Somewhere in the stands. Attending her first pro hockey game.

She’s here for me.

Cheering for me.

I need to give her something to shout about.

And then later, I’ll have her shouting for different reasons.

“Let’s fucking go.” Zach Hunt shoves his shoulder into mine as we skate onto the ice.

Let’s fucking go.

A ref blows the whistle and the game starts.
