Link

E verything was perfect, and as I drove away from Erik and Sam's I hoped Andy hadn't figured out more than he already knew. At first, I'd wanted to surprise him with the wedding, but Blair shot that down as soon as I shared my idea.

"Do you want to give him a heart attack? I mean really, Link. He loves you but my god that's a huge thing to throw at anyone," she'd said, and she had reminded me again today. I could always count on Blair to give it to me straight, even when I didn't want to hear it. The truck rumbled along the gravel road just as the sun was setting. I snuck a peek at my phone but didn't see any new messages. I hoped that meant Andy had been busy all day and he wasn't waiting to see me in person to tell me exactly how he felt about me sending his dad to keep him occupied.

It only took a few more minutes for me to pull up to the house. Andy's car was in its usual space, and the lights were on inside, so I took a deep breath and slid out of the truck. As soon as I opened the door the smell of tomatoes and garlic hit my senses.

"It's about time you remembered where you live," Andy said, repeating what his mom used to say to him every time he stayed out too late. "Wash up, dinner's almost ready."

The kitchen was a mess, the same way it was every time Andy cooked, but I didn't have it in me to care, I was just happy there was food ready. "Thanks for cooking, what's for dinner?" I asked as I washed my hands in the kitchen sink.

"Spaghetti and garlic bread. I haven't had it in ages, and it sounded good."

"How did today go?" I asked and braced for his reaction. Warm arms surrounded me from behind and he kissed my neck.

"It was good. The guy who owns the tux store remembered me from when I rented a tux for the prom." Andy chuckled and rested his cheek against my shoulder. "I wish you were there though."

"Yeah, sorry about that—" I started before he spun me around to face him.

"It's okay. I know you were doing whatever you needed to do at Sam and Erik's. I wouldn't have minded helping, but I love the idea of seeing it for the first time, all ready to go, tomorrow." His eyes shone with excitement, and it was easy to see he meant every word. I could finally relax then, knowing he was happy made all my worries melt away.

"I wanted you to get to relax today and not have to worry about anything, but I was worried you'd be mad at me for sending you off with Darren." My hand automatically found his, and for a moment we held each other close. I'd never get enough of feeling his body against my own. I'd craved his touch for what felt like my whole life, and now anytime I reached for him, he reached for me, every single time.

"I did. At first, I was confused why you weren't there, but it was nice going with Dad. We went to lunch afterward at a new place over by the fairgrounds. He decided it might be better than the old drive-in. I can't remember the last time he and I did anything with just the two of us. Are you sure there's nothing I can do to help for tomorrow?" Andy asked again.

"Just meet me at the top of the aisle tomorrow at three." His smile told me how happy that made him.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world," he whispered and leaned in for a kiss. His tongue pressed at my lips, and it didn't take long for me to be uncomfortably hard. I pressed my hand against his back and ground against him.

"How do you make me want you so bad all the time? You put some kind of spell on me, Andy," I whispered against his ear.

"I think it was you that put me under a spell. There will never be anyone who will mean more to me than you do. When we're not together I crave your touch. It's all you, Link, and it always has been you."

I looked over his shoulder at the pasta and sauce that were ready to go. "Mind if we turn off the heat and take this to the bedroom?"

He leaned back enough to meet my eyes before reaching down, unbuttoning my pants, and sliding them down to my knees. "What if I can't wait long enough for that?" He knelt below me and took me into his mouth. He took me as deep as he could and swirled his tongue in the way he knew drove me crazy and made it hard for me to last long.

I sucked in a deep breath and gripped his hair. "You keep that up and this'll be over too soon." He looked up at me but continued. My eyes slid shut and my hips moved. He slurped and swallowed and before I knew it, I was ready to shoot. He knew the exact moment I realized it and not only doubled down on his efforts but grabbed my ass and pulled me closer to him and gave me no chance to hold back.

"Uh, Andy," I groaned just before I released down his throat. He swallowed everything I gave him and stood with a self-satisfied grin before leaning in to kiss me.

"Love you, babe. Now go get cleaned up so we can eat," he said while I tried to force my brain back to reality.

"I need to take care of you," I finally managed to mumble.

"And you will. After we go to bed, but for now, I want to feed my future husband his dinner before it gets cold." He took out plates from the cabinet like he hadn't just rocked my world, and I stumbled off to the bathroom pulling up my jeans as I went. I was relaxed and happy, and realized this would be our life.

When I caught my reflection in the mirror I had to stop for a moment and stare at what I saw. The lonely man who thought he'd never marry the man of his dreams was gone. All I saw now was the lucky asshole staring back at me that had everything he'd ever wanted and was about to make it official.

"Link, come on, it's ready," Andy yelled from the kitchen, making me smile.

"I'll be right there," I said just loud enough for him to hear and knew deep down I'd always be there for him when he called whether it was for dinner or to help with a project, no matter what, and he'd be there for me.
