Chapter 14

I t doesn't take long for Catalina's slow breathing to tell me she fell asleep in my arms on the way back to her house. My cock twitches as I try to move her, my thoughts remain on the way she confidently took her pleasure. I gently wrap my arms around her and a very curious Kai and Rocco stare at me from the front of the car.

Lina came out of the office with a glow on her face, her hair tangled and messy, and her make-up a complete disaster. She didn't falter at the thought of everyone knowing what happened. She owned it in every step she took, and I loved every second of it, every second of every one knowing that she is mine. She had held onto my arm the entire time, steadying herself on the glorious red pumps that sat on her feet when we stepped inside the car. The drive is silent, Kai and Rocco accompanied Sierra and Mika back to their hotel room and returned all while I was preoccupied with Lina's punishment .

She looks like a beautiful angel, the way her hair frames her head. This little fucking seductress is everything I thought she would be since the day I first laid eyes on her. The first taste of her on my tongue solidified my all consuming obsession with her and my desire to make her mine. I yearn to be a good man for her, one that she deserves. I tried to restrain myself from taking her the way I wanted after she took her punishment so beautifully. But, fuck the way she took what she wanted and caressed her sweet curves. The way she lifted her hips to meet her touch and those sweet sounds that came from her delicate lips. I groan, reliving the moment. I almost came the moment she wrapped those lush lips around my cock.

"Enzo," she mumbles in her sleep. My name coming from those angelic lips is like a promise of the sins we will commit together. As we arrive at the Dominguez Estate, I shake myself out of these salacious thoughts. I pick up her small frame and maneuver my way out of the car and walk her all the way to her bedroom bridal style as she sleeps peacefully in my arms. Once I make it up the steps and to her bedroom, her strawberry scent surrounds me. Her room is pitch black with only the light of the moon glowing just enough to see the path to her bed.

"Sei la mia luce in questo mondo oscuro," I whisper before placing a kiss on her forehead. Growing up, I didn't get a chance to learn much Italian, but my mother tried before she passed away. You are my light in this dark world, the phrase she would say every night before I fell asleep, and then she was gone. I didn't bother learning Italian after that but these words have always been embedded in me. It seems fitting that Catalina be the one to light up my world.

"Sweet dreams, Princess," I force myself out of her bedroom. Force my legs to go down the stairs to find Rocco and Kai before I turn my ass around and make my way back inside her room to sleep next to her, surrounded by her scent of strawberries, without caring that her brothers also live in this house. Rocco hears me coming from the kitchen when he stands and makes his way to her door. His station for the night is outside her bedroom as she sleeps. There's no way I'll have her be left alone even if I can see her from her bedroom through my cameras.

Kai leans on the island looking at the mess of people outside by the pool. Julian has his hands on some blonde while Rafa has two brunettes on each side of him, with a few more women naked in the pool. Marcelo is nowhere to be found, and that just pisses me off. How dare his brothers not care if their sister walks in on them out here whoring themselves out.

Julian seems to notice when we step outside, heading towards the pool house.

"Help yourselves," he says with a smirk, while grabbing the blonde by the hand and practically dragging her inside the house. I shake my head, continuing on my path to the guest house not even bothering to see whether or not Kai stayed behind. There's no way any woman would compare to Catalina. She's the only one I want.

My thoughts remain on Lina as I get ready for bed and finally lay down. It doesn't take long for sleep to take me back to the world of darkness.

The lights of explosions go off every few moments showing what surrounds me for a second before fading back to emptiness. Gunshots begin to go off while I try to hide away from the noise. The blood of the men I've killed stain my hands as the pulsing lights continue to go flash, like I'd been at some nightclub. It isn't until I hear my name that my mind calms, the sweet sound of Lina calling out to me drifts my subconscious to a beach, her strawberry scent soothes the demons that were trying to drown me. I hear my name again and feel a feather light touch on my cheek. Opening my eyes, I make out her perfect chocolate brown eyes with hints of hazel, and a look of concern on her face.

"Lina, what are you doing here?" Her hair is still a mess from the club but whatever trace of her make up is off, she is now dressed in a long t-shirt. It looks like she's wearing nothing underneath. She looks stunning, all natural and pure with a mixture of seduction.

"I woke up and you weren't there. I just… I wanted to see you. Rocco walked me down and left to help Kai make sure those girls got home. But you were…" She goes quiet. She doesn't need to say it. I was having a nightmare. I was trapped in the black void in my head. Normally Kai is the one to wake me, but of course he had stayed out at the pool.

"Are you… okay?" She asks hesitantly, biting her bottom lip, the movement itself has me lift my arm so that she could rest her head on my shoulders.

"I'm okay, Princess. It's just the memories of my time overseas. I don't speak much about it, but sometimes it haunts me," I admit not fully willing to tell her just how damaged I am, or admit that I'm broken in some way.

She doesn't say anything else; I brush my thumb on her arm and bring the other to her face moving the strands of hair behind her ears.

"Sleep, Princess. We can talk tomorrow," I yawn. It doesn't take long before sleep wins her over. Her body molds perfectly next to mine, her scent takes me back to the beach I was just in with her.

That dream that took me from my demons and brought me to my form of heaven until I slowly drift off to sleep, anchored by this beauty.
