SERENDIPITY

" W hat do you mean you lost the rings?" Bene and Bailey shouted in unison, causing Kwan to cringe. He didn't need Rain and Max to hear this. Especially not now.

"Shhhhhh." Kwan glanced around furtively, even though they were in the bedroom they all shared, his hands immediately running through his hair and causing it to stick up wildly, a telltale sign that Kwan Park was stressed.

Bailey Montgomery, the gentle one of the throuple, changed his tone and reached over to smooth down Kwan's hair. "Do you remember where you had them last? Can we retrace your steps this morning?"

Chiming in, Bene glanced at his watch. "Shit. It's two hours till the wedding of our best friends and we have no rings. This is a…" He stopped short when he saw one of his boyfriends scolding him with a look and the other with tears in his eyes.

"Okay, right. Let's remember where you last had them, Kwan. Have you checked all your suit pockets?" Benedict Ross, known by Bene by the rest of the band and fans worldwide, started frantically checking his own in case they were there.

"Of course I did. Are you fucking kidding me?" Kwan grumbled, distressed. "You don't think I looked there first? Oh my God, Bene, calm down. Last thing I need is for you to panic too."

Bene joined Bailey and Kwan on their bed and took Kwan's hand in his own.

"You know it will be okay, Kwan. Max and Rain have said they don't need rings today."

Kwan looked up, tears spilling over and running down his face, his voice quiet. "Rain trusted me, Bene. He trusted me as his best friend to keep those rings safe and I fucked up like I always do."

Bene and Bailey both tutted comforting sounds, but Kwan was desolate. He had looked everywhere before admitting he lost them to his boyfriends. He lost the rings Rain had entrusted him with and there was no time to get new ones, considering Rain had these ones specially made from green sea glass. Gah. He felt like total shit. Leave it to him to ruin the wedding of the century, as the tabloids were dubbing it.

Maxwell Graham and Rainer Jefferson were undoubtedly the unspoken leaders of their seven-member boy band, Save Me, and their romance had been years in the making. Last year, when Kwan had professed his love for both Bene and Bailey after winning a Grammy for the love song he wrote about both of them, Rain had been instrumental in getting their label, Spring Magic, to get rid of the no-dating clause. Soon after, a tabloid ran a damning article about Max's previous relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Mandy, who accused him of domestic violence. The article caused Max and Rain to go public with their own relationship and tell the truth about Mandy and Max. It had been a long two years, but not long after that article came out, Rain proposed to Max and the band finally had some much- needed happiness. Now, Kwan felt like he was going to ruin it. He had to find those rings.

One hour later

Rain stood in front of the mirror, taking one last look at himself, swiping his hand over his bald head and checking one last time that his vows he had written for Max where in his inside suit pocket. He had wanted this wedding to be something simple, but Max was insistent on giving their fans what they wanted, an extravaganza only befitting Save Me.

He sighed, thinking Max was probably right, and turned when he heard the door creak open, expecting it to be Max. It was Kwan with a sheepish look on his face. He motioned for him come in. Kwan stood just inside the door.

"Rain? Uh…where is Max?" Kwan was more quiet than normal, his eyebrows narrowed with concern.

"He's outside with Jonathan and Tomas. Why? Is everything okay? Did you not see him? Did he bail on me?" Rain's eyes grew wide and he visibly gulped.

Kwan shook his head and he stepped out to call for Max, Rain sagging in relief. Max appeared a few minutes later, looking stunning in his white tux edged with crystals, no undershirt, leaving a glimpse of his chiseled chest. A long, gorgeous train was attached to his shoulders, adorned with butterflies in differing shades of green and blue. The train itself, swept behind him in a puff, was ombre from white to the colors of the sea, accentuating his blue eyes that today bore a resemblance to the sea itself this morning. Rain couldn't help but smile at the differences between them. His tux was jet black, accented with a satin that changed from black to deep green, making his deep nutwood-colored skin stand out. He also chose not to wear an undershirt, so both of them would match in that way, but otherwise, they were total opposites and he loved it. His brand-new tattoo along his left collarbone stood out, the "Five-ever" having more meaning to him than the "Fighter" on his rib cage.

Max beamed at him as he ran his eyes over Rain's body, causing Rain to squirm as he felt heat rush to his cock. Well, that would be a look if he walked down the aisle with a giant hard-on. Honestly, he couldn't wait to get Max alone tonight in their honeymoon suite they had booked at their favorite resort, the El Encanto. They couldn't go too far away since the tour was starting soon, the wedding carefully planned in between final practices and the start of the tour. He didn't care, though, because having Max as his husband would be amazing. He returned the look with one eyebrow arched, and Max blushed through his sun-kissed freckles.

Kwan coughed slightly, interrupting the eye-fucking they were giving each other.

"Hate to interrupt, but I have something to confess." Kwan's voice was subdued and he would not look them in the eye.

Max, the teddy bear in the relationship, put his arms around Kwan. "It's okay if you don't want to do this, Kwan. You don't have to support us if you don't want to."

Kwan shook his head. "No, Max, it's not that. Are you fucking insane? You two are relationship goals, man. It's just that…"

Max interrupted him. "Is it the pressure of giving the best man speech for us? Totally fine if you want to back out of that."

"Max, just listen, please. This is hard enough as it is."

Rain placed his hand on Max's shoulder, silencing him. "Go ahead, Kwan. Whatever it is, I promise it isn't going to change anything about today."

"I doubt that," Kwan grumbled low, and his head seemed to be weighed down with what he needed to say. He inhaled deeply and words came out like vomit, quick and forceful.

"I lost the rings. I lost the motherfucking special green sea glass rings. I set them down somewhere and now I can't find them. We looked everywhere too. Please forgive me. I am so sorry." His voice cracked and trembled.

Max looked at Rain, his eyes wide, and he bit his lip. Rain reached out to Kwan and pulled him in for a hug, feeling Kwan's body shaking with guilt. He looked over Kwan's head and Max's nod was imperceptible. After a few moments, he pulled away and looked at his best friend.

"Kwan. It's just rings, man. We don't need them to get married. It's a symbol, that's all it is. What is important are the words we'll say and you being there giving your support. The rings are somewhere in the house. No need for you to worry. Honestly, we don't need the rings."

Kwan sighed, the relief evident on his face. His eyes swept over them as Max was nodding emphatically to what Rain had said.

"Seriously, Kwan. It's just rings. We are still getting married. It's not a big deal. I would have married Max on the beach the night he proposed if someone to officiate had been there, and we didn't have rings then." Max smiled up at Rain, the love he felt written all over his face.

Rain reached over, taking Max's face in his hands, Max's blue eyes piercing his own dark ones.

"Now, shall we go get married?" Rain said quietly as he peppered Max's face with gentle kisses. Max responded by biting Rain's bottom lip, a slight growl escaping his lips as Rain felt the heat surge in his body, his pants tightening in response to his hardening dick. Max pressed up against him.

"Yes, let's go do that so we can do other things." Max's voice with filled with lust.

"Oh my God, you two. That is so gross." Kwan face was filled with disgust. "I get it. Let's go get you two married so you can rail each other somewhere other than our house where we can all hear you no matter how quiet you are."

"Same to you, Kwan." Max grinned as the door opened and Jonathan rushed in, breathless, panic all over his face.

"Oh good, I found you all. I have something to tell you."

They all turned to the youngest member of the band as he held out his hand, two green sea glass rings in his palm and a sheepish look on his face.

"I found these earlier in the bathroom at the house and put them in my pocket to give to Kwan. Totally forgot about them until Casey fell and needed to be cleaned up. I pulled a handkerchief out of my pocket and inside were these. I am so sorry."

Kwan grabbed Jonathan and hugged him hard enough that Jonathan squeaked.

"Lifesaver. You just saved my ass," he whispered in Jonathan's ear, causing a grin to spread across Jonathon's face.

Max was clapping excitedly while Rain smirked and spoke up.

"First of all, are we going to talk about all the things that were said in that confession? Is Casey okay? Why were the rings in the bathroom? And most of all, who the fuck carries a handkerchief anymore?"

Kwan spun around with Jonathan still in a tight embrace, rings in hand.

"Who the fuck cares, Rain? Let's go get you two hitched before these rings go yeet themselves into Mordor."

30 minutes later

As he stood there, holding hands with Rain, Max could feel his tears threatening to build as the happiness overwhelmed him. Jonathan cleared his throat again and Max glanced at him in annoyance as he noticed Rain peering at him expectantly. His eyes large, he leaned in, forgetting he was miked up, and whispered, "Am I supposed to say something here?"

Waves of giggles ran through the audience as Rain grinned down at him.

"Um, your vows, Max?"

Max's large laugh bellowed out, echoing through the venue.

"Oh yeah! I do have those!" Letting go of Rain's hand, he reached into his tux and pulled out his vows. He kept a hold of one of Rain's hands as he began to read.

"Rain. I never dreamt I would be here with you, but I would never change anything. Butterflies come alive whenever I am next to you. You breathed life into me when all I could feel was pain, all I could see was darkness. I gave you my rough edges and you took the time to polish them smooth, showing me the beauty I had within myself. I no longer dread the days I cannot handle because I know you will always be there, without judgement, without criticism. You give me just what I need even if I don't know I need it." Max's voice started to waver, tears blurring the words on the paper.

Rain's grip tightened, Max wiping away tears as he noticed the tears clinging to Rain's eyelashes, the trails down his face. Crying for Rain was rare, so seeing those melted Max's heart even more, making the words he had written impossible to read with his own tears.

"Oh, fuck it. I can't read this anymore. Rain, I love you five-ever. Because four-ever is too short and six-ever sounds ridiculous."

The chuckles in the audience were interspersed with the sounds of crying as he searched Rain's face. Rain cleared his throat, wiping his tears away, grumbling low and causing Max to smile even bigger.

"Stupid allergies."

Max couldn't help but snicker but then felt his chin quivering as Rain started speaking, his deep, gravelly voice trembling.

"Maxwell Graham. Who knew it would be you that showed me what love is supposed to be about? I always thought ‘catching feelings' for someone was stupid until you. You wouldn't stop prying into my heart until it ripped open and laid bare for you. You handled it with care, showing it mercy and grace, until I was ready. You showed me that it was okay to be vulnerable with someone, that being in love was a partnership. You took time to coax out the gentle side of me nobody else gets to see, you bandaged up the parts of me that needed healing and waited for me to realize what I wanted. You always say I saved you, but, Max, you actually saved me. You are my green."

The last couple of sentences were hitched with Rain's sobs and Max could not stop the waterfall of emotions flooding his face and soul. This man was his everything and he just proclaimed to the world that Max was his. Everything was as it should be.

Several hours later

Rain shut the door to their suite, making sure the Do Not Disturb sign was on the handle, and locked it carefully. He did not want them to be bothered tonight, or for the next several days if he could help it.

Max was standing next to the bed, his tux jacket already discarded over a chair, bare chest glistening with sweat from dancing, obvious erection straining against his tight white pants. A broad smile crossed Rain's face as he appreciated the view.

"Get your married ass over here, husband." Max rolled the title off his tongue as his blue eyes grew dark with desire. "You know the rules."

Rain nodded as he stripped off his jacket and knelt in front of Max, his eyes downcast, as he awaited his instructions. Max lifted his chin. "As always, Rain, what is our safe word?"

"Butterfly." Rain's voice was thick with want, his pupils dilated. Max nodded at him, tracing his lips with his thumb.

"Good boy. Do you want my cock in your mouth, choking you with its size?" Max stroked himself through the white satin, feeling how tight they were, his cock straining against the fabric.

Gulping, Rain nodded. He wanted that more than anything; watching Max rub himself was torture. Max tilted his head, indicating that Rain was free to unleash him, which he did quickly, feeling Max's girth in his hand as he stroked him fast for a few minutes. Max's breath hitched as pre-cum glistened the head of his cock, prompting Rain to lick the tip and allow his tongue to run up and down the shaft before swallowing Max whole, opening his throat to allow it to touch the back. He was rewarded with a hiss from Max as he struggled to get his pants completely off so that Rain could continue. Rain could feel his own erection growing as he sucked Max hard and slow, just the way he liked it. He reached down, unzipped his pants, and grabbed his own dick, giving it a few pulls while he sucked on Max.

Max sat before scooting back on the bed, as Rain took off his pants to give him full access to his dick. Eagerly, Max took it in his hand and tugged as Rain threw back his head. He knew what he wanted tonight, so now it was time to see if Max would allow it.

"Max?" His voice was tight. "I want to fuck you so hard right now. And I want to do it bareback. Please, Daddy?"

A wicked grin spread across Max's face as he laid back and spread his legs, permitting Rain access to his opening.

"Yes, Rain, you can fuck Daddy bareback. Make sure it is hard and fast. Fill me up, make me feel so full, please."

Rain reached over, grabbing the bottle of lube to slather himself and Max up, positioning himself over Max and bending his knees back toward his chest for better access. He ran his tongue over Max's dick as he slid into him, Max's breaths coming faster. He slid in and out slightly, stretching Max as he went, the feeling incredible. Rain was afraid he would burst right then and there, making sure the pace was okay. Max gripped Rain's ass and pushed him farther in, placing his legs on Rain's shoulders, allowing him in deeper. The pace became frantic as they both grunted in pleasure.

"Harder, Rain, harder," Max begged him.

Rain slammed his dick into Max over and over, feeling his balls tightening. He was close. As he pumped into Max, he let loose, head thrown back as he felt himself fill Max up with his cum.

"YES, YES, YES, Max. Yes, Daddy," he screamed as he came apart and fell onto Max's chest.

Max immediately flipped Rain over, lubing him up quickly and sliding into Rain's awaiting opening. Max began fucking Rain with a purpose and Rain could feel his own cock responding as pre-cum came out of his tip and he rubbed it against the sheets. As Max exploded, filling him up, he came again all over the sheets, listening to Max yell his name. Max collapsed onto his back, both of them breathing heavily, interlacing his fingers with Rain's.

"I love you, Rainer Jefferson."

"I love you too, Maxwell Graham."

"Five-ever?"

"Five-ever, Max."
