3 months later

"Show it to me again." Rosie purrs as she kisses her way up my chest, my cock already getting hard. Ready for round two.

With a chuckle, I reach over to the bedside and pick up the legal paper to show it to her again.

This is a win for us. Finally after all the shit that we went through over the past year.

She takes the paper in her hand and she smiles wide as she reads it over for what has to be the hundredth time. I know exactly what she"s looking at. I"ve stared at it over and over again too.

"Final judgement and decree of divorce."

My time as Marie Caprini"s husband is over.

I thought Christine or Babbo would cause a fuss about me wanting to get legal unhitched, but there was no argument. Marie was being held in a safe house somewhere by Christine, and she"d all but worn out her usefulness. We didn"t need to stay on good terms with the Caprini family since I was already the head of that family.

"I can"t believe it"s over." Rosie tosses the sheet of paper back on the bed and leans up to kiss me.

Lust and need simmers inside of me. If I don"t do this now it won"t happen today, and I made a promise to her and to myself that the moment I got my divorce, I"d be married all over again.

Pulling away from her, I reach into the nightstand and pull out a velvet box.

I didn"t ask anyone for permission to marry my girl. I don"t need it, not anymore.

"Oh crap, Gian, what are you doing?" Rosie"s face goes pale and she stares down at the box. I"m not concerned about her saying no, I"m hoping her shock is due to the fact that I"m actually following through.

"You know exactly what I"m doing." I grab hold of her, sliding her off my body so she"s sitting next to me. I get to me knees on the mattress and open the case to show her the ring inside.

She gasps at the extravagance.

It"s a four and a half carat, vintage art deco engagement ring, coming in at a whopping fifty thousand dollars. Rosie is worth it and so much more. The ring is large, yet understated. I want the whole world to know how much I love this woman, starting with her.

"Gian..." She puts a hand over her mouth and tears stream down her face.

"Rosie, I"m not an easy man and I don"t have an easy life. But you have always been the air I need to breathe. I"ve made you go through too many things and wait too long for this moment, all I ask is that you let me spend my life proving that it was all worth it. I love you and only you. Will you marry me?" Even though I"m sure of her answer, I can"t help but feel a bit of nervousness.

"Yes, a million times yes." She wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me into a deep kiss.

Logically, I know I"m supposed to put the ring on her finger now but her hands on my body has pushed my need for her into overdrive. Without much care, I drop the ring still snug in its box onto the bed and follow my woman down to the bed.

We"re already naked from our previous fun times, so it takes no time at all for me to pull her into the perfect position.

"Now, let"s get started on the next part of our journey, shall we?" I look down at her, giving her that half smile I know she loves.

"What part is that?" Her voice is breathy.

"A family. Golden rule, mommy comes first." I whisper into her ear before I kiss down her neck and chest over her midsection and settle between her legs.

I push her legs open and bury my face against her, getting right to my prize.

Her moans and sweet whispers push me to go longer and faster. I"ll do anything for this woman because I know she"ll do anything for me.

It"s not lost on me that things might get hard for us again but as long as I have Rosie, I consider myself invincible.

I"ll be damned if someone else tries to take her away from me or hurt her. From now on, the only tears on my good girl"s face will be the ones she cries as she comes over and over again.

I might not have much experience, but if this is how married life is going to be, I could really get used to it.
