Epilogue
Six Months Later
Andy
" H ow has it been six months?" I asked Link for the hundredth time.
"Time flies when you're having fun." He grinned at me from where he sat in the passenger seat. "How long do you think it'll take us to get there?"
We hadn't gone on a honeymoon after we were married, mostly because neither of us had thought that far ahead. When we talked about getting married before we actually got married, we just talked about the ceremony. Now both of us finally had time to take a week off without worrying about crops or appointments. Link laid his head back on the headrest and closed his eyes.
"I could get used to this," he said making me laugh.
"Yeah, for about a week. I know you, after that you'll be more than ready to get back to work."
He glanced at me and smiled before settling his hand on my leg. "How long do you think it'll take to get there?" he asked again.
"Around two hours, but it's a nice drive." We'd decided to go to the Tahoe area for a week. I'd rented us a cabin right on the lake with a private dock so we could have lots of privacy while still being close enough to go out to dinner if we wanted. Plus, we could take Rudy with us. Neither of us were ready for kids nor were we sure we wanted them. But we were more than happy to adopt a dog. And that's how we ended up with Rudy. He'd been at one of the local shelters, and Link couldn't help but go look once we'd decided to adopt.
"We can handle that, right, Rudy?" he said before reaching back to give him a good scratch. He was a grey and white cattle dog, and probably twenty other breeds, but he was a good boy and we both loved him. During the day he helped Link at the farm, and at night he cuddled with us on the couch.
"I think all those rides to the ranch have paid off. He loves going for a ride." I glanced at him in the rearview mirror to find him already looking in my direction with a doggy grin on his face.
"Yes, his daddy has spoiled him rotten," I said and gave Link a hard look that he promptly ignored.
"He's a good boy, he deserves all the treats."
"I think I deserve the treats too," I mumbled making him laugh again.
He leaned over to my side and whispered so close I could feel his breath. "I can think of a few treats I'd like to give you." His hand wandered up and gripped me, and of course my fucking dick took notice immediately. It had a connection straight to anything Link.
"Unless you want me to pull over right here you need to save that for when we get there." He must have known I was serious because with a chuckle, he pulled his hand back to his own side of the car.
My mind went to the night before and how his tongue in my hole had me so on edge I didn't think I could wait until he had his dick buried in me. But just like always, he knew the exact moment that would give me the most mind-blowing ecstasy again and again. Sex with Link had always been great. But since we'd been married, he held nothing back, and more times than not it was him that played my body like it was an instrument he alone knew how to play, and he was an expert.
"What are you thinking about?" he asked, always aware.
"Nothing." I smirked at him.
"Last night? When I put my tongue—"
"Stop! Seriously, Link, you don't know how bad I want to say fuck it and go back home," I said, with just an edge of panic, and maybe a little more excitement in my voice. I pressed down on my dick and hoped for more control than I presently had. I drew in a shaky breath, and he once again patted my leg. I looked over again to see him wearing a very self-satisfied grin. "Well, you don't have to be so cocky about it."
"I love the fact that I can still drive my husband crazy," he said, not feeling guilty at all.
"Do you think it'll always be like this between us?" I asked, knowing I'd want him until we were old and grey.
"I think we're going to live a long and happy life together full of love and soooo much sex. Because like I told you on our wedding day, I will never get enough of you."
I smiled and reached for his hand before kissing the back of it and setting it back on my leg. "Always remember, I love you, Link Lawson." And I always would.
