Doug bit back fury unlike any he had ever felt before. That bastard had taken her home with him. Doug had followed, sure the man was going to take her back to her brothers’ or her parents’ where she belonged.

Where they could take care of her. Until Doug could convince her to let him take on that role for life.

But no. Fields had just carried her away.

Doug sat there in his luxury Lincoln and watched as that bastard carried Genny into his condo. Genny had her arms wrapped around another man’s neck, looking like she was exactly where she wanted to be.
