Chapter Sixteen

The music in the bar wasn't that loud, but it was karaoke night. Someone butchered a country song about whiskey and women. Greg didn't like the song anyway. The current singer wouldn't change that for him.

Greg guided Brian to the back of the room where Kyler, Isaac, and Neil already sat. He nodded to everyone at the table as he sat.

Jaron plopped on Travis' lap, throwing his arm around the bigger man's shoulders.

Greg sat in the chair, then gently guided Brian onto his lap. He held him in place with a hand on his waist.

At first, Brian didn't put his full weight on him. "Am I too heavy?"

Greg was only a few inches taller than Brian, but he had a little more muscle mass, although not enough that he was bulky. Working on a farm did that to a body.

Brian slid his arm across Greg's shoulders, leaning into him.

A waitress came around and everyone, but Greg, ordered a beer. Greg had water.

"Stop looking at me. You're creeping me out," Brian shouted. For a second, Greg thought Brian had been talking to him, but then Greg followed Brian's line of sight straight to Jaron.

Jaron grinned and gestured for Brian to get closer, which Brian did.

Brian moved his legs so they were parallel with Greg's, leaning forward on the table. "What?"

Greg kept both hands on his waist because he had to touch. He also couldn't help but overhear the conversation.

"How are you?" Jaron shouted.

Brian wiggled around, rubbing his ass on Greg's dick. If it was deliberate, no part of Greg cared. "About ready to call it a night and drag him back to my house." Brian sat up. He clearly didn't know Greg could hear him. "I think I need some time to make sure I'm ready for long term, ya know? Oh, God." Greg gently pulled him down again.

Brian leaned into him, turning so he sat differently. Brian's breath fanned across his face. "You're making me hard."

Yeah, Greg was too, and he had to go up in front of everyone and sing.

Jaron smirked. He turned away from them and buried his face in Travis' neck.

The song finished and Bart, the karaoke DJ, announced that they had a special request.

"Hey, honey. I'm up." Greg lifted Brian onto his feet.

"Wait. What? You're going to karaoke?"

Greg chuckled and kissed him on the cheek as he set Brian back down in the chair. "Not exactly."

Greg took a deep breath to steady his nerves and nodded to Bart. He handed Greg his guitar, and Greg threw the strap over his shoulder. He pulled up a stool and sat down, adjusting the microphone to his current level. "Hi." The microphone squeaked slightly. Greg turned, silently asking Bart to lower the volume. "Sorry. Technical difficulties. Most of you know me. For those that don't, my name is Greg Mitchell. I'm doing something a little different tonight than most of you all. I have a reason for it, though. You see, I'm on a date with the man of my dreams." He smiled at Brian who stared with wide eyes and a little embarrassment. "Like most men, I'm an idiot who didn't tell him straight up how I felt." He heard several people say aww throughout the crowded room. "So I guess I'm going to have to sing to let him know. Let's hope this works the first time." He winked at Brian and began to strum his guitar.

The lights were low except for the spotlight directed onto him. He met Brian's gaze and held it as he sang. He told Brian, he found peace when they were together, and the hope he'd lost somewhere along the way came back when they were together. He told him that he was his everything. And at the end, the last few lines, he closed his eyes, to try to rein in some composure. When he opened them again and saw Brian's face and the tears in his eyes, Greg's emotion spilled out into his words, and he sang, honestly asking how it could be any better than the two of them together. He pleaded with his voice, not censoring himself. He wouldn't even to save himself the heartache, if or when it came.

At the end, the room was silent. For a moment, Greg thought he had fucked it up. Then the clapping and whistles started, and he couldn't hear anything at all. Greg handed his guitar to Bart and walked off the stage. He hadn't noticed while he was singing, but several couples had gotten up to dance. He got halfway across the dance floor when Brian leaped into his arms. It was unexpected. Greg took a couple of steps back to steady them. Greg cupped Brian's ass. He bumped into a someone who were waiting for the next song to start.

He didn't get a chance to apologize when Brian kissed him. He didn't waste any time either. He thrust a tongue between Greg's lips, demanding attention. Greg got a good taste of Brian. He tasted like beer and salty tears and something that was distinctively Brian.

Greg pulled back, searching Brian's eyes, wanting to make sure he was okay. He wanted Brian to want the same things he did. He wanted long term, but he understood that scared Brian.

"Are you singing more songs?" someone asked from behind him.

Greg brought his hands up to Brian's waist, and he took the cue, planting his feet back on the floor again. Greg held him close still, plastering him to his side. It didn't appear that Brian minded being close, if the way he turned into Greg, was any indication.

Greg smiled at the couple standing behind him. "I had planned to sing one more."

"You were awesome, man."

"Thanks." Greg had a difficult time focusing when Brian's lips trailed kisses along the underside of his jaw. "Excuse us for a moment."

Greg grabbed Brian's hand and led him toward the front door. The bartender waved at Greg, trying to get his attention. He held up a finger, and Greg pointed to the door. The bartender turned to talk to the other bartender on duty.

Brian began rubbing his body all over Greg's as if he were a big cat even before they got through the door. It made walking difficult, but he wasn't stupid enough to complain.

Greg pushed Brian up against the side of the bar as soon as they were outside, pressing him into the wooden shingle tiles. He took them far enough that shadows engulfed them.

Greg didn't waste time with words, but kissed Brian, making demands he probably had no right to because Brian still hadn't promised him anything. Greg didn't care. He tasted when Brian opened, running his tongue against the seam of Brian's lips.

Brian moaned and bucked his hips until their cocks crashed into one another.

He was about ready to unbutton his and Brian's pants when he felt a tap on his shoulder. A bucket of ice water poured over his head wouldn't have done such a thorough job of waking him up.

Greg turned his head enough to see who it was. The bartender stood there, wringing his hands and looking around the parking lot as if he were expecting an attack.

"I liked what you did up there. Will you do it more often?"

"Are you serious?"

"As serious as I can get right now with you practically humping Brian Stockwell against my bar."

Brian poked his head out, passed Greg's shoulder. "Hi, Kendrick."

Kendrick chuckled and shook his head. "Hey, Brian. I'd ask how you are, but I see you're doing fine."

"Superb, actually." Brian grinned and buried his face in Greg's neck again.

A car pulled into the parking lot, and Kendrick moved closer to the building. His shoulders came up to his ears.

Something had happened in his past. Greg would bet money on it.

"How's your brother doing?" Brian asked. Greg's skin muffled his voice.

"He's okay. One day at a time." Kendrick shrugged. Greg could tell that he didn't want to make small talk anymore.

Greg decided to let Kendrick off the hook. "Neil and I were going to do one more song tonight. Can I let you know after?"

"Neil?" Both Brian and Kendrick said at the same time, except Brian also added. "…can sing?"

"Yes. Do you mind staying a few more minutes, honey?" he whispered to Brian.

"As long as you promise to let me suck you off in the car."

"Oh, shit. Really?"

Brian nodded. "Hey Kendrick, we'll be right in."

"Don't get arrested for having sex against my bar please."

Brian shimmied away from the press of Greg's body and pulled him along to Greg's truck.

Greg let Brian climb in first and watched as he settled against the passenger door. His hands shook as he unbuttoned his jeans. Once he climbed in and shut the door behind him, he pushed his jeans and underwear past his balls. His dick was so hard it hurt.

He slid across the seat as far as he could go and then let Brian close the distance between them.

Brian reached for Greg's cock, holding it. It nearly sent Greg over the edge. When Brian slid his hand up and down, Greg sucked air in between his teeth.

A bead of pre-cum glistened on the end. Brian leaned down and licked it off.

"I got tested. But the paper is at my house. I'll show you later." Brian licked another bead of pre-cum. "You taste good."

Greg's ass nearly came off the truck seat, his hips canting forward when Brian sank down and then back up again, twisting his hand to meet his mouth.

"I'm not gonna last long." Brian didn't let up. The wet heat tightened around Greg's dick, creating the most wonderful friction he had ever experienced. The orgasm seemed to rocket through him, sending his hips up, trying to get more. To Brian's credit, he never pulled off and seemed to swallow every drop of Greg's cum.

Brian pulled off Greg's cock and sat against the driver's window, mimicking the way Greg sat. Brian unfastened his pants, pumping his cock fast. Brian's breathing became heavy and his eyes glassed over. Greg couldn't let his little accountant come like that. He leaned forward and pushed Brian's hands away, sinking on Brian's cock. It only took a couple of pumps, and Brian came, trembling. He slumped against the door with a satisfied grin when Greg pulled off.

Greg gathered Brian in his arms and held him close.

"Did you mean all that you sang?" Brian whispered as if he were afraid of the answer.

"Every word, Brian."
