Bonus Epilogue

Months Later

W e walk through the little island of Capri; the sun is out as Catalina and I walk through the streets, the smell of lemon and ocean linger in the air. Our honeymoon is almost at an end, after months of traveling from one country to the next. We settled in Italy for the time being, seeing as much as we could before returning to our lives in the states, and getting to know my half siblings. "Fuck, what about the Dominguez brothers? Are they not worried about this? What do they have to say about this?"

"They don't seem concerned. Julian keeps telling me not to worry about it. He's actually been a little busy lately." I raise my hand above my head, questioning whether or not to get involved. It's not like it's my problem or my people, but it could cause a risk to Catalina's life.

"Keep me updated on the news. I'm not bringing Catalina into this." I reiterate reminding myself with every spoken word when I'm so desperate to tell her. Ry keeps quiet as if he wants to tell me more, but refrains by saying his goodbye and hanging up before I could question what he wanted to say. Catalina glances back towards me, looking up and down my body like she was undressing me with her eyes.

My girl is needy for me. Her smile is mischievous, her eyes are dilated like she's taken a hit of a joint. She's quit smoking since we married, only occasionally sneaking one. She wants kids one day, and although it hasn't happened yet we have plenty of practice so it's only a matter of time.

"Is it time to go back to the villa?" I question, walking towards her with every word until I close the distance between us. She smiles, her cute little dimples appear on her cheek, she wraps her arm around my neck, coming close to my ear.
