I stood to go find Asley with Micah. I found her passed out beside her computer. I linked Micah, “I guess the caffeine ran out.”

I picked up her computer and plugged it in. The screen sprang to life. I saw that Ashley had filled out the paperwork to file against Trevor, but she hadn’t submitted it to anyone.

Really? Alexander says to do it, and he gets farther than any of us had? I clicked on the tab with her email. She had about sixteen drafts saved and they were all to Alexander. I pulled up his last email.

As far as your belief that you are bothering me, I promise you that you aren’t. I’m glad you find the workout programs helpful. I put those videos out there with tips in the hopes that people find them useful. I am truly glad you and your pack have. I wish you would leave a pack where you do not respect the Alpha. I’d tell you if I respected Alpha Davis to give him another chance, but I don't. I know he is doing things he shouldn’t. I urge to consider your attendance to Elise’s birthday again. Like I said, we’d all love to meet you. On a different subject, this business with the wolf claiming to be your mate has my attention in a way that man does not want it. My wolf and I both are enraged. No Alpha worth a damn would let that fly. This disgusting creature deserves to be punished. You ARE a Werewolf which means you would feel something towards him. I cannot stand for this as an Alpha. I am enraged yours is and I’m barely refraining from coming down there and removing him from power.

Micah linked me, “Holy goddamn shit! Alexander isn’t playing around.”

I snorted, “No he’s not.”

I grabbed a blanket, put it over Ashley, and walked out. I told Mason, “She’s passed out in the back.”

He nodded.

Micah and I went back to his apartment. Micah said, “That wasn’t exactly the productive meeting you wanted.”

I snorted, “No, but it was something.”

Something indeed. I knew Cassie would call bullshit the second I showed her this letter from the King’s. I told Micah, “Let’s go home to our mates.”

He opened a portal to Black Mountain, and I opened a portal to My Duchess. I knew eventually we’d sort this all out.
