CHARLOTTE

I t feels so right for Gray to carry me into my bedroom. He belongs here, in my most intimate place.

He pauses in the doorway, inadvertently turning his face away from my attempted kiss as he scans the room. His silver-gray gaze falls on all of my recording equipment.

“Don’t worry,” I purr, kneading the taut muscles across his shoulders. “No cameras tonight. The only people who will know what happens in here are you and me.”

A smile springs onto Gray’s visage.

“I rather think everyone at Platinum Security knows exactly what’s going on in here.”

“Oh, they can guess, but they’ll never know…besides, look at all the pregnant ladies you’re surrounded with. It’s not like any of them can cast any blame on you for sleeping with a client.”

“Former client,” he says firmly.

“Former client, current…what?”

He tilts his head to the side.

“You heard me tell you I love you, right?”

“I mean, if my parents ask who you are, what do I tell them?”

Gray tenses up, or tries to. I nuzzle my cheek against him and sigh.

“You can tell them I’m your boyfriend,” he says firmly.

“That works for me.”

A low, animal growl escapes his throat as he rushes toward the bed. He throws me onto the mattress and climbs on top of me. Our lips meet in a moment of pure ecstatic connection. We exist only in this moment of pure bliss. Past and future don’t matter.

Gray rears up, intense gaze pinning me to the mattress as surely as his sinewy body. He slides out of his shirt and tosses it aside before diving back in. A shuddering moan forces its way out of my lips. Gray showers my neck with kisses, his hand hiking up my dress.

He strokes me through my panties, lifting his body to look me right in the face, gauging my reaction. I throw my arms over my head and lay back, luxuriating in the attention.

“Do you like that, Sunshine?” His throaty whisper sends a tingle through my body, the first signs of a brewing thunderstorm.

“Yes,” I manage to gasp between soft cries and groans. Gray’s nimble fingers adjust to my reactions, teasing me up from a low simmer toward a violent boil. His other hand tugs my dress down, exposing my breasts.

I cry out when he teases me upstairs and down. He silences my whimper of surrender with a hard, deep kiss. Gray claims me, takes ownership of my body and uses that control in the best way possible.

I clutch at him, nails digging into his back. My scream is muffled by his lips and tongue, pulse after pulse of sinful pleasure rippling through me. Shaking, gasping, and shivering, I look up at Gray. Soft morning sunshine highlights his sculpted physique.

“I want you Grayson. I want all of you.”

My breathless whisper draws Gray in. His warmth blankets my body. Gray’s lips smother my own, his hands sliding my panties down with primal urgency.

I fumble with his belt, moaning into his kiss. Soon, no more layers separate us. Grayson’s skin glides against my own. This feels how it was always meant to be. I never thought I could fall for someone so quickly, so utterly, so completely.

Gray throbs against my thigh. I reach down and guide him inside. My soft cries mingle with his deep growls and groans as our bodies intertwine like forest vines.

Our bodies seize together. My nerves are on fire. Every fiber of my being glows with the joy of Grayson’s presence. I can feel him moving inside of me. My hand goes to his chest. The beating of his heart throbs against my palm.

Gray’s face contorts, sweat rolling down his cheeks as he squeezes his eyes shut. He grows hard as iron inside of me. We cry out as one, locked in a dance of pleasure.

“Oh god, you’re so beautiful,” he gasps out as our gazes lock. My beating heart nearly drowns out his words as he whispers again and again. “You’re so perfect. My Sunshine.”

“I’m far from perfect,” I gasp between heavy pants.

“Not in my book.”

I sigh and kiss him on the forehead.

“I may not be perfect, but you taught me something important, Grayson.”

He cocks his head to the side, blinking sweat out of his eyes.

“What’s that?”

“You’ve taught me that I’m a real person, and not just a product/brand on social media. I think I kind of forgot for a while. You were never impressed by my fame one way or the other.”

Grayson chuckles. “You had too many other impressive qualities for me to care about that.” His smile fades and his eyes grow somber. “You are for real, Charlotte. You’re the realest person in every room you go into, and I love you for it.”

I hug him tight with all four limbs, happiness blossoming through my chest. Finally, someone knows the real Charlotte, and it feels good. Really good. I want to say so many things to Gray, but then he kisses me, and I forget all about them.

As our lips part, I whisper, "I love you too," knowing that our love story is just beginning. And whatever challenges life throws our way, we’ll be able to face them, together.
