Epilogue

The palace has a new addition — a baby Minotaur.

Her name is Maya, and she is absolutely gorgeous. She has my pale skin, but her father's red eyes and bull-like horns. Asterion and I love her with all our heart, and we are blessed to have her.

The last year and a half has gone by in an instant, and so much has changed. The Shadow Guild has completely fallen apart due to infighting, their tight grip on Celestia Prime loosened. My home world has become a lot safer thanks to Asterion.

Eden continues her online studies, with Emma, Asterion and me alternating as her teachers. Truth be told, she knows more than me at this point. She loves going on walking tours with Asterion through the city as he tells her all about the history of his people, and she soaks it all up like a sponge.

I can't always keep up with them, seeing as I'm pregnant again. With twins! My belly is swollen and big, but Asterion looks at me like I'm prettier than ever.

I know I asked him to breed me… and that's exactly what the Minotaur is doing!

We tried to keep Minos a secret, but that was never going to last forever. Eventually, the secret got out, and visitors came.

Asterion has restored all the city's defenses, and so we are able to keep out any would-be thieves and invaders. Tourists, scientists, and Emma's boyfriends are allowed to visit, however. Speaking of Emma, she has found a new passion in life: being a sassy and snarky tour-guide.

We only allow visitors once a week. The rest of the time I spent together with Asterion in our gorgeous city with our daughter, my little sister and my best friend.

One big, happy family.

When I stumbled through this ancient maze and awakened a sleeping Minotaur… I had no idea that this was going to be the best thing that ever happened to me.

Every day I wake up with that gigantic, fur-covered man next to me, his strong arms wrapped around me, and I know I'm well and truly blessed.
