Dispatch: 911, what is the location of the emergency?

Caller: I’m at the Grizzly Grocery. I think they’re getting robbed!

Dispatch: Are you inside the store?

Caller: No, I’m in the parking lot. The front door’s all busted in!

Dispatch: Okay, I need you to stay where you are, ma’am. Can I get your name, please?

Caller: Brenda, Brenda Lake.

Dispatch: Brenda, can you describe—

Caller: Oh shoot, there goes Dale. Whiter than a sheet! Dale! Dale! You all right? [ unintelligible ] Shit, ma’am, did you hear that? I think they got wild animals in there or something.

Dispatch: Do you see an animal?

Caller: No, but I can hear it!

Dispatch: What does it sound like, Brenda?

Caller: Hang on. [ pause ] Oh boy, oh dear, I got chills! It sounds like—it sounds like wolves .
