Chapter Eighteen
Teagan
I LANDED ON the bed and laughed as I sank deep.
"First order of business, replace the mattress," Cash said before kissing me, his tongue sliding into my mouth.
I moaned as I tore at his clothing, wanting more. Needing to feel his skin. He broke contact with me only long enough for us to remove our shirts, and then he was back, kissing me, his hands touching every part of me.
I arched into his touch, and moved my mouth so I could taste him. His neck, his throat, I made my way down so I could run my tongue over his nipples as Cash took off my bra one-handed. I threw it into the corner, continuing to devour his chest.
Cash let this go on for a few minutes until he rolled me onto my back and tugged my jeans down my legs, panties and all. Once I was completely naked, he removed his jeans as well, then spread my knees and positioned himself between my legs. He slid one finger inside of me, then two. I licked my lips as I stared up at him, my breaths coming in virtual pants as he worked my pussy.
He smiled gently as he stared down at me. "I love you, Turtle."
"I love you, too."
He pulled his hand away, replacing his fingers with his cock and then he moved. Faster and faster, harder and harder, kissing me as he built the burn. He linked his fingers with mine and dragged my hands above my head as his hips continued to grind deep.
"Cash," I rasped.
"Don't come," he rasped.
Deeper and harder, faster and faster.
"Honey, I'm not sure I can wait."
He hit the spot, and growled, "Come."
I cried out as I let go, kissing his neck as my orgasm hit hard.
"This just gets better and better," I panted out.
He kissed my nose with a grin before rolling off of me and sinking into the mattress. "Jesus, where the fuck did they find this mattress?"
I laughed. "The better question might be ‘when'?"
"You might be right," he said as he sat up. Or tried to, anyway. "Fuck. We can't sleep on this."
"No, we really can't. It's sweet of your mom to try, but this is so bad." I turned my head to look at him. "But major kudos to you for giving me an orgasm for the ages on this piece of shit."
"I used the lumpy springs to my advantage."
I snort laughed as he finally heaved himself off the bed then helped me up.
"Let's get cleaned up, then grab a truck and see if we can hit a mattress store today," Cash suggested.
"Can we grab a few other things as well?" I asked as we stepped into the bathroom.
"Yeah, whatever you want."
"Do you need to meet with your dad?"
"If he needs me, he'll let me know."
My mouth dropped open of its own accord.
"What?" Cash asked, as he washed his face.
"That talk with your mom must have gone really well."
He nodded. "It was enlightening, that's for sure."
"Will you share?"
"Some day. Just need to process it for a bit longer."
I kissed his chest. "Okay, honey. I get that."
We cleaned up and changed, then headed downstairs, running into Hatch on the way.
"Hey, Hatch," Cash said. "Do you mind if we take a truck and grab a new mattress?"
Hatch shook his head. "You kittin' out the bedroom upstairs?"
"Yeah."
"Keep receipts, the club'll cover it. Grab a dresser, nightstands, whatever you think it needs."
"Really?" I said with a squeak.
"Yeah, sweetheart, go crazy," Hatch said.
I narrowed my eyes. "How crazy?"
"As crazy as you like."
"Uncle Hatch, you've met me, right?"
"Yeah, baby girl, I've met you. I also know your man, he'll know when to stop you." He nodded toward Cash. "But you don't have a limit, brother. Let her go crazy, anything south of a hot tub."
I clapped my hands and jumped up and down before hugging Hatch. "I love you the bestest!"
"Yeah, sweetheart, I know."
I grinned. "Your spleen is safe for the moment, big man."
"I can die happy." He smirked, focusing on Cash again. "I want you to take a couple of guys with you. Don't want you in the front. If anyone's watchin', don't want them to see you leave."
"Right." Cash sighed. "Good point."
"Have fun," Hatch said, and walked away.
I grinned wide and wrapped my arms around Cash. "Are we sure we can't buy a hot tub?"
Cash laughed, and after checking in with Booker, we grabbed Razor and Buzz and headed out.

We arrived back at the club close to six hours later and I was exhausted. Exhilarated but positively pooped. We'd decided to drive over the bridge into Vancouver to a furniture warehouse the club frequented, because they often had stuff you could take home the same day and they did not disappoint. We found a bed, mattress, dresser, armoire, two nightstands, three lamps, a recliner, and even some artwork.
The bed caused a bit of an argument but when Cash finally saw my vision, it was an easy sell.
"Babe, this is the fifth bed we've looked at it, it's fine," he'd bit out.
"It's not right," I said.
"It's a fuckin' bed. The mattress is the hardest thing to find anyway, and we got that right off the bat. What's wrong with this?" He pointed to the giant upholstered, king-sized bed in the corner of the store.
I gripped his cut and looked up at him. "Can you tie me to it?"
"Come again?"
"I'd like to," I snapped. "Come again… and again and again. So, look for something four-poster, or with railing. No sleigh beds, no upholstery, unless there are hidden hooks in it for a little kinky fun."
"Why the fuck do you say shit like that to me when I can't do anything about it?" he growled before kissing me hard and fast.
"Because you were pissing me off. If you'd just listened to me in the first place, we'd have already been out of here," I sassed, running my finger down his chest. "If there's something you can tie me from above, bonus points for you."
He didn't hesitate then, and we found the coolest freaking bed on the planet. It was made out of wrought iron that looked like twisted tree branches with little gold leaves at the ends. It even had a canopy that he could, in fact, tie me to.
The furniture was loaded into the truck and then we stopped at our local Freddie's for sheets, bedding, and bathroom essentials. While the men put the bed together, I washed the bedding and directed where I wanted everything in the room to go.
Cash surprised me by bringing his TV from home (a prospect picked it up in case anyone was watching the house) and setting it up on the dresser across from the bed, saying, "I'm not sure how long we'll be here, but we can always pick up another TV when we move in together."
"We're moving in together?"
He let out a quiet snort but didn't actually answer my question.
"Cash?"
"Yeah, Turtle?" he asked distractedly as he connected the cables to the TV.
"When did you decide we're moving in together?"
"When we get engaged, I figured it'd be the next step." He moved from behind the television and grabbed the remote, handing it to me. "Hit the power button when I say go, okay?"
"Sure," I said, then processed what he said. "Wait, what do you mean, ‘when we get engaged'?"
"Go," he said, and I hit the power button.
The TV came on and the menu button came up on the screen.
"Menu screen's up," I said.
"Excellent." He shimmied out from behind the dresser and pushed it back against the wall.
"Are you going to answer my question?"
He grinned, taking the remote from me and setting it next to the TV. "What was the question?"
"Cash," I hissed, and he chuckled, wrapping his arms around me.
"Gonna marry you, Turtle. Doesn't need to happen immediately, but it's gonna happen. I love you, and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. I'm not lettin' you go."
I bit my lip. "I have two conditions."
"Anything."
"I want all of this furniture. We'll need to figure out how to pay the club back for it."
"Wasn't planning on submitting the receipts." He smiled. "We'll take it to the new place with us. What's the second condition?"
"I want to live close to my parents."
"Done. We'll start looking for a place to buy next week."
"Wait, buy?" I frowned. "Cash, I don't have enough money saved—"
"I do."
"You do?"
"Yeah." He cocked his head. "Not to mention, my AARP status'll get me a low down payment option and a kickass interest rate."
I burst out laughing as Cash pulled me into his arms.
"You gonna marry me?"
I met his eyes. "You gonna propose to me in a manner in which I deserve?"
"Abso-fucking-lutely."
I grinned up at him. "Then… maybe."
He gave my butt a smack and then kissed me. "Love you."
"Love you too." I gripped his cut. "This means we're going to have to talk to my dad about shacking up."
"Yeah, I'm aware. We'll give him a few to get used to us actually sleeping in the same bed before we do that, yeah?"
I nodded. "Probably a good idea."
I pulled away long enough to glance around the room. "It's missing something."
"What?" Cash asked, pulling open a dresser drawer and dumping in a pile of shirts from the laundry basket.
"A rug," I said before taking the laundry basket from him and scooping his shirts back out of the drawer.
"Babe, what are you doing?"
"You are not an animal," I declared. "These should be folded and set neatly inside. Otherwise, how will you know what you're putting on?"
"They're all pretty similar, what does it matter?"
"Are they even clean?"
"Mostly."
I scrunched up my nose in horror. "Please, for the love of god, don't tell me you put clean shirts in with dirty."
He shrugged.
"Oh my god, gross." I dumped the load into our brand new hamper. "I'm going to wash these again."
"That's not a threat that bothers me."
"Well, do not think weaponized incompetence is going to work on me, Cash. I'm fine with working as a team and I actually like doing laundry, it's calming, but if you want to do the majority of the cooking, you can, because I hate that."
He grinned. "I can do that."
I cocked my head. "That was a little too easy."
"I hate fuckin' doin' laundry, Teagan, so if you're willin' to take that off my plate, I'll happily cook," he said. "I like cookin'."
"I know you do, that's why I suggested it." I lifted the hamper and faced him. "That does not mean I won't ask you from time to time to perhaps switch a load or throw one in, but I'll fold and put away, which I know is the biggest pain in the ass. Deal?"
"Deal, baby."
"Okay, let me go start one now so you have something to wear this week."
"You want help now?"
"No, if you could go rustle up something to eat, that would be great. Wine would be good too. Dinner and a movie would be awesome."
He chuckled, leaning down to kiss me quickly. "On it."
I headed upstairs to where the washers and dryers were housed and dropped in a load, then made my way back down to our room. Cash wasn't back so I grabbed my laptop and went searching for a rug to ‘tie the room together.'
