Chapter 29

We arrived in Paris last night. Even though we are all dead tired, I made them take the scenic route. Seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up was one of my dreams. I'm excited that we're here for a few days so I can really enjoy the city.

It's been two weeks since London and while my head is better, the guys' need to be at my side all the time hasn't lessened.

Not that I mind. I've come to love having them near, one of them always needing to touch me in some way. Cuddling, hand holding, an arm around my waist or shoulder. I'm becoming a spoiled omega, and I don't hate it.

Trying to find time alone with each of them has been hard. Anytime Calvin and I have a moment, Zane is right there starting up with his possessive bullshit. I will be making the two of them sit down and hash this shit out soon before I lose my mind.

Ireland was so beautiful, and I told the guys I wanted to come back again someday when we can spend more time enjoying the scenery.

I'm not going to lie, I've been enjoying the bus a lot more than the private plane. We've been able to make stops and truly just enjoy ourselves in between shows.

"You guys ready?" Calvin asks, stepping into the hotel room.

"Let's just get this over with," Zane mutters.

"What's up his ass?" Calvin asks me, pulling me into his arms as Zane slips into the bathroom.

Before I can answer, Everett does for me. "He's pissed that everyone is going to know about Jade. He isn't happy about sharing her with the world."

"It's because now the paps are going to be up our asses, all the time. And I will not be above slamming their faces in if they hurt my omega," Zane snarls as he steps out of the bathroom.

They all look delicious today. Hair styled, tattoos on display. I don't even realize I'm biting my lip and staring until Zane chuckles. "Trouble."

"Huh?" I ask, blinking up at him.

"Keep eye fucking us like that, and I'll just lock us all up in this hotel room."

"Okay." I grin.

"No, not okay," Calvin grunts. "We have work today. Work first, play later."

"All work, no play makes Calvin an uptight prick," Zane teases as he passes his brother.

"Asshole," Calvin mutters.

I just sigh, shaking my head. I look up at the older, sexy alpha. "Hi." I smile.

He looks down at me with heated eyes. "Hi, Darling," he murmurs in a low, husky tone that has my perfume going wild, making all four of them growl.

That doesn't stop Calvin from cupping the back of my head and pressing me against the wall while he kisses me deeply.

"So we can't stay and have sex, but you can dry hump her against the wall like a horny teenager?" Zane drawls.

Calvin pulls back, pupils wide, lips wet from our kisses. "Killjoy he is."

I laugh, my cheeks heating. "Come on, big guy. Let's go get that press conference over with, and then we can enjoy Paree," I say the last word in my best French accent.

"That's not fair. How come when you speak in an accent it's sexy, but when I do it, I get banned?" Griffin mutters. "Maybe my French accent is better than my British."

"Alright then," I challenge him with a smirk. "Let's hear what you got."

He smiles brightly. "Okay," he agrees. "But I only know one saying. No idea what it means though." He clears his throat. "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?"

I roll my lips together and bite down as the others chuckle. Griffin looks around confused. "Oh, come on! It wasn't bad."

"No, that actually sounded kind of sexy." I wink as we exit the room and head toward the elevator.

"Really?" he preens. "Nice."

When we get in and the doors close, I look up at him and grin. "The answer is yes, by the way," I tell Griffin.

"Yes to what?" he asks me, blinking.

"To your question before."

"I didn't ask anything." He looks confused, and I giggle.

"Yes, you did." Zane laughs as we get to the bottom floor. "And I can speak for Everett and me, our answer is yes too." He winks.

"Wait," Griffin huffs. "What was the question? I don't even know what I said!"

"You"re not going to tell him, are you?" Calvin asks with an amused grin.

"Nope," I reply cheerfully. "And neither are the two of you," I tell Everett and Zane.

"That"s just mean!" Griffin pouts.

"Be a good alpha and I'll tell you later." I wink as we all get into the black SUV waiting to take us downtown.

WE ARRIVE AT THE VENUEfifteen minutes later. We're dropped off at the back of the building, cop cars and security making sure it's safe.

Calvin holds my hand as we walk through the building to where the conference is being held.

"Good, good, you"re here." A woman with black hair tied up in a bun and a black business suit comes rushing over. "Come with me, I'll get you up to speed."

"You got her?" Zane asks Calvin.

"Always do," Calvin answers.

Zane hesitates, looking at me for a moment before diving forward for a quick kiss. "Be good," he warns before taking off with the woman.

A spike of jealousy fills me, and Calvin wraps his arm around me, holding me tight. "No need to be jealous, Darling," he chuckles.

"I'm not," I mutter, lying.

Calvin just grins. "That"s Jordan, the band"s PR manager. She's just going to make sure the guys know what to say and what not to say, so that the reporters don't spin this in their favor. At least not too much."

I nod. "So, what are we going to do?"

"Hang back and watch, I guess. We don't want you visible, that will have them hounding you with questions. And I'd rather not have that right now."

"Yeah, I don't want that." I lean into his touch.

The room is packed when we slip backstage. All three guys are seated with mics in front of them and Jordan standing next to them.

Jordan says a few words, pretty much stating that the guys now have an omega, that it's new and they wanted to keep things to themselves as long as they could before life intervened.

"Now, we will open up the room for questions," Jordan announces.

The room breaks out into a cacophony of voices, and my stomach swoops, nerves filling me.

"What is your omega's name?" one asks.

"Jade," Zane grunts.

"How did you meet her?" another reporter questions.

"Childhood friend," Everett answers.

"Why her? Why do you want an omega now in the middle of a world tour?"

"Because she's our omega," Griffin responds.

They're answers are short and to the point.

"If they ramble, it makes it more likely the reporters can trip them up in their words." Calvin leans in to whisper that fact in my ear when he senses their lack of emotion when answering the questions is bothering me.

I nod and keep watching from the shadows.

They go on to ask some generic questions. A few about the London concert and the woman that I saved, a few about the tour before it's brought back to me.

"Have you cemented the bond?" one asks. "Does she bear your bite mark?"

"Not yet," Zane answers.

"Why is that? Do you not plan on keeping her?"

"Yes, we do," Zane states, his tone growing more irritated.

"Does she not want to bond with you three?" he counters.

There"s a pause as the three of them look at each other.

"Ahh..." Everett starts but another reporter swoops in.

"Is her lack of commitment because she's only using you for money?"

"What?" Everett sounds surprised. "No, of course not."

"Then why doesn't she want to bond?"

"Is she just a play toy to you?" someone else asks.

"Of course not," Zane snarls.

"Oh, fuck," Calvin sighs. "This isn't going to end well."

They keep berating the guys, and with each question the guys grow more and more pissed. The reporters are loving it. Jordan tries to step in but the guys keep answering. She sighs, looking at them like she's silently pleading with them to shut up.

I know why they're not. They feel the need to defend me. And I fucking love it. But it's going to start causing more harm than good; that is the last thing I want for them. I'm not sure where the impulse comes from, but I step away from Calvin and onto the stage.

Immediately, the cameras start flashing and the voices get louder. The guys look behind them at me, eyes wide. "Can I have that?" I ask Jordan.

"Sure, why not?" she sighs sarcastically. "Not like this can get any worse."

With nervous butterflies in my belly, I take a deep breath. "Hi, everyone. My name is Jade Love. I'm the band"s omega. We've known each other since we were kids. The guys are two years older than me. When they graduated, they left for LA and made something amazing of themselves." I smile over at them, so damn proud. I'm sure to leave out any details that will cause more questions and paint the guys in a bad light.

"Unfortunately, I wasn't able to follow after them as I was still underage. We were best friends then, nothing more. We just grew up in the same foster home." I make it clear so that they don't think they were pursuing an underage person. The guys already mentioned the world knows that they were in the system.

"Life went on and we drifted apart over time. We all had our own lives. But recently, the guys had a show in Vegas where I live. That's where we reconnected. After talking, we realized there was something more between us. They asked me to come on tour with them, and I agreed. This is all new, and we are taking our time to get to know each other again. I love them very much, and cannot wait to have all of their marks on me to make this bond complete. But that is something special and deserves the time to enjoy. With the guys on tour, it's not the right time. But that doesn"t change how we feel. I'm not going anywhere."

"Is it true that you are Calvin Grant's scent match?" a male reporter questions.

It takes me by surprise, and I look back over to Calvin. His face is blank. But the look in his eyes lets me know it's my choice on how to answer.

"Yes." I turn back to the crowd, causing more whispers and mutters to start up. "But that changes nothing. While Calvin might be my alpha, so are these three."

"Are they your scent matches?" another reporter asks.

I look over at the three of them, their bodies are stiff as a board. My brows furrow, but I answer. "No." Why did they react that way to the question? I'm not their scent match, am I? No, they would have told me if I was. They wouldn't keep something like that from me.

"Are you afraid that you will want your scent match more than them?"

"I think we've answered enough questions for now." I smile. "That"s getting a little too personal."

"I agree," Jordan interjects, stepping up next to me to take the mic. "I think that's all for now. Thank you all so much for coming."

We all make our way off the stage as the reporters keep shouting questions.

"Proud of you, Darling," Calvin praises, pulling me into his arms.

"Are you fucking kidding me," Zane snarls. "You let her leave your side, again!"

"Hey!" I get in Zane's face, keeping my voice low so we don't draw any attention. "I'm a big girl. I don't need you all up my ass all of the time. He was right there. If someone tried something, he was right there. And you"re welcome," I huff. "I just saved your asses out there."

"Jade is right," Everett says. "Let's not fight, please."

"Is that all we have to do today?" I ask Calvin, and he nods. "Good, now let's go sightseeing. You can ride my ass while we do that," I sass, turning on my heel and heading back the way we came.

"Oh, Jelly Bean, don't tease me." Griffin chuckles, and my cheeks heat as I keep my head high and continue with my dramatic exit. "I'd love nothing more than to ride that ass."

Fucking hell. Why do I like the idea of that so much? And by the way they all growl, they know it too.

We spend the day walking around, enjoying food, checking out sights, and taking lots of photos. And of course, we hit the Eiffel Tower.

Calvin set up a little picnic for him and me, while making the guys take another spot. Zane hated it, but I loved it. I needed more time alone with Calvin. Yes, we're together all day most days, but it's different. He's more of my bodyguard than anything during those times.

After taking some photos of the Eiffel Tower all lit up, we head back to the hotel.

"I'm just saying, that guy was going to touch her ass, and you did nothing," Zane growls as we move into the lobby.

I sigh, looking over at Everett with tired eyes. He smiles and tucks me under his arm.

"Would you two shut the fuck up already?" Griffin groans. "All you've done was bitch this whole day."

"I wouldn't be bitching if he was taking care of Jade right!"

"I was," Calvin snarls. "It's a busy place, Zane. We were all with her. What more do you want, to shout at everyone to keep ten feet away at all times?"

"I would," he challenges his brother.

"Fuck off," Calvin growls.

My head is pounding, and these two fighting over me has ruined the last half of this night. I'm done.

We get back to the room, and they are still going at it. When we step inside, I turn to Calvin. "Give me your room key," I demand.

He pauses, looking at me confused. "What, why?"

"Give it to me." I'm out of patience now.

He digs into his pocket and pulls it out, placing it in my open palm.

"Good. Now, here"s what"s going to happen. I'm so fucking over the two of you, when it comes to me. I'm with all four of you. We are a pack, we are a damn family, but the two of you? You"re actually a blood family, and you act like each other"s worst enemies. That can't continue. You don't have to be best friends, but you need to get along. So, you two are going to have the heart to heart you so desperately need. You're going to stay in this hotel room until you've talked. We are going to stay in Calvin's room." I point to Griffin and Everett. "And you two are not allowed out of this room until you're on good terms."

"And what if we don't get there?" Zane deadpans.

"No sex," I tell him. "Both of you. No sex until you are. So I'd suggest you get your shit together." I give Zane a smirk. "And that means no sex with the guys either."

He gapes at me like I just told him he's getting the electric chair.

"Oh, you're evil," Griffin chuckles. "I like it!"

"Fuck me," Zane groans.

"Nope, sorry, my omega said I'm not allowed too. Sorry." Griffin gives him a mock pitying look.

Zane just flips him off.

"Bye!" I shout, turning around and leaving with Everett and Griffin.

"Are you being serious?" Everett asks as we head toward Calvin's room.

"As a heart attack."

"Jade, what did I ask you before?" Griffin asks as we enter Calvin's suite.

I grin up at him and wrap my arms around his neck, letting him wrap his around my waist and pull me towards him. "You asked if I'd sleep with you tonight." His eyes widen.

And then he grins. "And you said yes!" he cheers excitedly.

"Just because those two aren't getting any, doesn't mean we can't." I bite my lower lip.

Griffin looks over at Everett. "I'm hungry for a Jade sandwich."

"Me too," Everett growls.

Guess this night isn't going to end badly. Not at all.
