FIVE

Judy

Sunlight sneaks through the blinds, nudging me awake.

Crap, I'm late!

With my heart pounding a frantic rhythm, I bolt out of bed and scramble for my uniform—diner-waitress chic—that's crumpled on the floor.

"Judy, baby, where you going in such a hurry?" Cedric's deep voice rolls over me like thunder, sending shivers down my spine.

"Shift...starts in twenty," I pant out, struggling to shove my leg into yesterday's jeans.

"Come here." His command is as irresistible as gravity, pulling me back toward the warmth of the sheets. "You don't need that job anymore."

"But—" My protest dies on my lips as he wraps his arms around me, his heat seeping into my skin.

"Trust me," he murmurs, lips tracing the nape of my neck, coaxing out delicious goosebumps. He flips me onto the bed and kisses me with an intense fervor that leaves no room for argument—or anything else.

His tongue tangles with mine, and I feel his hardness already leaking precum against my thigh.

"Haven't I told you, you're all mine now?" Cedric growls softly, his breath hot against my ear. His words stir a wild thrill inside me, mixing dangerously with the remnants of doubt.

"I—yes," I manage to breathe out, my hands tangling in the thick musculature of his shoulders. I'm lost in the maze of his touch, his desire enveloping me entirely.

His hands are relentless, exploring every curve and crevice of my body as if he's memorizing a sacred map. My thoughts scatter like leaves in the wind under the weight of his gaze — intense and unyielding.

He shifts, pushing my knees apart with an ease that tells of his strength, and settles between them, his erection pressing insistently.

"This is where you belong," he whispers fiercely before he enters me, slow and deep. The world falls away as he moves, each thrust erasing any lingering thoughts of work or obligation. The sensation is overwhelming, filling me completely.

Beneath him, I moan loudly, clinging to his broad back, my nails digging in slightly. The pain is deliciously intertwined with pleasure, a duality that only Cedric can inspire within me. He increases his pace, and I meet his every move with an urgency that mirrors my heartbeat.

"Look at me," he orders, and I snap open my eyes that had fluttered closed under the onslaught of sensations. His blue eyes lock onto mine, fierce and possessive. "You're mine, Judy. Only mine. I'm your daddy now, and that means I'm going to take care of you."

His words unleash something primal within me. "Yes," I gasp out, my voice a mixture of surrender and assertion. "Only yours."

Cedric's movements become more desperate, driven by our mutual declaration. His grip tightens around my hips as he drives deeper, chasing his release with a single-minded intensity that leaves no room for anything but us.

When the climax washes over us both, it's cataclysmic — sweeping us under a tidal wave of heat and passion. He collapses on top of me with a grunt, his breath ragged in my ear.

We lie there for long moments in silence except for our labored breathing. He's heavy on top of me but it's a comforting weight—solid and protective.

Slowly, Cedric rolls off and pulls me close against him. "You're not going back to that diner," he states firmly after we've caught our breaths.

I nestle into his chest, considering the audacity of what this man is offering: a life tethered closely to his side—unpredictable but vividly alive. Fear twinges at the back of my mind about losing myself entirely to this colossal force named Cedric.

Yet as I listen to the steady beat of his heart and feel the rise and fall of his chest against my cheek, I realize I might be willing to take that risk.
