Two weeks…after.

W e’re almost back to normal. We get up. We eat and we drink. We mingle with the brothers and spend time with Darlene.

But mourning sucks and the waves assault Mackenzie at the strangest moments.

In those moments I hold her and I fight her demons with her.

We’ll be okay.

This time, I believe myself.
