30. Thirty

Isaiah

The coffee shop alleyway had turned into a bloodbath, not anything I"m not already accustomed to at this point. When Joey and I first started our relationship, we both made a promise we would take down every single one of our enemies and they would be screaming when it happened.

Things are different now. I"m not only fighting for Joey and me, I"m fighting for Carlos too. I'd meant what I told him on the phone and when this is all over, I"ll remind him again of how much he means to me. To us. The way Joey stares at Carlos full of tenderness tells me he"s on board as much as I am. I thought I"d be jealous if he stared at another man the way he stares at me, but not with Carlos. If anything, it warms me inside knowing the two men I care deeply about have a similar adoration for each other.

I had always thought Joey was the only one I needed. The only person for me, but then I saw them together. It's like finding a missing piece to a puzzle you didn"t know you needed until it was there and then a space opened up between us, making room for someone else. On our first night together, the stars had suddenly aligned showing us a bigger, brighter world.

I hate knowing Carlos has been alone all these years, but I don"t regret how things happened. They needed to be this way. We were different people then and still had some growing to do. It wasn"t the right time for Carlos and me to be together. We wouldn"t have worked without Joey and now I"m not sure Joey and I can ever go back to the way things were without Carlos unless there's no other choice. We'd probably be fine over time, but I would rather not leave without him, and I doubt Joey would either.

I turn on the shower and strip out of my clothes, tossing them in one of the bathroom trash bags. I have no doubt Joey and Carlos won"t have any issues disposing of the man"s body after they kill him. It is something they are both better at than me. They probably won"t do it here. It"d be smarter not to.

I rub the bar of soap over my body until suds form. The hot water washes over me, rinsing me clean. I groan as I yank out the butt plug. I wash and clean my hole, taking advantage of the freedom I have without the silicone being stuffed inside me.

Steam has already filled the bathroom by the time I step out of the tub. I yank a towel from the rack and dry my whole body. There"s lube in the cabinets as I'd expected there would be, ten bottles of it in different flavors. I laugh, grabbing the cherry one, imagining what it was like for Carlos to hand over his lube coupons at the register. I laugh again, unable to shake the thought from my head. My laughter turns into moans when I slowly work the plug back inside my ass.

The door opens behind me and Joey"s lustful eyes study mine in the mirror. "Need some help, mi amor?"

"No," I say, shoving the last bit inside me, biting back another moan. "We would never leave this house if you did and we have plans soon."

"You make it sound like they"re plans for a romantic date."

I shrug, spinning around. "We could always make it a two for one. I"m sure Veronica would love to watch me fuck you while tied up to her dead husband. Wouldn"t you agree?"

He smiles wide with a gleam in his eyes. "It"s always fun to fuck when there"s an audience present."

I pull him into my arms, kissing his lips soft and gently. I take my time exploring his mouth with my tongue, never wanting to forget what he tastes like. He moans into my mouth and I slide my hand down the back of his pants wanting to see if he still had on the lace romper Carlos sent me a picture of earlier.

I hum against his lips when my hand is met with the soft, delicate material and trail my hands along the g string that disappears between his cheeks. "I hope you don"t plan on changing."

He laughs. "Didn"t plan on it. I"d hate to miss Veronica"s reaction once she realizes why I was always so eager to pick up her lingerie orders back then."

I laugh into his mouth. "We should get going then. Where"s Carlos?"

"He went to get rid of the body. Gabriel is meeting up with him somewhere to help. He said they usually work quicker together."

"We may have to leave without him since the delivery is supposed to be made in thirty minutes. We aren"t even sure how far this place is."

"Not as far as it sounds, and Veronica should be used to her deliveries being stalled by now," he clips.

I sigh. "We don"t need to raise her suspicions so early on."

"I have a feeling a woman like Veronica lives to be paranoid," Joey exclaims.

"I guess you"re right and now she has passed that burden on to us."

Joey tilts his head. "I was more than sure it was complementary with the lifestyle."

I chuckle. "It took a lot to frighten me before. I never thought I had any fears and then I lost you."

"Then you found me," Joey smiles, stroking my cheek with his thumb.

"I would have never stopped until I did," I say, rubbing my forehead against his.

"I know. I think you should get dressed now. I"m more than positive we wasted ten more minutes," Joey says, snickering. "I"ll meet you in the living room and I"ll see where Carlos is. He may not be happy if we go without him and he can be scarier than Veronica in his own way." His laughter trails behind him as he exits the bathroom, walking closer to the front of the house.

I quickly get dressed in something easier to move in. Joey is staring at an unfamiliar phone. "Is that the guy"s phone?"

"Yeah. We will need to message Veronica"s contact when we get there. You want to tie me up or wait for Carlos to get here? He"s on his way now." He smiles cheekily.

"Carlos was always better with rope than I was. I"m more familiar with other restraints," I say with a wink.

"Which is a good thing, because it will make it easier for me to get out of." Joey steps closer with eyes darkening with desire. "We can always switch the rope out with something else when we get back home."

The door opens and we both go silent as Carlos enters the quiet living room. "Did I miss something?"

"Nope. Just a little caught off guard. How about we end this thing with Veronica once and for all?" Joey says, inching toward the door.

"Sounds like the best thing I"ve heard all day and I"ve heard a lot of great things," I say, grinning at a blushing Joey.

Carlos pulls something black out of his pocket. "We will put this on you once you get in the car. We will be using the man"s car before disposing of it. We found it still in the mall parking lot."

We exit the house together and I slide in the back of the black sedan. Joey sits beside me and I tie his wrists together, kissing each one of his hands. "Only for a little while, Roo." I slip on a white mask over my face and tug a black hood over his head.
