Chapter Fourteen

Teagan

"ARE YOU SAFE?" I demanded the second I saw Cash's name pop up on my screen. I made my way down the hall and slipped into the bunkroom.

"Yeah, baby. Everyone's safe. Daisy's a little beat up, but she's good. She's in the shower. Are you okay?"

I let out a sigh of relief. "I'm okay now that I know you're okay. Hatch, Booker, and Flea are headed your way."

"I know. Dad texted."

Tears streamed freely down my face. "Does that mean you can come home now?"

"Yeah, baby, soon."

"Are you bringing Daisy with you?"

"Not sure."

I wrinkled my nose. "Well, if she doesn't want to come back with you, don't argue with her."

"What do you mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean," I pressed. "If she wants to stay with Huck, do not give her any grief."

"Teagan—"

"Cash, seriously. If anything like that happened to me, you would be the only one I'd want. Not my dad, not Gray, not my sisters, not even my mom. You."

He sighed. "I'll take that into consideration."

"That means bupkis," I sassed.

"It means, I'll think about it."

"Mm-hmm. Bup… kis."

"Someone's knocking on my door, I gotta go."

"Okay. Love you."

"Love you, too."

He hung up and I dropped my face into my hands. The door to the bunkroom opened, and my mom popped her head in. "They found Daisy, she's safe."

I waved my phone in the air as I stood. "Cash just called."

"Then why do you look… irked?"

"Because I have a feeling he's going to steamroll Daisy and keep her from Huck."

Mom smiled. "If Huck's the man Daisy needs, he won't let that happen."

"If Daisy's the woman Huck needs, she'll smack her brother right upside the head," I countered.

Mom chuckled. "That too."

I slid into Mom's hug and let her hold me for a few minutes.

"Are you hungry?" she asked. "Maisie's cooking."

"Oh, if Maisie's cooking, then, yes."

"I'm not sure how to take that."

I grinned. "I love your cooking too, but she's like, I don't know, Martha Stewart on crack."

Mom sighed. "No, I get it. I really do."

We headed out to the great room to find food already starting to be set out for dinner.

I was informed I'd have to wait another two weeks for Cash to come home. I was not a happy camper and voiced my opinion to both Hatch and Booker when they walked in the door of the shop two days later.

"Teagan," Hatch greeted as they made their way behind the desk.

"Where's Cash?"

"He's hangin' with Razor for a bit," Booker said, kissing my cheek.

"What? Why?" I snapped. "Why is he not with you?"

"Baby girl," Hatch warned, glancing around the full lobby.

I huffed, grabbing his arm, and dragging him into the parts room. I was honestly a little surprised he followed.

"What do you need, sweetheart?"

"I need my man back," I said, closing the door.

"He'll be home when he's home."

I let out a frustrated groan. "Uncle Hatch, I need him home now. There's gotta be someone else who can go in his place. Archer, maybe?"

"That's not how this works, Teagan."

I bit back tears. "Well, it should be."

He crossed his arms and studied me for a few tense seconds.

"What?"

"I might be persuaded to give you a few days off so you can go to him."

I gasped. "Really?"

"Yeah. If it's okay with Booker and your dad, then I'll approve it."

I threw myself into his arms. "Thank you! I'll go ask them right now."

He gave me one of his signature bear hugs and then I rushed out of the room.

Cash picked me up from the airport, pulling me into his arms for an almost R-rated kiss. "Hey."

"Hi," I breathed out.

"I can't believe Hatch let you come," he said, grabbing my bag.

"It was really Maisie who put it in the books."

Maisie used to run a multi-million dollar sex toy company and had sold it back when she and Hatch first got together. She'd made a mint and didn't need the money, but Hatch had convinced her to help out on the personnel side of the shop because they needed her expertise (she was a natural with people), and he said her bein' at the club with him meant he'd be a gentler, kinder man. We all knew that was bullshit, because the second he'd met her, she rounded out his rough edges, and he was who he was with or without her there. The truth was he missed her when she wasn't with him twenty-four-seven, so she agreed to help out on a temporary basis. That was ten years ago.

"Still, Hatch had to ultimately let you go. So, still surprised he approved it."

"Me too." I smiled up at him. "Although, I do have a shit ton of PTO."

"Yeah, it's not about the time, though, is it?"

I sighed. "No, I know, but I was about to ‘remove his spleen,' so he knew he needed to get me to my man or bring you home."

Cash let out a quiet snort as he took my hand and led me to his rental.

"I could have grabbed a car, honey. You didn't need to come."

He stalled and glared at me. "Are you purposely trying to piss me off?"

I grinned wide. "Will it get me punished?"

"Jesus," he hissed, his hand sliding to my neck as he tugged me forward and kissed me again. "Get your ass in the truck."

He pulled open the door and I climbed inside. He placed my bag in the back, then we headed to the hotel.

After parking, Cash grabbed my bag, walking up two flights of stairs and down two doors before he stopped to unlock the door next to the ice machine. Once inside, Cash locked the door, dropped my bag on the floor, then his lips were on mine, and my clothes were being ripped from my body.

"Careful," I warned. "I only brought a few clothes. If you keep tearing fabric, I'll have nothing to wear."

His mouth moved to my neck. "I'm okay with that."

I chuckled. "I will have to leave the room, clothed, at some point and don't want to be brought up on indecent exposure charges, so slow your roll there, big man."

"I plan to keep you naked for the duration of your stay here, Turtle, so the faster you remove your clothing, the faster you protect said clothing."

I didn't hesitate, removing everything and dropping it onto the floor.

He grinned. "Good girl."

I shivered, licking my lips as I waited for him to do the same. Once he was naked, I couldn't stop myself from kneeling before him.

"Teagan," he growled.

"Hush," I admonished, glancing up at him. "I want this, Cash. I've been away from you for days, nay, weeks!" I threw the back of my hand dramatically to my forehead. "I need it."

He chuckled and ran his fingers over my cheek. "Have at it, beautiful."

I wrapped my lips around his already hard cock and took him deep, so deep, my eyes started to water, but I couldn't stop myself from relishing the feel of his size filling me, and when he began to fuck my mouth, I gripped his thigh with one hand, using my other to work his length as I took him further to the back of my throat.

"Fuck," he breathed out as his hands gripped my scalp. "I'm gonna come, baby, you want me to pull out?"

I shook my head, sucking a little harder.

It wasn't long before his legs stiffened, and I felt warmth in the back of my throat as his dick pulsed in the palm of my hand. I sucked gently until I'd milked every ounce of cum out of him and then he lifted me off my feet and dropped me onto the bed, burying his face between my legs. It was now my turn to weave my fingers into his hair as his tongue swirled around my clit and his fingers played havoc on my pussy as he got me ready for his cock. I arched into him, whimpering with need, until finally, fucking finally, he was inside of me. He leaned down and kissed me, linking his fingers with mine and dragging my hands above my head as he rocked into me gently. "I love you."

"I love you, too," I rasped.

The second I said the words, he made love to me. Slowly, sweetly, reverently. Like I was oxygen and the absolute reason he breathed at all.

"Okay, I have to say, as much as I like a good spanking, that was nice too," I admitted when Cash pulled me over his chest.

He grinned, kissing my nose. "Oh, you're gonna get spanked, baby, but I needed you to know just how much I missed you first."

I stroked his cheek. "Same. I think we need to make a rule."

"Oh yeah?"

"A separation limit." I ran my finger over his Dogs of Fire tattoo on his chest. "No more than two days away from each other."

"And how do you propose we do that?"

I shrugged. "Haven't figured that part out yet."

He chuckled. "Well, if you can figure out how to make that happen, I'm all for it."

I sighed. "I just need to figure out how to make Hatch more afraid of me. He's way too secure in his man-ness for me to fuck with him. Same with your dad. And mine, for that matter."

Cash laughed. "Jesus, woman, you're fuckin' with the wrong club. You get that right?"

"I know." I bit my lip. "You're all a little too smart for your own good."

"A little too smart to get one over on, you mean?"

"Tomato, tomahto."

Cash grinned. "Exactly."

I kissed him, running my tongue over his pulse. "Now that I've feasted on you, what's around here to actually eat? Is there a diner or anything?"

"Yeah, baby, not far from here."

"How about you fuck me dirty in the shower, then feed me?"

"It's barely three o'clock," he pointed out. "Are we eating like geriatrics?"

I cocked my head. "Do you think they have a separate menu for old people?"

"Like an early bird special?"

"Yeah, that! Take me for old people dinner."

Cash kissed me. "I can do that."

"Excellent."

We stepped into the bathroom where he did, in fact, fuck me dirty, then we headed to the diner for our version of the early bird special.

* * *

My phone buzzed and I saw it was Daisy calling. Again. I looked at Cash and bit my lip. "We need to tell her."

He dipped a fry in ketchup as he said, "Yeah."

"We need to do it face-to-face."

"Name the time and place, Turtle."

"Tonight. Here?"

"Here, here?" he asked.

"Well, no," I said. "Not sure my stomach could handle this diner again today. But maybe we could meet somewhere else tonight?"

Cash nodded to my phone. "Answer her."

I took a deep breath, then picked up my phone.

"Oh, my god, bitch, I thought you were dead in a ditch," Daisy screeched into the phone.

I grimaced. "Sorry. I've been… ah… well… on a plane."

"On a plane? To where?"

"Um, here. Montana."

"You're here?"

"Yes. Currently sitting at a diner with your brother."

"Which diner? I'm coming to you."

"Dais—"

"Tell me where you are right now," she demanded. "I'm not taking no for an answer."

I sighed and asked Cash, "Where are we?"

Cash pulled out his phone and fired off a text. "I just texted her the address."

"Cash just texted you."

"Okay, do not move," Daisy bossed, then hung up.

I set my phone on the table. "I guess we are doing it here and now. She's on her way."

"You okay?"

"No," I admitted.

"Why?"

"Because she's going to kill me. You. Us."

Cash frowned. "She's not going to kill us."

"She will. I've been keeping this secret for months. You're her big brother. I'm her best friend. I should have told her the second I caught feelings for you." I groaned. "I feel like I'm having to choose."

"You don't have to choose."

I flopped deeper into the booth. "Feels like it."

"Don't borrow trouble."

"Easy for you to say. Regardless of what happens, you won't lose either of us. I have the potential to lose one or both of you."

"You're not losing either of us, baby, sure as hell not me."

I nodded but wasn't convinced.

Daisy and Huck arrived about twenty minutes later and Daisy pulled me into a bear hug that was uncharacteristic for my best friend. She was a hugger, but not a hugger.

"I have been worried sick," she admonished.

"Hi Pot, I'm Kettle," I sassed.

"Okay, well, you may have a point," she said as she hugged Cash.

Huck smiled and gave me a quick hug as well, then we shifted places in the booth, so Huck and Daisy were next to each other, and Cash and I were across from them.

"What are you doing here?" Daisy asked. "You didn't need to come, you know."

"Um, well…"

"Spit it out, Turtle," Cash said.

"Maybe you could help me out a little," I hissed.

Daisy's eyes widened. "What's going on?"

I sighed. "There's something I need… ah, we need to tell you and I'm scared to death."

"You? You're afraid of nothing," Daisy argued. "What are you talking about?"

"We're together."

Daisy smiled. "I see that."

"No, honey, we're together. Like, together. We're in love."

Her eyes darted between us and then she frowned. "You're in love with my brother?"

"Yes."

"Cash?"

"Yes," I confirmed.

"Cash Warren Carver." She pointed at Cash. "That Cash. Evil personified. Your words, by the way, T."

Cash chuckled beside me.

"Okay, I said that once," I said, glancing at him. "And in my defense, you were being extra dicky."

"Probably," he conceded.

"Yes, Ducky, that Cash," I said. "Your brother. And yes, our dads know, and no, my dad didn't castrate him, although, it was touch and go for a minute." I grimaced. "Do you hate me?"

A scowl settled on her face before quickly turning into the biggest shit-eating grin I'd ever seen. "I knew it!"

"What?" I squeaked. "You did not."

"No, I didn't, but I knew something was up," she admitted. "And now you get to be my real sister."

"We're not married, Ducky," Cash reminded her.

"Oh, you're going to marry her," Ducky warned. "Or Mack really will castrate you for taking her V-card."

"Daisy!" I groaned, dropping my head to the table.

"You'll make an honest woman out of my best friend, or I'll cut your dick off."

"Jesus," Huck hissed.

I raised my head and glared at her. "Thanks for sharing all that with the whole class, Daisy."

"You're welcome." She grinned. "Next time, you'll tell me everything. Immediately or the consequences will be worse."

I leaned against Cash. "Told you she'd be pissed."

Cash wrapped an arm around me and pulled me close. "Daisy won't do shit. Will you, Ducky?"

Plucking a fry off his plate, she narrowed her eyes and shrugged. "Remember, I know how to hack your computer."

"But she won't," Huck rushed to say. "Because she's not vindictive like that, right, baby?"

She popped the fry into her mouth and chewed, not answering the question.

"Jesus," Huck said again.

Cash just chuckled. "Love you, Ducky."

"Love you too, Cashy." She smiled at me. "But I love you more."

"Love you, too. Even though I'm a little afraid of you right now," I admitted.

"As it should be."

We spent the next two hours catching up before Cash took me back to the hotel and fucked me dirty again. Suddenly all was right with the world again.
