EPILOGUE

T he film crew cleared out a week ago, and I was officially done. I'd talked to Stefan and the studio, both of whom were sick of Monica's bullshit. The studio ultimately decided to let her finish out her contracted movies, knowing the drama associated with her would get them free publicity. There's a reason they say there's no such thing as bad publicity, after all.

Stefan, on the other hand, wasn't any happier than I was. He, too, decided to jump ship, so it'll be interesting to see what the next few movies will be like without him. To say G was pissed with the way it played out would be an understatement, but I didn't let it bother me. At the end of the day, I have G. She doesn't. So, I win.

That didn't stop G from tearing her life to shreds and putting it all out there for the world to see. He posted the footage of her admitting she faked the whole photo thing and shared the pictures of her fucking Matt. The cast and crew members spread how she faked having a stalker, deliberately putting me in danger. When the cliff camera footage was leaked, the world took sides. Let's just say Monica's side was a lot lonelier than mine.

"What are you doing out here on your own?"

I jump when G sits down on the sofa beside me.

"Woolgathering."

"Huh?"

"I was just thinking of the craziness that's been our life for the last few months."

He groans and kicks his feet up on the table before pulling me into his lap. "Don't remind me. I say we run away together and live off the grid in a remote cabin somewhere."

"Okay, first off, nothing good ever happens in a remote cabin in the woods. Second, no Nevaeh. And third, no internet."

He pauses, considering. "Alright, you might have a point."

"Think the worst of it is over now?"

"Some of it will die down now that the cast and crew are moving on. I don't mind most of them, but I won't miss having them here. I won't admit it to Blade, but I fucking hated having them here at Ravens' Nest."

"Don't worry, your secret's safe with me. At least they paid well, right?"

"That was the only silver lining," he grumbles.

"Aw, poor baby." I shift my position so I'm straddling him and wrap my arms around his neck, leaning down to kiss him as his hands slide up my thighs to my hips.

"Has there been anything on the other chapter of Raven Souls?"

"You know I can't talk about club business, baby."

"And I'm not asking you to. I just want to know if I'm safe or if I need to worry."

"Nothing is going to happen to you, Amity."

"You don't know that, G. We've both learned the hard way that shit happens. I just want to know if I need to be preparing for the worst."

He sighs. "It's been too quiet. We're all just waiting for the other shoe to drop. The good news is, they don't know you had anything to do with what went down with Acid and Knuckles. They might suspect the club had something to do with their disappearances, but not you."

"So what you're saying is, be careful, but I don't need to trade in my RV for an armored truck just yet?"

He grins against my lips. "Exactly."

I kiss him again, enjoying the peace of it just being us for a change.

"Move in with me."

I pull back and look at him. "Say that again?"

"I want you to move in with me. I want your clothes in my closet, your toothbrush in my bathroom, and your pussy wrapped around my cock each night."

"What about Nevaeh?"

"I'll talk to Havoc and see if she can park the RV behind the clinic. But I don't think he'll mind."

"What is going on between those two? Don't think I haven't noticed the looks they keep giving each other."

"Tell me you'll move in with me."

I rest my forehead on his. "So, Nevaeh and Havoc?"

"Nope, not going there. Nevaeh's a big girl. And something tells me if anyone can handle Havoc, it's her."

I grin, thinking about how badly my bestie is going to fuck up Havoc's world in all the best possible ways. This is going to be so much fun to watch

I sigh feeling content. "I love you, G."

"Fuck, I really am the lucky one," G growls. "And I love the shit out of you too baby."
