked up at me when I sat down across from him, and he seemed dazed for a second before the fog cleared. "You're finished? You're done for the night?"

I nodded.

Spence chuckled. "Let's go up. I'm just getting started with you." I seconded that notion.

We left the bar, Spence grabbing two beers for us before we got onto the elevator. Once we got into the room, the two pilsners were long forgotten. I kissed and sucked every inch of his body, and when I had edged the two of us to the point we were about to lose it, I slid on a condom and gently pushed my way into his gorgeous ass after rolling him onto his side.

"You okay?" I'd never do anything to hurt him. I was sure he felt the same about me. The look in his eyes as I pistoned in and out of his hole was beautiful.

It was like a fucking dream come true for me. I was home… Spencer Brady had become my home.

"I'm gonna come," Spence gasped.

"I'm right there with you." I reached down and jacked his shaft twice before the warm cum covered my hand. It wasn't a violent coupling, but it did the job for both of us. For a first time, it wasn't my best work, but I'd been nervous. It was a line I thought I wouldn't cross, but looking into Spencer's eyes, how could I not?

I flopped onto my back, having drained myself inside the condom as I tried to catch my breath. His grip on my length was firm, and the condom was thin, so it was almost like there wasn't anything between us. That was a step I hoped we got to because I'd never gone bareback.

"Son of a… I think I'm stupefied." Spence tried to catch his breath as well. He was on his side, and his left leg was crooked up to give me access to him from behind, which had been incredible.

I hopped up from the bed and went into the luxurious bathroom to toss the condom, turning on the water in the huge tub. I knew it had been a while since he'd bottomed, and a hot bath might help loosen up his muscles so he wouldn't be so sore the next… later that morning.

I walked back into the bedroom and sat down on the bed next to Spencer, taking his hand in mine before I kissed his soft lips. "You okay? How about a soak?"

Spencer smirked at me, "Wait till it's my turn, baby. I'll take care of you, I swear." Oh, I couldn't wait for that thick cock.

"Yeah, yeah, let's get you comfortable." I pulled him from the bed and led him into the bathroom where the huge tub was filling.

I helped him into the hot water and took a seat behind him, pulling the sexy man to sit in front of me. I squirted some body wash under the faucet and watched as the tub filled with bubbles.

Spence chuckled before settling back and relaxing against my chest. I caressed his pecs, pinching his nipples as the tub filled before I turned off the water. "Did you see Senator Turner with his date?" I gently caressed Spence's chest, feeling him relax into me.

"Uh, yeah! I think everyone in that room saw him making a total fool of himself. Lucky for her, she won't have to fuck him because as drunk as he was, he'd never get it up." Spencer's deep chuckle reverberated through his body into mine.

"I hope she asked for the money up front." I gently massaged Spence's neck and shoulders. His body tensed when I joked about the money, and I knew we had to discuss my past, though I had hoped we could skip that part.

Spence seemed to be unsure of what to say, so I took the plunge. "Ask. I know what you're thinking, so just ask."

"Do you, uh, do you miss it?"

"Fucking for money? Hell no. Just to clear the air, I didn't do it very often, and I always wore a condom. I didn't let anyone fuck me. Too intimate." It was the god's honest truth, and when I felt Spencer trying to sit up, I released him and watched as he turned to study me.

Spencer rested against the other end of the huge tub, contemplating what I'd said. Finally, he reached out and touched my hand where it was resting on the side of the tub. "I don't mind bottoming…"

I squeezed his hand and slid closer to him, turning around and leaning against him. I looked over my shoulder to see the worry on his handsome face. "For you, I'll bottom all the time, Spencer. I like the idea we're both vers, and I think we're very compatible in bed. There's nothing to worry about. I've been getting tested every three months, and all my tests come back negative for STI's or HIV. I'd never put you in danger," I answered honestly.

Spencer leaned forward and kissed my lips before resting his hands on my shoulders. "Was it hard to do?"

I glanced at him for clarification. "Sleeping with people for money?"

"Yeah. I mean, we don't have to talk about this if you'd rather not."

I offered a humorless laugh. "When I was younger, I slept with people for a lot less, but at times, it wasn't easy. Like, when I was with some of the older women, they wanted to pretend it was romantic because that's what they'd missed in their lives, and I played along. I felt awful for them that they had to resort to paying for a companion, but loneliness is like poison—it'll devour you and kill you before you know what's going on. You'll take any antidote you can find to keep it at bay. I guess, I was the antidote sometimes."

Spencer nodded and kissed the back of my head, showing me love I'd craved my whole life. I'd had people who'd cared for me—my friend, Clinton Barr, came to mind.

Clint and I had become best friends because we didn't have anyone else to give a damn about us. I'd later come to learn it wasn't a weakness to want someone in my life—it was an instinct. People weren't meant to be alone.

Spencer asked a couple more questions, but when we got out of the tub, I felt he was satisfied with the answers I'd given him. We got into the large bed, and I was prepared to give myself to him, but before I could suggest it, he was asleep, wrapped around me. I must have followed him not too long later, and I slept like the dead.

We arrived at the house in Great Falls on Wednesday morning, having enjoyed a late room service breakfast and mutual blow jobs before checking out of the fancy hotel. I'd been paid cash for bartending the previous night, so I paid for our taxi against Spencer's wishes, but I was no freeloader. I always paid my own way.

Spencer let us in through the front door, immediately bellowing, "Vani!" I couldn't hold the laugh. He was a creature of habit.

"Hang on!" she called back from somewhere upstairs. Spence took my duffel and placed it at the bottom of the stairs, along with his own bag, and I followed him into the kitchen. He walked over to the one-cup coffee maker, flipping it on.

"I'm gonna have some coffee. You want a cup?" Spence went to the fridge and grabbed the creamer I loved.

"Sure. I'll make them. Why don't you go look for Vani?" I went to the sink to wash my hands. Spence kissed my lips as we passed by each other, and it made my heart skip a beat. It was like we'd been doing it for years.

It seemed so easy, being with Spencer. How had that happened to me ?

I made myself a cup of coffee and set up the machine for Spencer's cup as I heard footsteps on the stairs outside the kitchen. "…and I'm fine in the spare room. If you and Nash aren't ready to share yet, one of you can sleep in Jay's room."

I looked up to see Vani was dressed in a woman's suit, navy with a cream-colored blouse. "I was bored, okay? I didn't want to go do anything last night, so I switched the rooms. It's no big deal, Spencer, and it motivated me to pack some of my stuff. Look, I'm going to New York for an overnight. I need to meet with my new boss, and I want to find an apartment."

I studied Spencer, quickly judging he didn't like what he was hearing. I walked to the counter and started the cup of coffee for him, staying out of it as best I could.

"I said I'd go with you!" Spencer's tone was more aggressive than I believed necessary. I could see immediately it didn't set well with Vani.

She walked to where I was pretending to ignore them, touching my shoulder. "Hi, Nash. You're rational, so I'll talk to you. I have a car coming to get me in an hour to take me to Dulles where I'll be taking a shuttle flight up to JFK, and I'll be spending the night at The Roosevelt in Midtown. I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. I've moved Spencer's things into the master, and I've unpacked your things in there as well. I've taken his old room for now, and that way, Jay can have his room when he gets home for the holiday break. If you two aren't at the place to share yet, Spence can take the pullout in the den.

"I'll leave you to explain it to the pigheaded one after I leave. Did you have… of course, you did. You look very relaxed." Vani winked before she stood on her toes and kissed my cheek.

She moved to Spencer and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down to look into her eyes. "It's time, sweetheart. We both need to live our own lives, Spencer. I'll be back tomorrow evening, and we can talk then."

Vanessa faced the two of us and smiled, her eyes misting. "This is exactly what I hoped would happen. I couldn't have planned this better myself." Her phone chimed, breaking the silence.

"Ah, my driver is on the way. Spencer, start accepting this is the right step for us. Call me if you need me, boys. Love you both." She ran upstairs, returning quickly with a small suitcase in her hand and a tote bag on her shoulder.

"I could have taken you to the airport." Once the words left my mouth, I realized how ridiculous that was since I didn't have a car.

Vani stopped and snapped her fingers. She reached into her tote and grabbed something before she turned to look at Spencer with a smile. "Let Nash use my car while I'm gone and think about what we should do with it. I'm not taking it to New York." She kissed his cheek again and headed to the front door just as there was a buzzing sound by the intercom. Spencer walked over to it and looked at the small screen before pressing a button on the unit.

With a quick wave of her hand, Vani was out the front door—the human dynamo on a mission—leaving the two of us in stunned silence. I stayed where I was and watched Spencer for any reaction. When he sat down at the table, I picked up my cup and took a sip of the warm liquid as I leaned against the counter, waiting for him to react.

"I guess she's ready, then." I couldn't tell if he was saying it to me or himself. Finally, he reached for his coffee, motioning for me to sit at the table next to him. Once I sat down, he took my hand, seeming to settle into his new reality. I was still fucking stunned.

"Do, uh, do you wanna talk about it?" I wasn't sure what I would have to offer by way of comfort. I'd never been in his position, so I couldn't commiserate, but I really wanted to try.

Spencer put his cup on the table and pulled my hand to his lips, kissing my knuckles before holding it in both of his. "Not much to talk about. We always knew this day would come. I'm just glad I have you to get me through it. She knew you were perfect for me, and that pisses me off a little. She's something else."

He shook his head and laughed. I joined him, not sure why we were laughing, but it seemed to act as a pressure valve for both of us, and I was glad. Where we'd end up wasn't known, but I was damn sure we'd get there together. That was my hope.
