Chapter 79

“Turn over, Anna.”

Anna turned over onto her stomach at her Master’s request, still half-asleep. He stretched out on top of her and pressed his cock inside. She moaned softly as he moved.

He held her hands above her head, and his body was heavy on top of her. “You were a naughty girl last night, Anna,” he murmured in her ear.

Anna’s eyes snapped open. What had she done? “I’m sorry, Master,” she whispered.

He thrust in deeply and Anna cried out as she felt the familiar pinch inside her body. Devin had extended his spikes. She kept her breathing shallow and didn’t dare move.

He sucked on her neck, but kept still. “Do I belong to you or do you belong to me?”

“I belong to you, Master.”

“I know what you were doing when you made Maki come last night. After we’d finished fucking.”

Anna swallowed and tried desperately to remember what had happened the previous evening. Her memories were fuzzy from the drugs, but she had a vague remembrance of feeling possessive of Devin’s cum inside Maki’s pussy. Yes, Devin had fucked Maki and Anna had not liked the idea of Devin leaving any part of himself inside the other woman, so she had eaten the cum out of Maki’s pussy without his permission.

“I do not belong to you, Anna. I can stick my cock in whatever woman I damn well please. I can come inside of any fucking woman I damn well please. Do you understand?”

She whimpered. “Yes, Master.”

“You took what didn’t belong to you. That’s a very bad girl.” He moved a fraction of an inch and Anna cried out in pain. “You were aggressive when I hadn’t told you to be.” He moved again and tears began running down her cheeks.

“I’m sorry, Master! I’m sorry!”

Devin retracted his spikes. “I don’t want to punish you, Anna,” he said quietly. “I want things to be good between us.” He began moving slowly, which felt good, except for the cuts that he rubbed against. “Give me your pain, Anna.”

Anna closed her eyes and concentrated. He rubbed the sore area and she cried out.

His movements increased. “Give it to me, Anna!”

She tried. She tried so hard, but it wouldn’t work. She arched her back and screamed in pain and frustration.

“Give it to me!” Devin shouted, pushing up away from her, pressing her wrists down deeper into the mattress and squeezing them hard. He thrust hard over and over again. Anna’s body jerked with his movements. Finally, something tingled within the pain and the next moment, her mind and body exploded into tiny shards. She screamed in painful ecstasy as Devin drove himself deeper and deeper inside her. He gave a last hard thrust and cursed above her.

Anna panted as she lay with her face and body buried in the mattress. Devin had collapsed on top of her and his weight made it difficult to breathe. Just as she worried she would pass out from lack of oxygen, he groaned and rolled to his side.

He looked at her and brushed her hair—wet from tears—back away from her face. “I’m sorry, Master,” she whispered, unable to keep the frightened quiver out of her voice.

Devin pulled her close. “You took your punishment well, Baby. All is forgiven.”

She rested her head on his chest and wanted to go back to sleep, but knew she had to get up and get to the studio. “I’ll do better next time, Master. I promise.”

“I know, Baby. I know.”

Anna didn’t notice the bruises until she got into the car. Her pussy hurt, too. She wasn’t bleeding, but the cuts Devin had given her hadn’t healed. Stupid, stupid girl! No matter her resolve, she always failed and made Devin punish her.

Anna gingerly sat down on the floor next to Travis. He immediately spotted the bruises on her arms and frowned. “What happened?”

“Devin had to punish me,” she said in a low voice.

Travis let out a low growl and muttered something about “fucking bastard.”

“I misbehaved, Travis. What else is he supposed to do?”

“You’re justifying what he does now?”

Anna shrugged. “He doesn’t usually hurt me just for the fun of it. He always has a reason.”

“Usually.” Travis snorted. “Yeah, you tell him you don’t like his shirt and he tortures you for the rest of the afternoon.”

“He’s never punished me for that.”

“Yet.”

“Again, what is he supposed to do? I misbehaved. I didn’t mean to, but I did.” She sighed. “Even Wilhelm had to punish me when I was in Russia.”

Travis’ jaw dropped open. “Wilhelm punished you?”

“Well, he called it discipline...” Anna thought back to the spanking and winced. Disappointing Wilhelm had been terrible, but he hadn’t hurt her as badly... “I guess it was different.” She shrugged. “But Devin was nice afterward this time.”

“This time...” He shook his head. “Damnit, Anna. Don’t you ever wish you could just... run away?”

Anna’s jaw dropped open and she stared at him. “Are you serious? Run away?” She laughed bitterly. “He’d find me. He always finds me.” She shuddered. “I tried... once...” She shivered, remembering the terror of Devin finding her after she’d run away at that Spring Gathering years ago. She shivered again at an even more terrifying memory. “You don’t know what he did to me when I tried to kill myself when I was younger. I can’t imagine what he would do if I tried to run away.”

Travis leaned close and lowered his voice. “What if there was a way? If you could get out of here and get somewhere safe?”

Anna shook her head sadly. “Safe doesn’t exist, Travis. He knows everything. He always knows where I am and what I’m doing. He’d know if I was at the airport or leaving the city.”

Travis glanced down at her wrists. “You don’t deserve this life.”

“Deserving of it or not, it is my life. If Alex were still alive, there might be hope. But he’s dead and has been for many years. He was the only one Devin couldn’t hurt and he’s gone. And Devin’s... more powerful. I don’t know if even Alex could get me away from him now. If he were still alive.” She shook her head and played with the ribbons of her pointe shoes. “No, Travis. I just need to concentrate on being better. Obedient. He doesn’t hurt me if I’m good.”

Something moved next to her and she looked up to see Justin standing over her with a disturbed expression on his face. “Who hurts you?”

“No one.”

Justin kneeled down and took hold of her hand. “Who did this?” he demanded.

Anna shook her head. “Don’t get involved, Justin.”

“Was it Andersen?”

Anna yanked her hand away. “Please. Stay out of it. I don’t want you to get hurt.” She turned to Travis. “Travis, tell him. Please.”

Travis frowned. “Yeah, man. You can’t do anything about it.”

Justin’s face turned red and he clenched his jaw. “I thought you were her friend.” He growled. “This doesn’t bother you?” He grabbed Anna’s arm again and held it up.

“Fuck yeah, it bothers me. I’ve been watching it for years. But you don’t understand. There’s nothing you can do and you’ll only end up hurt. Or worse.”

“I can’t fucking believe this. What kind of fucking friend are you?” Justin glared at Travis and balled his fists.

Anna jumped up and ran out of the studio. Travis’ voice filtered through the door as it was closing. “Dude, you don’t understand. It’s not like I’m just letting it happen...”

She sprinted upstairs to Isaak’s office. Isaak could make Justin understand... she hoped.

His secretary wasn’t at her desk, so Anna hurried to Isaak’s open door. “Isaak!”

“Anna?” Isaak stood and walked around his desk. “What’s wrong? Why are you upset?”

“Justin... he’s... he saw my bruises and he’s pissed at Travis because he told him not to get involved.”

Isaak frowned down at Anna’s wrists. “Devin?”

She nodded. “Justin’s really angry, Isaak. I’m afraid?—?”

There was a commotion in the hallway and Anna heard yelling.

Isaak pushed past her and looked out the main office door. “Wait here.” He disappeared around the corner.

He returned a few minutes later with Justin and Travis. Travis had a bruise on his cheek and Justin was huffing and glaring at him.

“Oh, no!” Anna stared at the two dancers. “What?—?”

“Anna, go back to the studio,” Isaak said in a calm voice. “Delia will start class if I’m not back.”

Anna glanced at the two men again, then went back to the studio. One of the dancers told her how Justin and Travis’ argument had escalated, and that Justin had punched Travis in the face.

Anna appreciated Justin’s caring, but if he wasn’t careful, he was going to attract Devin’s attention, and that was never a good thing.
