Chapter 38

The plane touched down, and Andy jumped up, ready to run off. Peach followed a little behind him. They were at their cars in seconds and Andy had his phone out, calling Mel. Peach tossed his bag in the back of his car and then headed over to Andy's vehicle.

"Hey, did she answer?"

“Fuck, no.”

They’d found out that no one had heard from Haisley or Mel in a few days. Wild was on the phone and came over, a frown on his face.

“Ava was over there. She said something happened. It looked like someone broke in. No one has been inside in a few days.”

“Fuck!” Andy’s voice bounced off the nearby hangar.

"What the hell?" Worry blasted through Peach. That meant Haisley was missing, too. Fuck. Worry filled him. What if her ex came looking for her?

Andy was staring at his phone, shaking his head. "This makes no sense."

“What?” Jax asked as he moved to stand beside Andy .

"I had a tracking device put in her watch and her wedding ring. She doesn't know about the watch, but she knows about the ring. This says she is about an hour away."

Harry stowed his bag in the back of his car. “Let’s go.”

“You guys don’t?—“

Wild grunted. "Hell, yes, we're going. I just need to make sure we have our guns and ammunition."

Peach nodded. “I’m set.”

“Let’s go,” Jax said.

“I’ll call Ingrid and have her get the women and kids over to my place. They’ll stay there until we return.”

“Sounds good,” Wild said.

They took Bear's SUV and Wild's truck after grabbing pistols from their cars. Whoever had Mel would regret taking her. And if the asshole wasn't there, Peach would hunt down the person responsible and make them pay.

The atmosphere in Bear's SUV was serious. After the hell of a mission they'd come off, they were dangerous. It didn't matter that they would be breaking the law if they killed the kidnappers, he didn't think any of them cared.

Peach had to stay focused on Mel because if he thought of Haisley at the mercy of that fucking dick who had drugged and raped her, he would lose it.

Andy’s location finder showed that they had about five miles left when they saw red lights flashing about two minutes ahead of them.

“I wonder…” Peach said but didn’t finish. He didn’t want to assume something bad had happened. He couldn’t think of Mel or Haisley being hurt or worse.
