HEARTS

One thing Blackwell had always been right about was that soft hearts did no one any good. They broke over and over again. They bled for those who didn’t deserve it. So, when she finally got an audience with Phantasma’s creator, her heart would not be soft. It would be hardened from all the heartbreak she had experienced in the last two weeks. And the heartbreak that had not yet come as her time with Blackwell dwindled to an end.

Unless she did something about it.

And if the Prince of the Devils refused to give her what she wanted?

Then she would show him her teeth.
