I chuckled and glanced at Tyros, who seemed uplifted by the Omega's cheerful curiosity. They said that an Omega brought peace to both people and the land they inhabited, and it appeared to be true.

"Do you consume snakes?" she suddenly turned to me and asked.

"Some," I replied, and she shuddered, eliciting a smile from me.

"What else?"

"There are many creatures in these lands. They often emerge at night when the sun's warmth has faded."

"So you hunt during the night?" she inquired.

"Mostly from evening into the night."

"What do you do during the day?"

"I ensure the safety of our people, work on the tents, construct whatever we need, and fashion weapons. There are myriad tasks to keep us occupied."

"Do you sleep?" she probed, prompting another chuckle from me.

"We take turns hunting. With all the clans now gathered, we have even more hands."

"And more mouths to feed," she astutely observed, displaying her quick intellect.

"Correct."

"What's the most common food source here?" she asked, her gaze never fixed on me, but rather on the world around her.

"Boars."

"They inhabit this place?" she inquired, her surprise evident.

"They dwell in the caves, feasting on creatures that venture out from the sands at night. Haven't you studied these things?" I teased her gently.

"Our library was not extensive, and it mostly covered the Rocky Island. I have some knowledge of Mainlands' history, Omega history, and my own family's history, but there are many topics I couldn't explore. Plus, we were rarely allowed to leave the castle, especially not me."

I knew precisely how to delight my Omega. I needed to provide her with her own private library, where she could immerse herself in knowledge. I couldn't wait to have her back in my tent, where she could create her own little haven, and I could savor her body repeatedly.

"Where do you source your water?" she inquired, noticing one of the Alphas taking a drink from a flask hanging from his hip.

"There are water holes, but we also have a source by the clans. This desert may not seem abundant, but it harbors numerous secrets," I explained.

"Not seem abundant?" she questioned in disbelief. "I've never felt a stronger desire to explore a place!"

The sight of her smiling as she surveyed her surroundings sent my long-dormant heart racing. In that moment, I realized that all I wanted was to see my Omega smile. She looked remarkably beautiful when she did.

As evening descended, we made camp once more. This time, Kiandra was more inclined to engage with the others, asking questions and learning about the army I had brought with me. She was intrigued by the fact that the army comprised Alphas from various clans, all working together under my command. However, when she attempted to sit closer to some of the others due to her excitement and curiosity, I swiftly pulled her to me, issuing a growling warning. Yet she responded with a small smile and a quick kiss, which nearly drove me to madness. I knew she did it to soothe me, but the moment her lips met mine, I was ready to claim her right there in front of the other Alphas.

However, I couldn't bear the thought of the other Alphas seeing my Omega in the nude. So I carried her back to my tent, one hand gripping her firm ass.

"We were eating!" she reminded me.

"I want to feast on something else."

My Omega responded immediately, her body aroused by the idea of her Alpha pleasuring her, and I swiftly ushered us into the tent.
