And maybe they are right and I should be grateful, but I can't quite let go of the feeling that something is missing…something important.

On my 25th birthday, my dragon emerges for the first time, and everything changes. He senses my brothers and demands we find them. My bevy's reaction to my scales and wings makes the decision easy.
