29. Isaac

ISAAC

M aking his way down the grand staircase, Isaac turned left, then walked across another long hallway before coming to a door that led down to the basement. This was the section of the chateau that guests didn't need to see.

He opened the door, then made his way down the old wooden steps. Since this section of the estate was not for public use, Matteo wasn't concerned with making this area as flashy and opulent as the others.

Once Isaac reached the bottom of the stairs, he continued his path down a long and dark hallway, passing door after door of what used to be the servants' living quarters.

When he reached the end of the quarters, he turned down another hallway, which led to a darker, more sinister section of the chateau's past.

The dungeons.

Yes, Matteo may have joked about throwing people into his dungeon, but the truth was that Matteo did actually have a dungeon located deep beneath the mansion.

Isaac stopped in front of the large wooden door and took a breath. He could do this.

Exhaling, he lifted the latch and stepped inside the room.

The room was dark and cold, with only a few lit torches providing light and heat in this medieval torture chamber. The dungeons were long forgotten as the last man to be imprisoned and tortured had died over a century ago.

At least, that's what Matteo claimed.

When Isaac had suggested the idea, he hadn't thought about the logistics of holding a man prisoner in a century-old dungeon. Light and heating were something that he and Matteo would have to figure out soon. They didn't want their guests dying from pneumonia or hypothermia. Those escapes were way too good for either of their prisoners.

"Miss me already?" a deep voice snarled from the darkest corner of the cell.

Isaac smirked, then lifted the torch off the wall and watched as shadows danced across the stone. It seemed quite fitting to keep a monster locked away in a dungeon instead of a modern-day prison.

Dark figures on the walls seemed to follow him as he made his way toward the snarl in the darkness. He lifted the torch slightly, causing the shadows on the walls to run and hide. Cowering from the light that threatened their very existence.

There, huddled in the corner and chained to the wall, sat his brother. His head was lowered as he focused on the ground before him.

They left him dressed in the same clothing he wore during the takedown, so his shirt and jeans were stained with blood and grime. They really didn't care enough to clean the man up or give him a fresh pair of clothes. Animals like this man deserved to live in their own filth.

"I thought I'd come down and see how you're settling in?"

Declan let out a huff.

"Why don't you come over here, and I'll show you just how great I'm doing," his brother sneered, refusing to believe that he had been beaten.

"Oh, don't worry, you and I and ?zgur are going to get to know each other really well."

"?zgur?" Declan asked with a slight hitch in his voice.

Was his brother… scared?

Isaac couldn't help but gloat. It felt good having his brother fear him for once.

"Yes, ?zgur. He's got a particular set of skills that I'm dying for him to teach me. Oh, don't worry, big brother. You and I will have loads of time to do some brotherly bonding. Perhaps we'll even learn a thing or two about one another."

Isaac crouched down and stared into his brother's face. There was nothing but hatred and violence in the emerald orbs that stared back at him. If his parents could see the monster that his brother had become, they'd be so ashamed.

He gave his brother a few taps on the cheek before standing up and glaring down at him. "It's good to have you home… brother . Now, like I said, get some rest. You and I have a play date first thing in the morning."

His brother lurched forward in a sorry attempt at attacking Isaac. The chains around his wrists tightened, and his body jerked back violently.

Isaac chuckled. What a moron.

Without flinching, he watched as his brother fell back on his ass and grumbled in pain.

"It's time you paid for the sins of your crime, big brother. Settle in. You're going to be here for a very, very long time."

Isaac turned and headed toward the door. He didn't bother glancing over his shoulder or turning to get one final look at the monster that was his brother.

When Declan had his arm wrapped around Isaac at the factory, it became clear to him that if they ever made it out alive, he had two options. Have Declan arrested and then hope that the justice system worked in their favor and punished the man who had inflicted so much pain and misery onto others. This option also held the very real possibility that something could go wrong, and his brother might get off scot-free.

Or, option number two: kill his brother. This option would permanently eliminate the threat his brother posed, and justice would finally be served for all those women he kidnapped and violated. But death seemed like too good an option for his brother.

Then, a third option began to take shape. They could bring Declan back to France and lock him in Matteo's dungeon. With this option, his brother would be contained, the public would be safe, and Isaac could spend the next thirty to forty years torturing his big brother… daily.

Now that sounded like justice!

Matteo didn't question Isaac's proposal and even suggested that they apply the same justice to their new friend, Sawyer—who evidently occupied the cell across from Declan's.

"Good night, big brother. See you in the morning," Isaac hummed, pulling the heavy door shut behind him and listening to his brother cry out in frustration.

He may not have the muscle to overpower and beat up his big brother, but with the assistance of ?zgur, he could spend the remainder of his brother's days exacting justice for all those whom Declan hurt over the years, including himself.

Now, it was time to go and thank Jared. Properly. Over and over, all night, until Jared's dick was raw and chafed.

Now, that was how Isaac wanted to spend the rest of his nights.

Hot, sweaty, and under Jared.
