Epilogue

The doctors and nurses are mystified by the four men who all want to be in the room with me.

“Which of you is the father?” one of the nurses asks, blocking the door.

Eli, Leon, Quinn, and Jace all look at each other, perplexed by the question.

“All of us are?” offers Quinn.

In the end, only Leon is allowed in. If I’m going to be honest, it’s probably the worst day of my life, those sixteen hours I spend in labor.

But the next one, where our first pup comes into the world, is probably the best.

The guys timed it perfectly so they have a few weeks off from work. With my new method of bulk ordering and charging higher per-hour rates, we’ve scrimped and saved enough that it’s feasible, so we all get to bask at home with the new baby. Then we’ll go back to work, me in the office with the baby, and them alternating days working outside and days spent at home.

Watching Eli playing with her, Quinn looking over his shoulder, and Leon fixing the crib, I know she’s going to be the most spoiled kid who ever lived.

By the time May is two years old, she’s become a well-oiled machine of terror and destruction. Her dads love chasing her all over the den until one of them catches her and she squeals with joy as she’s thrown up into the air.

Jace sidles up behind me, winding one arm around my waist while Eli play-wrestles with her on the rug.

“What do you think?” he asks in a low tone. “Now that you’ve had one, do you want more?”

I giggle. I knew what I was signing up for.

“Yeah,” I say, reaching up to kiss his cheek. “I do. But maybe we should wait for her first transformation?”

As if on cue, I hear a little howl. May has turned into a fluffy white wolf cub in Eli’s arms. He squeals with delight and swings her around as she scrabbles with her tiny claws.

Jace snickers over my shoulder.

“Good,” he says, his voice changing to become deeper, growlier. “I can’t wait to knot you.”

A shiver ripples from my throat straight to my pussy as Jace’s arms become big and furry around me. I watch the others play, and I couldn’t be happier they howled at me that day on my jog.
