I stretch my arms out without even opening my eyes. Every muscle in my body is aching, but it’s a good kind of hurt. I reach out beside me and am instantly met with an “oomph.”

I smile as Dom automatically reaches for me, tucking me against his body. “We need to get up.”

I burrow deeper into him. “Nope, I’m staying right here all day. I got a text from Walker to take the day off, and I’m doing just that.”

Dom slides his hand down my back and cups my ass. “Again?” I ask him in surprise.

He chuckles. “Honey, get used to it. I’m insatiable when it comes to you, and I want to spend the day in bed with you, but I made plans.”

I groan. “Plans? What kind of plans? And how did you do that when it’s only—” I lift my head up to look at the clock. “Oh my God, it’s eleven-thirty.”

Dom just laughs. “You slept in. You were exhausted.”

I caress my hand at his waist. “I wonder why.”

He captures my hand in his. “Well, I’m thinking we should shower and get going.”

I can’t help it, I groan again. “Ugh, can’t we just stay in bed?”

He sits up, and I lift my head to look at him. He’s completely naked, and he’s breathtaking. I pat the space next to me. “Seriously, let’s stay in bed.”

He moans and leans down to kiss me. When he pulls away, my nipples are puckered, and I’m whimpering for him to keep going.

“We’re already late. We gotta get going.”

He gets up, his cock hard, and stands at the end of the bed. I turn over, pulling the covers with me. “Good luck hiding that giant thing. I’ll be here when you get back.”

He grabs on to the covers and yanks them, leaving me naked. As soon as he sees my naked body, he groans and then climbs over top of me. “We have to be quick.”

He kisses my breasts, lavishing each one with praise, and I ask him, “Where are we going anyway?”

In between kisses, he tells me, “We have appointments to look at three houses.”

I lean up. “Houses?”

He sits up. “Yeah, we’re going to be crowded here. I thought we talked about this. We’re going to renovate this into an office for you so we can still be close to each other. And the three houses are in town so we’ll be close to our work.”

Damn, I want this more than anything, but I shake my head. “Dom, my money. I probably don’t even have any money, and Ray—”

He cups my chin. “My money is your money. I’ve been saving up. Let me do this for us.”

I wrap my arms around him and lie back, pulling him on top of me. Pure happiness is what I’m feeling, and I just let myself bask in it. “Yes to moving in together. Yes to the house. Yes—”

He nuzzles his nose into my neck. “I wasn’t asking.”

I reach down between us and wrap my hand around his girth. “We better hurry, then. We’ve got places to be.”

He slides into me, and with each thrust, he tells me he loves me .

It’s not until we’ve showered and are about to walk out the door that I feel the need to remind him, “You know I’m not on birth control, right?”

He grabs my hand. “Yeah, I know.”

I look at him. “And you know that means that I could get pregnant at any time.”

He is looking long and hard at me. “I may not have a lot of experience, but I do know where babies come from, Lucky.”

I lift my shoulders. “Yeah, but I mean, I just wanted to make sure you know and that if it happens, it would be something you wanted, that’s all.”

He smiles at me. “Do you want to have my baby?”

I let out a big breath, conveying my emotion. “More than anything.”

He puts a hand at the side of my neck. “That’s how I feel. I want to experience it all with you, Lucy.”

I loop my arms around his waist. “I love you, Dominic Evans.”
