Chapter 4
CHAPTER4
Larkin didn’t think he’d ever dressed so quickly. He’d abandoned the armor, knowing nightfall would be upon him far too soon. His tunic was ripped, but his pants were still in one piece, and he put on his shoes.
As the dragon had told him, his horse was long gone, something that soured his mood even further. She should’ve held steady, awaiting his return. His previous steed would’ve stood there no matter what the threat or danger, even if he’d been loosed from his reins.
But Larkin didn’t have time to dwell on what might’ve been.
He started at a jog down the mountain path, relieved that he was going down instead of up. It had taken him a full day to get from the foot of the mountain to the cave’s entrance, but that had been with the ascent.
That had also been with a horse, something he was choosing not to think about.
The roar that sounded from behind him as he turned the first corner made his blood curdle in his veins, and he froze for a moment in blatant terror. How was he supposed to escape this terrible beast?
Maybe he ought to give up now and return.
Maybe the dragon would allow him to taste—
His stomach churned at the mere thought of what he’d done the night before, when he’d been so lost to himself that it made him positively ill to think of what he’d done, of how he’d acted. He was no sex-crazed addict! He was a prince of the kingdom, who was perfectly capable of keeping his urges at bay.
Who had never really had those urges before.
It had to be something about the dragon, then, though he’d never heard dragons having any qualities that would explain the exquisite taste and the way Larkin had lost himself so completely to it.
Larkin certainly wasn’t going to inform anyone of it, lest they find out what he’d done in his shame and fear.
Larkin glanced behind himself, and he could see the large form of the dragon taking to the skies. Surely Jade wasn’t going to harass him all the way down the mountain, though. He’d said…
He hadn’t said he wouldn’t interfere.
Swearing under his breath, Larkin hurried his pace. He was grateful for the time he spent on the training field, but he knew his stamina wouldn’t last forever. At least he hadn’t worn the armor that weighed him down, freeing him up to quicker movements and a greater speed.
The next sound from the dragon sounded like a laugh. Several birds scattered from the trees in response, and Larkin was so distracted he tripped over a root. He landed hard on the overgrown trail, cursing himself for being so careless.
He had to get up again. Maybe he couldn’t outrun Jade, but he could be stealthy. Hide in the trees and make it impossible for a creature that high above him to ever catch sight of him.
Pushing down the fear, Larkin got back on his feet and slowed his pace, choosing paths that would shield him from a dragon’s view. This wouldn’t be as quick as a straight line, but it gave him a better chance.
A few times, he felt the wind stir from Jade’s swoops, but he evaded detection. Take that, dragon. Larkin wasn’t so naive or simple after all. He could outsmart a beast.
Even if that beast was capable of speech and writing and had the most amazing cum—
No. Larkin ignored the way his ass clenched at that memory and kept moving. He would persevere. He would make it home and return with a whole retinue of knights and warriors to kill this dragon.
He would....
Larkin stopped next to a tree and stared at the narrow path ahead. The mountain had funneled to this area, and unless he wanted to climb a peak, this was the only way out.
It was also blocked by rocks.
Still.
His men should’ve been working to clear the rockslide this entire time, and they should’ve made progress!
He vaguely remembered the dragon saying his men had left, but surely he’d been lying. Dragons did that, didn’t they? They lied?
He stared at the rockfall for a long moment as though that would make it go away, but all it did was make more time pass. He thought about shouting for his men, but that would give away his position more easily than anything else he could’ve done. He still had a chance to escape. He just had to… get past this.
It was a tiny hiccup. He could do it.
But as he lifted the third rock into the air to set it aside, Larkin realized he didn’t stand a chance.
A sudden gust of wind had him tensing, and not a moment later a large, pale green dragon settled at the top of the rockfall. The creature’s mouth widened into what Larkin assumed was a smile—although all he could see were the very large, very sharp teeth.
“It seems you’re a little stuck,” Jade said. “Would you like me to carry you?”
That was a trick, of course. There was no way the dragon had suddenly decided to benevolently help him… was there?
Larkin looked helplessly at the rocks, then back up at the dragon, swallowing hard. “It counts,” he said stubbornly. “I made it here, before nightfall. Even if you carry me over, I still made it, and you have to let me go.”
Jade snorted loudly. “This is hardly the foot of the mountain. We’re at least half-way up.”
Were they truly that high up? He’d made such good time! The rockfall had been farther down the path, he was sure of it. The dragon was lying. Again.
He scowled. “Do you always lie?” he demanded.
“I haven’t lied,” Jade said, sounding almost offended. “If you made it past this rockfall on your own, I would have been truly impressed and conceded my loss.”
“Then I’ll make it on my own,” Larkin said. “I still have time.” But the sun was setting, and there wasn’t really that much time, and he had no idea how to get past the rocks. He could try to climb them, but he wasn’t that good of a climber, and he had no gear to make it easier on himself.
Jade laughed again and flicked out his tongue. Some saliva landed directly on Larkin’s head.
“You do amuse me. Go on then, show me how you’ll reach me.”
Larkin shuddered at the feeling of the spit on his head. That strange tingling sensation threatened to overtake him again, and he was vividly reminded of how he’d felt the night before. His cock twitched in his pants, and—
He definitely couldn’t think about that.
He went to the edge of the rockfall, bracing himself to start trying to climb it. “Leave me alone,” he said sullenly. “I can do this without you watching me.”
“But I want to see.” Jade’s tongue snaked out again. “If you can reach me, pet, I’ll reward you very nicely.”
Another pulse of his cock as it threatened to turn erect at that. Reward. He wanted a reward. Would it be more—
Damn it. Damn it!
“I don’t want your rewards,” he insisted, pulling himself up about a foot off the ground. Not much, but enough to start his ascent.
“Of course you don’t.” Jade tapped a large, dragon claw against one of the rocks. “I didn’t start my story early enough. I should have begun here, where your men abandoned you.”
“They didn’t abandon me!” Larkin hissed. He almost missed a foothold in his anger. “And there are no stories for you to tell.”
“No, no, of course not.” Jade lowered his snout and peered at Larkin more closely. “Don’t worry. I’ll catch you if you fall.”
“I’m not going to—” He slipped, losing precious inches, and cursed. “I’m not going to fall! Would you stop distracting me?”
“Which word for penis do you like more? I’m quite fond of member, but Alabaster insists it’s too puerile. No real umph to it. On the other hand, Alabaster’s idea of a good story is usually very crude. Not something you’d share with the historians of the future.”
Larkin managed to get a little higher, but some of the rocks crumbled beneath his fingertips and left him clawing for another handhold. “You are not going to discuss… penises in your… account.”
“I’m going to discuss at least three of them,” Jade said gleefully. “There’s a foothold on your right. If you straighten your left thigh, you’ll be able to reach it.”
Maybe a foothold would make this easier than trying to scrabble at the rocks with his hands… but he didn’t want to follow the advice. He didn’t want to need it. But he reluctantly tried anyway, straightening his leg and making it easier for his right foot to slide into the foothold. He held himself there for a moment, then tried to search out other footholds as he started to make progress.
He was going to do this. He was going to get over the rockfall and escape.
Then he looked down, realizing he’d only gained a few feet, and the sun was rapidly descending on the horizon.
“You need to rely more on your legs, not your arms,” Jade said. “You’ll tire yourself out far too fast otherwise.”
As if Larkin didn’t know that already. As if his arms weren’t burning from the strain of holding himself and pulling himself up. He didn’t want to give up, though, so he straightened his leg and reached up for another small handhold.
Only the lighting was deceptive, and what he thought was a deep crevice was simply a shadow. His fingers slipped, his weight shifted—and suddenly he wasn’t against the rocks at all anymore, but falling.
He let out a cry, fully expecting to land hard, potentially even cracking his head on the rocks at the bottom.
Before he’d fallen more than a foot, though, Jade swooped past him and caught him in his large… hands? Talons? Larkin had never wondered what to call a dragon’s front feet before, but now he was resting on them.
Jade rubbed his snout all over Larkin’s body. “Got you. I told you I’d catch you. Now let’s get you home.”
Larkin struggled against him, clutching at the scaled body that held him. “No!” he said quickly. “That isn’t… It isn’t… I still have time!” As though he’d really make it over the rockfall in the limited time he had left. But he had to try. He couldn’t simply surrender to the dragon.
The dragon’s wings beat harder, sending out a gust of wind as Jade flew up—with Larkin firmly in his grip. Larkin glanced down at his escape path, another protest on his lips, until he saw just how high up they already were. The trail he’d followed was barely visible through the tree line. The rockfall appeared insignificant.
If Jade dropped Larkin now, there was no hope that he would survive.
“What’s the matter?” Jade asked. He followed his question with a deep, rumbling laugh that reverberated through Larkin.
“You know what the matter is!” Larkin shouted. He clung to Jade, terrified as they flew through the air and rapidly undid all the meager progress he’d made. All the time he’d spent running, and it was undone so incredibly quickly as those wings buffeted the air.
“I’ve never dropped anything unintentionally before. There’s no need to worry.” Then Jade’s grip on Larkin tightened and he did a full roll in the air.
Larkin screamed, completely terrified.
Forget escape. He had to survive.
Jade laughed again, increasing his speed and doing more loops and somersaults in the air. The only concession he made to the fact he had Larkin with him was pulling Larkin closer to his torso, so that Larkin was pressed against those cool scales. Larkin closed his eyes and tried to fight the vertigo threatening to make him vomit. If his stomach weren’t entirely empty of everything but dragon seed, he might have done so anyway.
It would have served Jade right to get puked on.
Larkin had no idea how long they stayed in the air, but finally he felt them slow. He dared to open an eye and was both relieved and deeply disappointed to see them approach the mouth of the cave.
Jade swooped down, depositing Larkin on the ground right before the mouth of the cave, and he wavered a little as he tried to get his footing. He was dizzy from his time in the air—and from the fact that it had been a while since he’d eaten or had anything to drink, which he was keenly aware of all of a sudden.
“That was fun,” Jade said, rubbing his snout along Larkin’s body. “We’ll have to go flying more often.”
“Only if you plan to keep starving me,” Larkin said sourly, trying to push at that powerful snout but making no progress in putting distance between them. “I’d have thrown up on you if my stomach had been full.”
Jade pulled his head back and peered at Larkin with his large, golden eyes. “Are you hungry? You should have said. What do you want? I can catch you a deer, or maybe some sheep?”
Larkin stared at him. Food hadn’t exactly… come up during their time together, and he was nauseated from his trip through the air. “That’s too much food for a meal,” he said. “And I don’t know how to preserve meat.” His men did, though. Damn them for leaving him behind!
“We’ll share, don’t worry.” Jade patted Larkin with one talon. “But first, let’s get you back into the den. I can’t have you wandering off and hurting yourself while I hunt.”
There wouldn’t be much wandering in the dark, and they both knew it. It had been hard enough getting down the winding mountain path in full daylight, and now nighttime had descended upon the land. He could only see by the moonlight, and he was reluctant to have that stripped away from him when he stepped into the cave again.
“Can you see in the dark?” he asked.
The moonlight shimmered strangely over Jade, and where one minute there was a large dragon, the next Jade was in his more humanoid form again, completely naked. Larkin instinctively backed away a few steps.
“I can see better than you,” Jade said, ignoring Larkin’s attempt at evasion and wrapping his arms around Larkin’s waist. He kissed Larkin’s neck while rolling his hips—and both cocks—against Larkin’s side. “Come, my gem. I’ll get you settled for the night.”
Larkin squirmed, but that didn’t do anything to help him. If anything, he was worried that if he wriggled too much, he might stimulate those cocks and land himself into a real mess all over again. He went still instead, but let himself be guided back into the cave.
Some of the moonlight spilled into the cavern once they got to the alcove, and Larkin was grateful for it. Being robbed of his freedom was bad enough; being denied his sight would only make things that much worse.
“I’m thirsty too,” Larkin blurted out. “Don’t you know anything about taking care of humans?”
“I haven’t kept one before,” Jade admitted, sounding gleeful. “There’s so much to learn! But I have your water skin, I’ll refill it for you.” He gently pushed Larkin to the ground. “Stay there while I get the supplies.” Then he was off, making noise around the cave.
The small bit of moonlight that spilled through the opening on the side of the cave didn’t help Larkin see what Jade was up to. “Supplies?” he asked doubtfully, gathering up one of the blankets and wrapping it around himself. “What sort of supplies?” He peered in Jade’s direction, but he could see nothing.
“Fun ones!” Something fell to the cave floor with a thud. “Do you prefer large and bulbous or large and ribbed?”
“Um.” Larkin looked at the ground, but he couldn’t make out what had fallen. “I don’t think any of those options sound good…”
“Ribbed, then. That’s more similar to me anyway.” Jade wandered back, holding several things in his hands, chiefly among them rope.
“What’s that for?” Larkin asked, voice going high with panic.
Jade held up not the rope, but a solid stone item. “This? It’s a phallus. Made of jade. I thought it was funny to have them make a dragon phallus out of the same precious stone I’m named after. They didn’t get it quite right, but it’s good enough for now.”
Larkin blanched. “...What?” he managed to get out. “No, I don’t… I’m not…” He shook his head furiously. “You aren’t going to be bringing that near me, are you? I’m not going to try to run away. It’s too dark.”
“You aren’t very smart though, are you?” Jade said as he very deliberately stepped closer. “I don’t trust you not to hurt yourself. This is all for your own safety.”
Larkin scrambled to his feet, only to get tangled up in the blanket he’d been using for warmth. He almost toppled over, and before he could straighten completely, Jade was almost upon him. “I’m not going to hurt myself!” he protested. “Though you might hurt me with that… thing.” Surely Jade didn’t mean to use it on him.
Jade grabbed Larkin’s wrist and deftly wove rope around it. The rope was strangely soft, very different from the rough rope Larkin was used to. “It sounds like you need a few kisses from me. Or would sucking my cocks make you feel better?”
Panic threatened to overtake him, and he shook his head, trying to pull free. “No kisses. No touches. Just… no. I don’t want to suck your cocks.”
But didn’t he, though?
He shuddered, remembering how good it had tasted…
Larkin gave a startled cry when Jade gripped his chin and brought their lips together. He tried to keep his mouth firmly closed, but Jade’s dragon tongue somehow wormed inside, leaving a tingling sensation in its wake.
He pushed at Jade’s chest, uselessly as ever; it was like Jade was a solid mass of rock, and he couldn’t be budged at all. And of course, there was the feeling of that tongue against his lips, against his own tongue, and it felt so good that he really didn’t know why he was fighting. This felt… good. He remembered that now.
Larkin started to instinctively suck at Jade’s tongue, trying to capture more of that taste.
Jade huffed a laugh but continued to kiss him, all while he worked the rope around Larkin’s other wrist. When Jade pulled back, Larkin whimpered and tried to follow.
“I know, I know, my gem.” Jade placed a quick kiss to Larkin’s forehead. “But I need to go out to provide for you. It wouldn’t do for you to waste away on my watch.”
Larkin tried to blink away the fog that was settling on his mind. “You don’t… you don’t have to… go…” He pulled against the rope, but his hands were now solidly bound to each other.
“Lie down, little gem. We need to remove your pants. Unless you want me to tear those to shreds, too.”
No, he didn’t want them ripped to shreds. He wanted to keep those in one piece. But he didn’t really want to be completely naked, either, especially not when he was being tied up like this. It didn’t bode well for reasons he couldn’t entirely articulate even to himself.
“More kisses?” Larkin asked hopefully, tilting his head as he looked pleadingly at Jade.
Jade smiled at him, and in that moment, he was the most beautiful person Larkin had ever laid eyes on.
Creature.
Jade had horns and shimmered with semi-translucent green scales. Jade was a dragon.
“Of course.” Jade ran gentle hands along Larkin’s jaw as he kissed him again, tracing Larkin’s lips with his tongue.
Larkin eagerly opened his mouth for Jade, hoping for more of that sweet nectar. He got a little taste, and he sighed contentedly. He barely even noticed when Jade’s arm wrapped around him and started to coax him to the floor. Larkin even raised his ass to help the dragon strip him of his pants, and all the while that decadent, sweet taste filled his mouth. He tried to bring his hands up, a little dumbfounded when he remembered they were bound. Oh. Right.
He wasn’t supposed to want this.
But he lay there, letting Jade kiss him as he settled on the cave floor.
Jade broke the kiss and sighed contentedly. “All right. As much as I would love to keep playing with you, I do need to find sustenance for you.” Despite his words, he kissed his way down Larkin’s body, stopping briefly to lick Larkin’s already hardening cock.
His fingers also pushed against Larkin’s hole.
Larkin gasped, arching his hips. “No,” he cried out. “Don’t stop… I can… eat later.” Later. Never. He didn’t care, as long as he got to feel this. And his hole felt like it needed to be filled all over again.
“I can’t have you wasting away.” Jade brought the strange item, the stone phallus, up to Larkin’s lips. It was heavy and cool, completely different from Jade’s cocks.
Larkin shook his head. He didn’t want this pale imitation of the real thing.
“Suck,” Jade demanded. “Suck on the stone cock like it were mine, while I get your cute little hole nice and ready.”
Larkin let out a little whine, giving a lick on the head of the stone phallus, but he shook his head again. He didn’t like the taste of it, didn’t like the feeling of it. It wasn’t cool and soft, welcoming, and it lacked the taste Jade’s cock had. If he was going to turn into a cock-slut, didn’t he deserve to have the real thing?
Jade sighed and removed the phallus. “All right. It would be easier on you if you got it nice and wet, but maybe you just really want to feel it.” He set the phallus across Larkin’s bare stomach and ducked down again.
For one glorious second, he wrapped his long tongue around Larkin’s cock in a way that would have been impossible for a human. Larkin cried out and lifted his hips, seeking out more of that sensation, but Jade brought his hands down firmly on Larkin’s hips.
“Stay still,” Jade ordered as he nosed his way lower. Despite his demand, he pushed Larkin’s hips up, exposing Larkin’s hole. “Humans smell so interesting. But you’re the best one I’ve smelled so far.”
A shiver ran through Larkin, and he didn’t know if it was the touch, or the words, or… what, exactly, but it didn’t seem to matter. He liked that he was the best smelling human the dragon had ever been around, didn’t he? But there was something about this that didn’t seem like it was… ideal.
Jade spat on his fingers, then started to push them inside of Larkin’s tight hole.
Larkin mewled and tried to cant his hips, even while his mind rebelled against the act itself. That now-familiar tingle built upon pleasure, making it that much better for him, and he squirmed and tried not to like it.
But he did.
It was only the dragon’s spit and whatever it did to him, the feeling of those fingers sliding inside of him and pressing in all the right places. It definitely had nothing to do with him and his likes or dislikes. Larkin wasn’t… he wasn’t a wanton slut.
Larkin whimpered and shut his eyes, but it didn’t stop the pleasure from growing. It didn’t stop his cock from hardening. It wasn’t fair how good it all felt.
He startled when Jade pulled back, when he felt the phallus being lifted off of his stomach.
“Remember, you could have made it wetter,” Jade said as he pushed the hard stone against Larkin’s sloppy, wet hole.
Larkin yelped, his entire body going rigid. No, he didn’t want this. He didn’t want that thing inside of him. It was one thing to accept the dragon’s cock, as it leaked fluids that made him positively tingle and writhe for more. It was another for him to even think about taking the jade cock.
“N-no,” he whined. “I just want you.”
“You are so, so cute,” Jade said, smiling. “But we can’t live off sex alone.” Then he plunged the phallus in with no further warning. Its rippled surface massaged Larkin’s insides as it went deeper and deeper, impossibly large.
Not as large as either of Jade’s cocks. But still bigger than Larkin’s cock. It had to be bigger than any human’s, never mind that Larkin hadn’t ever seen another adult man’s cock.
He gasped, his hips jerking, and he had to squeeze his eyes closed. He didn’t know what to think of the sensation, except that it was so hard and unyielding, and it left him feeling like he was being wrung out. It was nothing compared to Jade himself, but it felt so much better than it should have.
The phallus kept going, until his hole had sucked most of it in. There was a strange groove at the end, leaving some of the phallus outside of him, pushing against his balls. Larkin felt sweat roll down his hips while he clenched, unsure if he wanted to drive the hard stone further into him or get it out.
Jade kissed the tip of his leaking cock. “All right. Let me tie up your ankles, too, and then I’ll be going.” He took the loose end of the rope and pulled, forcing Larkin’s arms lower.
“No! I want… I want… you…” Shame flared up inside him as he admitted that, but it wasn’t worse than the unbidden pleasure or the intense need in his loins.
It didn’t matter, though. His pleas fell on deaf ears as Jade took hold of Larkin’s ankles and forced them together. The new position had the stone phallus driving in deeper, resting heavily against a spot that was making it hard for Larkin to even breathe. For a few moments all Larkin could focus on was the intense pleasure of the phallus rubbing his insides, his balls drawing tight and his cock twitching with imminent release.
“P-please,” Larkin begged.
“Shh, don’t worry. Just enjoy yourself. Sometimes all you need is to admit you have no control over the situation and simply ride the wave.” Jade wound the rope around Larkin’s ankles and secured the two sets of loops together, so that in the end Larkin was bent awkwardly, hands and feet tied to each other. He had to lie on his side for any semblance of comfort.
Tears started to form in his eyes. “Jade. Please. Please don’t leave me like this,” Larkin begged.
Jade bent down to kiss one of the tears. “There you go. You can cry if you want. If you wiggle around, you might get more stimulation. But don’t worry, I’ll be back for you very soon.” He placed a blanket over Larkin, then stood up. “Get some rest if you can. I’ll have a feast for you on my return.”
Larkin was so painfully aroused that he could barely even absorb those words. He didn’t want a feast. He wanted… sex.
Which was humiliating, but he couldn’t deny how much he wanted that gifted tongue to wrap around his cock. He wasn’t going to move around to try to get stimulation; he wasn’t that far gone. But at the same time…
Why couldn’t he stop moving?
But hours passed without release, and he finally gave up, crying himself to sleep in utter frustration and mortification.
Maybe Jade would be back soon.
