3. Fallon
Fallon
P eyton holds my hand, whispering soothing words in my ear as we fly the sort distances to Cabo. I've had time to think about if I should tell him the truth or not about my identity. And each time I'm reminded that I barely know this guy. Who knows if he would leak the news to the social media sites that McKenna deceived her fans by having her twin sister take her place. Even if it was for a good reason, I can't take that risk.
The one thing I can do is have him call me by my real name and not McKenna's. "Peyton, would you mind calling me Fallon instead of McKenna?" I bite my lower lip and gaze into his deep green eyes. "Fallon is my real name, McKenna is my stage name." I cross my fingers on my other hand silently praying he didn't google McKenna Carlisle when I was out on stage.
"Fallon. I like it. It suits you better than McKenna."
He tells me about his sister Everlee and all the good times they had growing up and I feel the need to tell him something out my life too.
"I have a twin sister." I blurt out, hoping I didn't just open a can of worms by telling him I have a twin.
"Hmm, I think I read that somewhere. Is she as beautiful as you are?"
"We're identical." I say with a roll of my eyes.
"I bet I could tell the two of you a part."
"And just how would you do that?" I fight the urge to roll my eyes at his flirtatious behavior.
"I can't tell you all my secrets right away, can I?"
He hesitates and I think he's going to say more but he's cut off by Emma announcing the upcoming landing protocol.

After we landed we're whisked away to the private home on the beach of one of McKenna's friends. It's a beautiful home—more like a bungalow. Perfect for one, but now with my uninvited guest, it seems so small and romantic.
"So what do you want to do first?" Peyton eyes the bed in the middle of the room.
"Not that." I roll my eyes. But would it be so bad to have a fling with a sexy quarterback? I mean he seems to be into me. "How about if we have some lunch—maybe get to know each other a little better?"
"What do you want to know? I'm an open book." He flops down on the bed crossing his feet at the ankles and placing his arms behind his head.
"First, do you really think we're going to share the same bed when we don't even know each other?"
"A guy can dream can't he?" his boyish smile is back and I find myself sitting on the bed next to him.
Sitting here with him seems so natural like it was meant to be. Maybe it's time I do something for me for once in my life. I love my sister but I need this, I need Peyton Mann in my life—if only for a few days.
"What if I told you that's exactly what I want to do? Have a vacation fling with the hot guy who is currently hogging the bed."
