CHAPTER 11

CHAPTER 1 1

Perfect

V rixiel had a new favorite activity: teasing his niela . He had taken a risk by ordering these peculiar dishes for their first dinner, but he was a teaser by nature. What better way to show that to his female and see if she liked it?

Judging by her pleased noises as she chewed, Trixie loved beans as much as he did. Mission accomplished.

Without the need for words, they began feeding each other. His favorite dish relished together with the female of his dreams – he was in Gaenthian heaven.

“So, tell me,” she spoke in between the spoonfuls, “how does one get groceries around here? Do you guys have some sort of farmland on the station? Or is everything delivered from Earth and other planets within the Intergalactic Alliance?”

Vrixiel put another spoon of beans in her delectable mouth before replying. “We get regular deliveries, mostly from Terra but sometimes from Gaenthia as well. We do not grow food here. We do have the Arboretum, but that serves as a public garden and recovery center for soldiers with wing injuries. I’ll take you there for a proper flight in my arms.”

“Oh yes, I’d like that.” Trixie fed him some more. “And cooking? Do you prep your own dishes by hand, in a food replicator, or…?”

“The cabins are not equipped with individual replicators, I’m afraid. This is, above all, a military station. The mess hall is the place to go for replicated food, which you can eat there or bring home. You can choose between what’s on offer for the day, or replicate a dish of your choice. They have top-notch replicators, unlike on the Venus station.”

Trixie nodded during his explanation. “You made this dinner for me in the mess hall, then?”

“Everything but the beans. Those I cooked here in the ways of old,” Vrixiel admitted with pride. Not that he could prepare much else in the cabin’s small kitchen… An idea hit him. “Can you cook, niela ? In the old ways? I understand you cannot stay standing for long, but how about a quick meal?”

“I can whip something up that is not poisonous.” She left her spoon in the half-empty bowl he was holding. “Why? Do you have something in mind? ”

He smiled. “Would you like to cook with me? On my days off? We could learn from each other.”

Her answering smile was brilliant. “We could try.” Resuming feeding him, she reasoned, “I have to know how to cook at least one traditional Gaenthian dish. Something to impress your parents with.”

“Hmm.” He didn’t want to think about the obligatory presentation of his niela to the whole clan. Which happened to include the King. Vrixiel wanted no other males’ eyes on his female. “Do not worry about the clan ball during our honeymate.”

“Wait. There’s a clan ball?” She gaped. “And what do you mean by ‘don’t worry during the honeymate’? Should I be worried after?”

Vrixiel winced inside. “It is but a formality. The way of my clan. But it is not something I look forward to.” It was a tradition rooted in politics: each new blessing by the Goddess in the form of a niela had to be flaunted as evidence of the clan being worthy of the King’s court. And Vrixiel wanted nothing to do with politics.

He took Trixie’s free hand in his. “Please, bean, do not worry about it. That’s four days of travel one way, and I will not subject you to that until the clan sends a ship with a cabin equipped for your health needs.” He pressed a kiss to her knuckles. “No need to think about the ball yet. Let us focus on the ten days we have here, alone in our new home. ”

The corners of her lips turned up. “Where you want to keep me all to yourself, I remember… Okay. I’ll try not to worry about what comes after the honeymate. But tell me,” she laced her fingers with his, “how will you keep me entertained for ten days, niel ?”

He smirked. “Books.”

Her eyebrows shot up in a way Vrixiel was beginning to find endearing. “Books?”

He released her hand to again hold her comfortably around the waist. “Reading is one of your hobbies, is it not? Your ASI file said so.”

“Ah… Well, yes, I enjoy reading. Do you love books yourself? I honestly thought you got those paperbacks for me.”

He followed the direction of her gaze to the shelves floating by the wall behind the couch. “These are my comfort reads. I tend to buy my favorite horror stories in print, like my ancestors did. However, I haven’t read anything for months now. I’ve been too busy.”

“Oh no.”

“But we could read together now.” Vrixiel was happy to see his excitement at the idea reflected in her eyes. “I’ll order all the print books you desire delivered from Terra. It takes a while, but they arrive eventually.”

“You want us to read together?”

“Yes? ”

“Vrixiel, the books I read…” Trixie gave him an uncertain look. “They’re romance novels. Love stories. The focus is on emotions and naughty moments.”

Emotions? That was scary enough for his tastes. As for the intimate scenes… “All the better.”

“How so?” Her surprise was evident.

“I will learn what you enjoy. We could try out what we’re reading. Would you like that?”

The doubt in Trixie’s eyes made way for a delighted glint. “Very, very much. Would you?”

“Yes.” Vrixiel wanted to discover all of his niela ’s fantasies and make them come true. He was certain they would match with most – if not all – of his.

But first… He put the now empty bowl on the table.

Trixie ignored the bowl, focused entirely on him. The intoxicating scent of her blossoming arousal charged the air between them. This amazing female wanted him. Trusted him to give her what she needed.

And Vrixiel would. With what the Goddess had given him upon birth or the mating toys he had purchased, he would not disappoint his niela . Starting by not keeping his secret from her any longer.

Vrixiel gently helped her off his lap and onto the couch. Then he moved the table to the side, got up and put his hands on the towel around his waist.

Trixie took him in, eyes half-lidded with desire.

“This is it, niela . My secret… My fear. ”

“Oh?”

He didn’t leave her wondering for long. Didn’t hesitate. He ripped the towel right off, bearing himself completely.

“Oh.” She blinked, clearly shocked. “Oooh. You’re… And you’re…”

“Yes. This is it.”

Vrixiel was anxiously cataloging every reaction of hers. Her rounded eyes, her open mouth, her quickened breathing. When her lips began to curl up, both his hearts squeezed. She would start laughing any second now. It always happened, be it behind his back or not.

Trixie didn’t burst into laughter. She licked her lips and met his gaze, unmistakable satisfaction in her eyes.

“ Niela? ”

“You have a small cock.”

Vrixiel nodded solemnly.

“It is thick and pierced.”

“With three piercings only, yes.” He was that small. That was why the remaining two piercings every male in his clan received upon adulthood had to go in his nipples.

“Let me get this straight.” Trixie rubbed her thighs together. “You have a small but thick cock with a Jacob’s Ladder. I’m a little person. And you worry you don’t have a monster in your pants?”

He opened then closed his mouth, at a loss for words.

“Aw, boo bear.” Trixie patted the couch next to her. “Come here. Let me show you my opinion on what you’re packing. ”

Vrixiel had no clue what boo bear meant, but he would take it as a good sign since Trixie wanted him next to her. “Aren’t you disappointed?”

She climbed onto his lap the moment he sat down. “What does this tell you?”

“The ladies I’ve been with all said I lacked–”

Trixie stopped him with a kiss. That got him listening.

“Forget about other women,” she said fiercely, “because I will be your only lady from now on. And this lady finds you perfect.” Her tone and fiery gaze brooked no argument. “No more fear, niel . Only pleasure.”
