Chapter Twenty

Will And Aiden Get A Shock

Sunday, December 11

Early

Will couldn't remember the last time he'd felt this relaxed. The past four weeks had been an endless round of trips between Minnesota and Milwaukee, of worrying when he simply didn't do worry. Studying had proved difficult, and that wasn't like him either.

Becca's momentary lapse of reason had had far-reaching consequences.

None of that mattered now, not when he was cuddling Aiden under a thick comforter, the scent of bed-warmed skin in his nostrils, the feel of Aiden's body against his… That ache in his ass was a welcome reminder of a night well spent.

It also held the promise of more to come.

Has it only been four weeks since we met?

Long enough to know this could be so much more than the joining of bodies and the pounding of hearts—oh yes, and asses too.

"What are you thinking?" Aiden stroked Will's arm, a leisurely up-and-down motion that served to reinforce their connection.

"That this feels good." He tilted his face toward Aiden's. "It'll feel even better if you kiss me."

Aiden chuckled and their lips met in a lingering kiss that made Will's toes curl. On impulse, Will rolled on top of Aiden, hips rocking in a sensual grind. He took Aiden's wrists and held them above his head.

"Now I've got you," Will murmured before kissing Aiden's neck and collarbones, tracing a line down Aiden's sternum with his tongue. He loved the way Aiden arched his back, chasing the sensation. Will smiled against his chest.

"You taste as good as you look," he whispered between sucking Aiden's nipples, tugging gently on them, eliciting a low moan of pleasure from Aiden's lips.

Then Aiden chuckled, and the sound reverberated through him. "Ah, but do I taste better than lavender asparagus risotto?"

Will jerked his head up and relinquished his grip on Aiden's wrists. "Please, don't remind me." He gazed at Aiden, drinking in the sight: that handsome face framed by red hair spreading out over the pillow; his chest and neck flushed, his nipples taut; and the enticing quiver of his stomach that made Will want to lay a trail of kisses from his navel to the reddish cloud of hair at the base of Aiden's cock.

His stiffening cock.

"Get back here and kiss me. My lips are getting lonely."

Will pinned Aiden to the mattress and kissed him, feeding him a happy sigh when Aiden wrapped long legs around him, squeezing him a little.

"And now I've got you ." He looped his arms around Will's neck.

Will chuckled. "So what are you going to do with me?"

Aiden slid his hand between their warm bodies until his fingers met Will's equally firm dick. He gave it a gentle tug.

"I was thinking of putting this where the sun doesn't shine."

Will grinned. "Sounds like the perfect way to start the day."

Lying in Aiden's arms was wonderful.

Burying his shaft in Aiden's body promised to be even better.

A Bit Later

"We should get up," Aiden murmured.

"You drained me. Not sure I can get up again. At least for another hour or so."

"I mean it."

"Mm."

"We both need a shower."

"Mm."

They lay facing each other, and he couldn't stop touching Will's face, his shoulder, his neck…

I'm just making sure he's really here, in my bed. The previous night still felt like a dream. Every minute of it was crystal clear in his memory: the frantic coupling; the late-night search for pizza; sitting on the rug in front of the fire, feeding each other and laughing when Will got garlic cream on his nose; and Midnight going between them, mewling for rubbies and turning up his little nose at the pizza.

What stood out was Will lying face down on the rug, moaning while Aiden rocked in and out of him, his knees spreading Will's legs wide, a cushion beneath Will's hips to tilt that gorgeous ass and present Aiden with a deliciously tight hole.

Will chuckled. "What's the score so far?"

"Will's ass, two—Aiden's ass, one. And I wasn't kidding about that shower. I'm still wearing your cum."

Will stretched and let out a happy sigh. "That's sweet. I'm still wearing yours. Best aphrodisiac cologne ever."

Aiden cupped Will's nape and looked into his eyes. "You never intended going on a bar crawl last night, did you?"

Will shook his head. "This was going to be the last chance I had of spending time with you before everything went tits up. I wanted to enjoy your company, not yell over music to make myself heard, surrounded by people drinking their own body weight in beer and making way too much noise."

"And did you enjoy your non-bachelor party?"

He smiled and kissed the tip of Aiden's nose. "Well, it wasn't how I'd thought the evening would go, but I have no complaints." Then the light died in his eyes, and Aiden knew reality was kicking Will's ass.

Aiden could already feel the tip of its boot against his own.

"So what do we do now?"

Will rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling. "Now? Becca and I are about to break up. Which is weird because I'd planned on doing exactly this today." He glanced at Aiden. "And your mom needs to know before she makes any more plans."

Aiden had been thinking about that. "Then the first item on the agenda is to go to the hotel and cancel the booking."

"But I didn't book it—your mom did."

Aiden shrugged. "It's still your wedding, dude. If they get snippy about it, we go to my mom, tell her everything, and then she cancels it."

Will rolled onto his side and stroked Aiden's chest, his touch light. "Do we have to go right this minute?"

Aiden chuckled. "I think putting on some clothes first might be a good idea— after the much needed shower."

"But I'm enjoying this." Will followed the trail of hair down Aiden's torso with his fingertip, pausing when he reached Aiden's cock.

"What—teasing me?"

Will grinned. "Of course."

Aiden grabbed him, pulling Will on top of him once more. He locked his arms around Will's neck. "There's something I need to tell you."

"Oh God." Will froze. "I thought we were done with all the revelations."

"Not quite." Aiden locked gazes with him. "The luggage cart that hit you in the back? It wasn't an accident."

Will's mouth fell open, his eyes wide. "You were trying to hit me?"

"No! I was trying to hit Becca. Well, Becca's luggage. I was jealous, you see."

Will frowned. "I don't understand."

Aiden sighed, stroking Will's back. "You walked in, and you were everything I've ever wanted. Good-looking, attentive, affectionate…"

Will raised his eyebrows. "You know the whole loved-up thing was all an act, right?"

"I do now, but since then you've proved that is how you really are. I watched you with Becca, with my parents, and I wanted to know you. Then you opened your mouth and it just got better."

Will kissed him, a gentle brushing of lips. "I wasn't kidding. These last few weeks have been torture. I wanted to tell you everything but I couldn't, and I knew once Becca came out with the whole Will-dumped-me scenario that I'd lose any chance of really getting to know you. Every time I saw you… I wanted you."

"But you didn't even know I was gay then."

Will smiled. "I know. I was convinced I was lusting after a straight guy."

"And is that all it was—lust?" Aiden had to know.

Will bit his lip. "I never believed in insta-lust until I met you. Then every minute we spent together, I learned there was so much more to you than looks. And even though I knew you'd never want me the way I wanted you, that didn't stop me liking you." He sighed. "Becca would end this mess and lose her fiancé—but I'd lose a friend."

The truth of his words was right there in his voice.

Reality nudged its boot into the crack of Aiden's ass.

He let go of Will. "We've got a packed morning ahead of us. We get to cancel the wedding, come out to my mom and dad… And then there's Becca."

"She's going to see Kelly this morning."

"So what's the plan?"

Will sat up. "When she gets back, we break up. Except she can't know that your parents already know… if that makes sense."

"Perfect sense."

"And before you ask, I'm okay with canceling the wedding, I'm even okay with telling your mom I'm gay, but I'm not going to out Becca."

Aiden smiled. "I guessed that would be the case. And then you'll be on your way." His heartbeat quickened. "So… Will you be continuing this recent trend of trips to Milwaukee?"

Will's grin was all the answer he required.

"Can I point out that the traffic flows both ways?"

Aiden laughed. "I'm going to be such a frequent visitor, you'll be begging me to stay in Milwaukee."

"Never gonna happen." Will's voice grew husky. "About that shower…"

"Let me do the talking," Aiden said as they entered the hotel lobby.

"Fine by me. I mean, how is it going to look? ‘Excuse me, I'd like to cancel my wedding.'" Will appeared uncomfortable.

Aiden squeezed Will's arm. "We're in luck. Pete is working the front desk. I've known him for years. He used to give me lollipops when I came here with mom when I was little." He headed for the desk, dodging the bellhops who busied themselves carrying luggage to and fro.

Pete finished with the couple in front of them and smiled when he saw Aiden. "Hey. It's been a while. How's teaching? Your mom tells me some of the things your students get up to. Rather you than me." He leaned forward. "I think I'd be up on a murder charge before a week was out."

Aiden laughed. "It hasn't gotten that bad. Not yet, at least."

"If you're looking for your mom, she isn't working this weekend."

"I know." Aiden made sure none of the bellhops were in earshot. "Pete, can you do me a favor? Can you pull up the bookings for this month?"

Pete smirked. "Last time I looked, you didn't work here."

Aiden gestured to Will. "This is Will Bryant."

Pete gave Will a nod. "I remember you. The anniversary party, right?"

Before Will could respond, Aiden got in first. "That's right. Long story short, he was going to marry Becca, but now he isn't."

Pete widened his eyes. "Little Becca is getting married?" Then he blinked. "Except she isn't."

Aiden stilled. "Mom didn't tell you about the wedding?" He'd have thought she'd have told everyone who had ears.

He shook his head. "I must've missed this. I'm getting old. Retirement can't come soon enough."

"Well, the wedding is now off. But the Imperial ballroom is booked in their names for December twenty-second. Can we cancel it or do you need Mom to okay it?"

Pete frowned. "Wait a minute." He peered at the monitor. "The Imperial ballroom is booked on that date."

"I know. The Taylor wedding, right?" It seemed Pete might be closer to retirement than he thought.

Another frown. "No—it's booked for a convention—Shrekfest."

Aiden gaped. "There's a con for Shrek fans? Who knew?" Maybe she changed the venue. "Can you check all the rooms, please?"

Pete tapped on the keyboard.

"This is weird," Will murmured behind him.

Aiden had the same thought.

At last Pete raised his chin. "Okay, I've checked twice. There is definitely no booking on the system for Taylor."

"Check Bryant," Will suggested.

Pete tapped again. "I'm sorry, but there are no weddings at this hotel during that week. I've checked current and canceled reservations."

Will stared at Aiden. "What the hell is going on?"

"There's only one way to find out."

Mom had some explaining to do.
