EPILOGUE
LUKE
ONE YEAR LATER – 4 TH OF JULY
It makes perfect sense that one year after falling in love, getting engaged, and married, we are spending our second summer in Love Beach as brand new parents.
We watch the fireworks through the windows of our home, instead of on the beach this year, because our one-week-old baby girl is actually asleep.
I walk up behind my wife and wrap my arms around her. "I love you, sweet girl."
"I love you, too."
"Can you believe it's been a whole year?"
"Um, yes. A lot has happened," she laughs.
She's not wrong. It hasn't only been Natalie and I who found our happily ever after. Cameron found a second love. Someone unexpected and perfect. My family came for the holiday and my sister found a hidden royal and fell in love. Love Beach is a magical place for many reasons and now we get to raise our baby here.
I watch the fireworks explode, hold my wife in my arms, and look over at our sleeping angel. I'm the luckiest man in the world. Thank God for Love Beach.
