CHAPTER 16

JANE

1 month later

Another curse. Joe struggles, his brow furrowed, as the dresser drawer extends to the max. I know his clothes won't fit, but it's not like he'll listen to me.

"I mean, do you need all of this stuff?" he asks.

"Yes, I do. Besides, it's my dresser. Do you need all of your clothes?"

He glances over his shoulder at me, his lips pursed. "Explain why I can't leave my stuff in the other room?"

I slide the bookmark between the pages of my book. "Because Gaby will be here for a few weeks and she needs the space."

He rolls his eyes. "Why doesn't she stay somewhere else? Like with Will?" he mumbles.

"Or you could go stay with Will," I reply with a wink. "She's staying here. That's final."

"Yeah, yeah. I'll shut up about it." He pushes down on the clothes, finally shutting the drawer, then stretches his arms above his head, giving me a nice glimpse of his lower stomach.

I put my book down. "Why don't you come here?"

He smiles, kneeling on the end of the bed, and checks his watch. "Do we have time?"

"Honestly, babe, Gaby could walk in on us and I wouldn't give a shit right now. Get naked and get over here."

"My, my. You've turned into such a dirty little girl." He crawls toward me, sliding between my knees.

"I blame the horrible influences I've been around."

"Must be." His nose skims along my jaw and he takes a deep breath. "I think you should reconsider the company you keep."

"I'll let my boyfriend know." I weave my fingers through his brown hair, giving it a tussle, then trace the shell of his ear with my tongue, taking a quick nibble. "But only after he fucks me good and hard."

Joe laughs, pressing his length against my middle, and grins. "Such a dirty, dirty girl."

"Your dirty girl," I reply, tugging his pants down and gripping his firm ass.

He slips his hand between my legs, his thick fingers pushing against my core. "All mine."
