Chapter 20

CHAPTER 20

***ARCHIE***

A rchie carried Felicity behind the table to a section of dense vegetation, then set her down, ignoring the confused look on her face. "I have one more surprise for you," he said, pulling back the palm fronds in front of them to reveal the little haven he'd created in the jungle. "Our own little love nest."

Felicity looked at the pillows and blankets he'd arranged into a bed, then over at him. "You sure are setting the bar high," she said, wrapping her arms around his neck. "This is going to be awfully hard to top."

"Well then, it's a good thing I've got the rest of our lives to try," he said, grinning at her. "I wanted the night to be special, a night that we'd never forget."

"It already is," Felicity said. "I love you, Archie."

"I love you too, Felicity," he said, lowering his mouth until it was just inches from hers. "If you think this is special, just wait until our wedding night in a couple of days; I have something even better planned."

Felicity pulled her head back, "Did you just say a couple of days?" she asked, looking up at him. "Archie, we can't get married that soon."

"Why not?" he asked, grinning at her. "Max is already setting it up, Brittany is helping, and I believe your parents are on the way to the airport as we speak."

"You're serious," she said, this time stepping out of his arms. "We can't get married; we just met a week ago. At least, I don't think we can."

When she looked up at him this time, there was a hint of excitement in her eyes. "Did you say Brittany is helping you? Is she going along with this?" she asked. "That doesn't sound like her, and my parents, I can't believe they're happy about this."

"Brittany just wants you to be happy, and she thinks I make you happy," he said, shrugging his shoulders. "Your parents might not be quite that supportive, yet, but we'll bring them around. I love you, Felicity. I don't want to wait to get married. I know you're the one I'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with."

"But why so fast?" she asked. "Why do we have to do it here?"

He pulled her into his arms. "Fate brought us together, and the island made sure we stayed that way," he said. "You're going to think it's silly, but I just thought……well, getting married here before we left would be a way to say thank you, to bring some joy and positive energy to the island."

Felicity studied him for a second, her blue eyes filled with love, then shook her head. "You certainly do have a way with words, Dr. Robinson," she said. "I don't know how I can say no to that, mostly because you're right, but I've discovered that I have a weak spot when it comes to you. If it will make you happy, we'll get married right here, tonight if you want to. I just want you to be happy, Archie. "

"I am happy, Felicity, I'm happier than I've ever been," he said. "There's only one thing that would make me happier."

"Oh, no," she said. "I should have known there was more."

"Actually, this one is very simple," he said, turning her around in his arms and unzipping her dress. "I want you naked in my arms, my love, I want you trembling beneath me and crying out my name."

She gasped, then shivered when he slid the straps off her shoulders and let the dress fall to the ground, but he was the one who groaned when he saw that she was naked underneath. Pulling her up against him, his hands finding her breasts, he nuzzled her neck, letting the first wave of desire wash through him, just the thought that he could have taken her anytime they'd been walking on the beach making his body begin to throb.

"God, you drive me crazy," he whispered in her ear. "I wouldn't have been able to resist you until now if I'd know you were wearing nothing but that dress."

Felicity began to purr in her throat when his fingers found her hard nipples, and any response was lost, but he didn't notice, he was already lost to the passion slowly building between them. With one hand, he fondled her plump breasts while he slowly slid the other one down her body and between her legs, then slipped a finger between her folds. She was hot and wet, her juices flowing down her legs, and he groaned when his body responded, throbbing against the fabric of his shorts, but he managed to ignore it, his only goal, Felicity's pleasure.

When he began to slide his finger over her already swollen pleasure button, she cried out his name and began to tremble, then only seconds later, tumbled over the edge, her body bucking in his arms. When her legs would hold her again, he turned her around, then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her, putting everything he felt into the kiss .

Felicity was the one who broke the kiss, pushing him gently away before reaching for the buttons on his shirt and slowly slipping them free. The shirt fell to the sand, and she reached for the button on his shorts, making him gasp at the feel of her hands so close to his throbbing manhood. A mischievous smile appeared on her face as she slowly slid his shorts over his hips and let them fall to the ground, and his heart began to pound when he saw the look in her eyes.

***Felicity***

Felicity wasn't sure what she was doing, only knew that she wanted to give Archie the same pleasure he'd given her, and she slowly sank to her knees in the sand in front of him. When she wrapped her hands around his swollen member, he gasped and reached out to steady himself with his hands on her shoulders, making her bolder. She stroked him until he began to groan, then leaned forward and slowly took him into her mouth, rewarded by the growl of pleasure that came from deep in Archie's chest.

Letting instinct take over, she lavished him with attention until he was moaning, his fingers fisted in her hair and rocking his hips. With a growl that made her body begin to throb with anticipation he jerked her to her feet, then slammed his mouth down on hers and kissed her. This wasn't his usual kiss, it was rough and demanding, the kiss of a man who'd been pushed to his limits, and her body began to pulse with a need so powerful it was almost painful.

When he let her go, he spun her around in his arms, pulled back the palm frond blocking their love nest, and shoved her inside. "I need you now, Felicity," he said, pushing her down onto her hands and knees. "I need to be deep inside you."

Archie dropped down behind her, shoved her legs open with his knee, then grabbed her by the hips and buried himself inside her, sending waves of pleasure shooting through her. She cried out his name, swept away by the sensations, but under the physical pleasure she felt something more, and welcomed the feeling as their souls began to dance together.

No longer aware of anything but the man who made her feel complete, she rode the waves of pleasure, relishing in Archie's growls behind her until she felt him lose control, dragging her with him. His body pulsing and throbbing inside her only heightened her pleasure and she rode one crest after another, feeling like she was going to shatter into a million pieces. When the last wave of pleasure faded away, Archie fell onto his side, taking her with him, and they lay entwined together, trying to catch their breath.

It was a long time before either of them stirred. The night was too perfect, the stars shone brightly through the leaves of the trees over their heads, the breeze from the ocean was full of promise, and the moon was rising, adding its silvery light. Felicity rolled over and ran her hand up and down Archie's chest, sighing with contentment, the ring glistening on her finger a reminder of how far they'd come in such a short time.

She knew that it was going to be difficult for people to understand how it was possible for them to fall so deeply in love over only the space of a few days, especially her parents, but she didn't doubt her decision for even a second. So much of what had happened to them on the island would have to stay a secret, and that wasn't going to help, but her parents would keep an open mind, would come to see in time that Archie was the best thing that ever happened to her.

Lost in her thoughts, she wasn't ready when Archie rolled her over onto her back, then leaned down to look at her, and she let out a little cry of surprise. "We're going to have to get dressed soon. Montgomery will be here to pick us up in a few minutes," he said. "I wish we had more time, but I couldn't talk Max into letting us spend the night here. Something about strange things happening on this beach when Theo was here."

"I'd like to hear that story," she said. "But I think the island is done with us; we're together, and I can't imagine anything else is going to happen."

"No, I don't think so either," he said, shrugging his shoulders. "But Max is the boss."

"It was an amazing night, Archie," she said. "Thank you for going to all this trouble, it makes me feel really special."

"You are special," he said, then leaned down and kissed her. "Before we have to go, I think I'll show you just how special."

They were just slipping into their clothes when Montgomery beached the boat on the shore, and she knew as they raced across the sand to meet him that her cheeks were bright pink. It had been the best night of her life, and she knew that there would be many more to follow. All she had to do was look at Archie to know they had a bright future together.

The dock was deserted, the village dark and quiet when they pulled into a slip, and she realized just how late it was. "Thank you for staying up to come get us, Montgomery," she said. "It was very nice of you, definitely above and beyond the call of duty."

"No worries," Montgomery said, smiling at her. "Anything in the name of love."

They walked up the dock hand in hand, then started for the village, "I wish I didn't have to go back to the cabin," she said, leaning into Archie. "I don't want to go home to my empty bed."

"Me either, but you don't have to," he said. "Brittany isn't expecting you home until tomorrow morning. I was hoping you'd stay with me tonight."

"I can't think of anything I want more," she said, smiling up at him. "Well, there might be one or two more things, but that can wait until we get to your cabin."

Archie groaned, "Woman, be careful what you wish for," he said, pulling her up against him. "Don't forget dreams come true."

She laughed, "I don't think I'm ever going to forget," she said. "I love you, Archie."

"I don't think I'm ever going to get tired of hearing you say that," he said. "I love you too, Felicity."
