Chapter Twenty-Nine

Indio was supposed to be patrolling, but Marius called him to the ranch office where he found Travis Walton, Dallas and Marius waiting for him.

Immediately, he stiffened, thinking he was about to be told he'd fucked up somehow. Marius asked Dallas, "Where are they?"

"Who?" Indio asked. His nerves were already shot from the events of the past couple days. They weren't helping.

"Kirk went to get Dex and Pappy."

"What is this?"

Marius was sitting on the corner of the desk, Dallas behind it, and Travis was leaning on the wall near it. He kicked the chair toward him. "Sit. We called a meeting. You need to know what's going on."

He sat and looked around at the overly-serious faces. "Someone needs to tell me what's going on."

Just then the door opened and in came Kirk, followed by Pappy. Pappy shook Indio's hand and said, "Hello. I haven't seen you like when we were all at the farmhouse."

Kirk nodded to him and took another chair, pulling it close to Indio's.

"Kirk, what the fuck, man?"

"Sorry, we're being so weird. We wanted to warn you."

"Warn me?" he asked while his skin crawled and hands curled into tight fists on his lap. "About?"

Marius answered, "Your guy."

"My…? What about him? Not even saying I have one."

They all laughed and all it did was piss him off fiercely. He was ready to scream, but Dallas said, "We all don't know you well, and I'm sorry ‘bout it, but Kirk knows you best and we went to him with this first. Your guy, and yeah, you have a guy, like it or not, is conniving with our guys to get you tied down into a relationship by pulling you into the lifestyle."

"Lifestyle?"

Travis said, "BDSM? You know, like most of us are into."

"I ain't into that."

Marius groaned, "We know that. But, our guys think you could be, and that would be a good way for Sel to get you to make a commitment."

Indio groaned and leaned over his lap, settling his elbows there so he could scrub over his face with his hands, trying to figure out what to do.

Pappy was crouching next to him, using that preacher voice he used so well. "Indio, I understand that this is frustrating, and you likely feel like you're under a spotlight right now, but the reason we've gathered is to help you."

"Help me how?" he asked with his hands covering his face.

"Binxie, well, he's done this kind of thing before."

Travis laughed and said, "And like this, he's pulled other people into it, so he's not the only one in trouble."

"Travis, be fair," Pappy said. "Binx doesn't want to get anyone in trouble. He has good intentions."

"Indio, really, they're not trying to fuck you over," Kirk said, and he finally looked up at the man.

"No?"

"No. Mal is in with them, and you know him. He's not that way at all."

It was true. Malcolm wasn't a bad dude. He'd befriended Indio the moment he met him. "Okay, then what the fuck?"

Pappy went on, "They've seen Sel, and they are his friends. They know how Sel feels about you, and how they think you feel about Sel. And you do, we've all seen it, even if you try to deny it."

That was exactly what he'd like to do, but he'd been struggling himself with his growing feelings about Sel. "Okay, so…what should I do then?"

Marius answered, "Go with it."

"With what?"

Pappy explained, "They've spoken to Sel about trying out the lifestyle, and he is interested. They also have told him it's really them that call the shots in the relationship, and that they let us believe we are in being the dominants."

"They ain't wrong," Dallas said, pushing Marius.

"Hey, I never thought I called any shots with you. Ruben, on the other hand…"

Chuckling, Dallas said, "He knows he's got us both whipped."

"Same with Binxie. Nathan and I are very much enamored with him, which gives him a lot of leeway. The thing they understand is that the submissive does have the ultimate power. The safeword."

Indio wasn't stupid, he knew about that shit, but being confronted by all of them, while it was nice they were letting him in on the stupid fucking conspiracy, he wasn't one to be backed into a corner, not from Sel, and not from them.

Without a word, he left and got on his bike, leaving the ranch, heading to the bunkhouse. While leaving his bike running, he rushed inside to see Sel surrounded by the other guys, all with their heads together, likely planning out his life.

He moved around the table where they sat and when Sel noticed him, one second before he grabbed Sel's hand from the table, he said, "You're coming with me. Now!"

Sel barely got a nod out before he was hurrying them to the door, almost dragging him to the bike. After rummaging around in his saddlebag, he pulled out two half-shell black helmets. Shoving one at him, he asked, "You ever been on a bike for more than a short ride?"

"N-no."

"Hold onto me, not too tight and turn into the corners. Don't fight against me while we're riding. Watch me, and move your body like I move mine."

"Oh okay. Sure."

Indio mounted the bike and started to get on his helmet, and as soon as Sel's was on, he got behind Indio and wrapped his arms around his middle.

Indio took off, but not before noticing all the men standing in the doorway of the bunkhouse, all pale and once again worried about Sel. There was no need, he didn't want to hurt him.

Yet.

He rode out of the ranch then got much faster once they were on the highway. The wind blowing in his face felt good. He'd heard of hot under the collar to describe being pissed off, but that was the first time he was sure he'd felt it.

Random thoughts blew away while he was on his bike. It settled him in a softer place, a place better able to sort through what was happening in his life. Having Sel holding him from behind didn't upset that thought process. In fact, it settled him more.

With anxiety taking him from that office, he needed to get away from all those faces and expectations. He wasn't one to get pushed into anything, and he wouldn't allow it.

The thing was, Sel was someone that couldn't leave his thoughts, no matter how long or how fast the drive could be. The first thing he thought in the mornings, the last thing at nights, popping in at random moments throughout the day, no. Sel wasn't someone he could run from. Sel was with him, body or not.

Sel rested his cheek on Indio's back, and that sent another wave of warmth through him. As stubborn and confident as Sel was, Indio thought he saw something else there. He'd freak out if anyone thought him vulnerable. For his entire life, he'd had to be strong and sure, a leader for the other kids.

But the night of the shooting, Indio had seen him. He was scared and he hated that. For people to see him afraid wasn't an option. He had to be strong to take over the family business when it was time. For years, likely, he'd have to establish his own dominance over people, but the thing was, he couldn't do that with Indio.

When his head was empty of the voices of all those other men, and his thoughts could finally settle, he knew what to say and what to do.

Taking off toward a rolling set of hills, he looked until he found what he was looking for. Pulling off at the entrance of a picnic spot, he rode up a smooth dirt road until he came to a spot surrounded by trees and away from all the other humans who would be able to witness what he had planned.

Once he cut the engine and dismounted, as he took off his helmet, he said, "Get off the bike."

"Are you leaving me here?"

Indio barked a laugh. "No, you dumbass. I'm not leaving you here."

Still cautious, Sel dismounted and slowly took off the helmet as he kept staring warily at Indio.

Once it was off, Indio gently took his hand and led him into those trees, watching for the perfect spot to have their talk and whatever else they might get up to.

There was a spot that was clear in the middle of at least eight trees. The forest floor was soft as he stepped over it, and there was birdsong in the tops of those trees. Stopping suddenly, Sel almost ran into him.

He turned to face Sel, letting go of his hand. "I've already had enough of all this bullshit."

First his face fell, then his head. "Oh. Okay."

Taking two fingers under Sel's chin, he raised his head. "Can I finish, or are you out to control that too?"

"I don't want to control you!"

"I just got lectured by all of the…Doms or whatever the fuck they call themselves of all your little friends. Let me set you straight right now, no one, I don't give a fuck who he or she is, no one controls me! So, stop with the fucking manipulation."

"I didn't mean to?"

Indio slapped a hand over his mouth. "Shut. The. Fuck. Up."

Sel closed his mouth and nodded a little, looking rightfully pitiful.

"I'm not your husband, I'm not your partner, I'm not your fucking boyfriend and as far as your dominant or whatever it is, I'm not that either. I'm a guy, you're a guy and we…we like each other. I do not like fucking labels that put me in a little box that someone carries in their pocket. Yeah, I want to be with you, but stop trying to get me to do or say more. You'll hear how I feel or you'll feel how I feel about you. I don't do labels and I don't do a lot of words."

Sel pulled his hand away, and Indio thought his temper would break, but then he got a huge surprise. Sel's eyes filled with tears and once they fell from his eyes, Sel said, "I don't need words. It's like I told you after we fucked that first time. I see in your eyes how you feel about me, Indio. I just…I thought if you had the label of dominant, you wouldn't be so…to try to…"

"Push you away? How have I pushed you away, Sel? I've been in bed with you twice now without fucking you. If I just wanted a fuck, I'd have slept somewhere else."

Sel turned his back to Indio, and he thought that was it. He'd gone too far, but he wasn't going into anything with Sel by lying or making him believe things that weren't true.

"Sel…"

"I'm not angry or hurt. I'm relieved."

Surprised, Indio spun him back around. "Relieved?"

"All my friends were well-meaning, I swear. But I knew this about you already. And, to be fair, I don't need a label for what we are, and I don't need a fucking contract to trap you into doing what we've already been doing."

"Contract?"

"To live the lifestyle. You, the Dom, me, the submissive."

"Oh. Well, write it up. When we're in bed, I sure as fuck will dominate you, and if we decide, later on, to take it further, okay. If not, just…be patient with me."

Sel threw his arms around Indio's neck and kissed him. "I thought you were taking me out here to break up with me. Not that we're…"

Indio took a fistful of his hair and yanked, bringing his head back. "Just because I don't like labels, that doesn't mean I have any fucking intention of sharing you. I don't share. Ever. Not even for anyone to look at you. You get that?"

A smile broke on his face as he grunted, "Got it."

Indio let go of his hair and in true Sel fashion, he righted his head and demanded, "You too! I'm not sharing that dick, like ever! I will literally cut it off."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah," he purred before he set his lips to Indio and his hand snaked between them to punctuate the threat with a gentle squeeze to his groin.

As they were still kissing, Indio scooped Sel up into his arms and then lay him on the ground. "Wiggle out of those pants. I think I need to fuck you right now."

"You think? Don't you know for sure?"

Indio growled from deep in his chest and then he laughed. "You can't shut up, like ever, can you?"

"When it comes to you, I have such an urge to piss you off. I think it's the hate sex."

"Oh, sure, sure. Must be. Then, please, go ahead and piss me off, because I love hate-fucking you."

Sel straightened his back as he sat up. "Well, why not get to it then? I'm getting very bored down here and there you are, with your pants on."

"You still have yours on!"

"Oh! Right."

"Get ‘em off while I go fetch the shit from the bike. I better see you naked when I get back."

He saluted like a smartass and Indio had to laugh as he got back to his bike. Once he grabbed the condoms from the bag, he slowly made his way back to Sel, giving him enough time to comply.

For all his scheming to get Indio to be his Dom, he certainly wasn't very obedient. Indio could change that. Sel would be begging to obey once Indio got finished with him.

Sel was naked, completely, and squirming on the ground. "This is very itchy."

"Oh yeah?"

Sel smiled as his eyes rolled hard. "And you don't really care."

"Not even a little bit."

Indio got the two small packages of lube from his wallet, got on the condom after taking his dick from his pants, letting Sel watch all of it.

"Stay still. I'm not gonna chase you to get my dick in."

"There are pine needles poking me!"

"That's not the only thing that's gonna be poking you."

More laughter as he yelled, "You're such a dick!"

Indio got on his knees, feeling the needles poking through his jeans, and just knowing how they'd feel on bare skin made him smile. "If I had some ink, I'd put it all over where the pine needles poked you. That way, you'd never forget this."

Sel's smile left, and his eyes turned into fire. "I'd let you."

"Big, strong mafia don to be, huh? Let's see how the future boss can wail and whine for me."

"I don't whine."

Indio's dick got even harder at that deep voice Sel got when he was in deep lust, and when he was proving his toughness. His confidence was sexy, his intelligence, his brutal truthfulness, all of it was hot, and they combined to make Indio want him more than he'd ever wanted anything.

He fell over Sel, staring into his eyes. "What do you see there?"

"In your eyes? I see that you want me. And I see you want me for a lot more than just…this."

Indio moved down to kiss him tenderly, hoping that said all the things he couldn't.

When he moved his face away from Sel's, he saw more tears in the fucker's eyes. "You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm happy."

Indio took his cock in his hand and started to aim it to Sel's hole. "Get your legs spread nice and wide for me, and hold on. This isn't going to be soft and sweet."

"I wouldn't like it if it was."
