It’s nice getting to address you as you , and not as Stranger. My mind has been slowly attaching everything I know about Stranger to you instead, and it only makes me like you more. Is it strange that I want to keep writing letters to you? It’s become my favorite part of the day. I want to keep confiding in you in the same way that I have all of these weeks.

I will say, I’m a little mortified that I told you that I was reading an interspecies romance novel. This may mortify me even more when I see you in person again but… between us, it was specifically a minotaur/human romance novel. I learned some very interesting things in it about the way that minotaur men are built. Maybe we should fact-check that for accuracy soon…

I love that you want to keep writing letters. Getting to know you through the pages of this journal has been a gift I never expected. Please, keep confiding in me. I want to know every part of you, just as you're getting to know every part of me.

And as for the romance novel… I’m flattered (I hope I was the inspiration for you picking that up?), and intrigued. I have to admit, now I'm curious what the book got right... and what it might have missed. Maybe you could enlighten me? I’d love to help you fact check it, in the interest of literary integrity.
