Flashback

Cassie was in town. I left and saw Cora and her floozies. I rolled my eyes. Cora whispered, “Everyone’s worried. She clearly can’t give him a child. She’s barren and useless. It’s only a matter of time until he turns to someone else.”

I whirled around.

Rain snarled, “Let me rip her to shreds.”

I stalked over to Cora, grabbing her by the collar of her shirt. I said, “One day, you’ll remember the fact that I can fucking hear you, you psycho stalker. Cayden and I haven’t tried to have a child. He often says he likes having me all to himself.”

I punched her and she went down.

I warned her friends, “If I hear that lie running around this realm I’ll kill each and every one of you. I let you say your shit about me, but not about my family.”

Cora whimpered, “We said it wasn’t Cayden’s fault!”

I retorted, “I meant my brother and my mom. They would heal me. Your implication that they would not care about my pain of not being able to have a child if I want one is incredibly disrespecting.”

I glared at them, “I was young when the first bitch hurt their healing side and I didn’t know the extent it did. Sadly for you, I spent time immersing myself into the Faerie culture. I learned things I didn’t know before and I will NEVER let someone hurt them like that again.”

I hit them all then stalked off.

Rain growled, “Tell me we are doing something.”

I snorted, “We are.”

I was going to call my Beta, Gamma, Aiylee, and Beagan. We were going to get that bitch and humiliate her as she tried to do me. She would NOT hurt my brother or my mom with her whispers about my fertility. Rain snarled, “What about us?”

I snorted, “It doesn’t bother me because it’s not true. I won’t have her hurting our people that my mom or brother healed though either. Fertility is not a damn joke.”

We’d seen wolves and other supernaturals coming to mom our whole life with painful stories of being unable to conceive. It was no laughing matter and Cora would find that out quickly.
