Chapter 27
Sex wasn't something she thought was great. Instead, it was a task women were supposed to endure for men because otherwise, they got mean. But the things Peach did to her body, her mind, and her soul made her rethink everything.
When Peach slid in, he moved so slowly she thought she was going to lose her mind. Every flinch of her muscles made him stop or slow. After he was deep inside her, he rolled his hips and made her gasp.
“You okay?” Concern was evident on his face.
She knew this man was the type that would pull back and stop if she asked. “More.”
Peach chuckled, and she wrapped her arms around him so he couldn’t get away. But she knew he could. The power in his body was freaking amazing. His muscles were straining and felt so freaking amazing against her body that she never wanted this to end.
After a few pumps in, Peach rolled them, and she was on top. Peach held her in a way that she didn't really have to use her own power to ride him .
She reveled in the wonder on his face, thinking that this was as close to heaven as she'd ever come. They fit perfectly, like she was made for him. After a moment, he moved them into another position with her on her stomach and him sliding in from behind. He was so big, so thick that every stroke at this angle made her shiver with the need to come again.
When he lifted her up on her knees and reached around to stroke her clit, it was enough to make her shake with a powerful orgasm. Her breath seemed to freeze in her chest as she pulsed around him.
“Fuck, that felt amazing,” Peach whispered in her ear.
“So good.”
He waited for her to stop pulsing before he lowered her so she was on her hands and knees. He pulled back and slammed into her once, then again. His hips snapped so fast and hard she jerked with each thrust, her fingers clutching the sheets as she hung on, trying not to lose it as he pounded into her.
She thought he was going to come, but he pulled out and flipped her over before sinking down onto her, holding her knees so he slid in with one sure stroke. His gaze locked with hers as he slowly pumped in.
"Haisley, you're so beautiful. Be mine," he said right before he gasped, then froze, his cock in all the way to the root, his balls up against her body as he seemed to consume her with how deep he was.
“Yes,” she cried out as he shook above her with his beautiful orgasm. Sex had never been like this before. Whatever she’d had with others was no match for how Peach moved.
He pulled out and removed the condom, hopping up and then heading into the bathroom. Dissatisfaction slid through her because she thought he was going to leave her alone, but he was back in bed, his kisses soft and gentle. He snuggled against her, his soft dick lying against her leg.
She turned to face him, meeting his serious gaze. Words seemed to fail her. This man had changed her, though she hadn't known him for long.
“I was serious. Be mine.”
Haisley felt the tears building, and she wanted to wipe them away and not ruin the moment, but she didn't think he would react badly to her crying. "I want you," she choked out.
“I’m yours.” Peach’s mouth slid over hers in a gentle kiss.
“Are we really doing this?” Haisley asked.
He went up on his elbow and stared down at her. “Do you want to? Do you really want to be in a relationship with me?”
She nodded and sat up. He sat up, matching her posture. "Peach, I've been attracted to you since you showed up, but I'm not worthy."
“Oh, babe, you so are.”
“But I’m?—“
He put his fingers on her lips. "You are you, and I find you very attractive. I like being with you. No, we haven't spent a bunch of time together, but we've spent enough time that I think we're more than compatible."
“I’m not good at this.”
His eyes narrowed. “At what?”
“I’ve never been in a good relationship. You know, one that doesn’t include abuse.”
A look of anger crossed his face before he leaned in and brushed a kiss against her cheek. “I’m not like that. I want love. I know we don’t have that yet, but I’d be lying to say I’m not feeling things for you that are deeper than I’ve ever felt. It’s like something clicked, and I can’t shake it. Not that I want to now.”
She nodded. “I felt something click but didn’t want to accept it.”
“Why?” Peach asked.
“Because I’m pregnant and a mess. I have issues. I’d be homeless if I wasn’t here with you.”
He cupped her cheeks and held her so she had to look into his eyes. His thumbs slowly grazed her cheeks, and her heart stopped as his soul seemed to look into hers.
“Circumstances don’t make a person, but what you do with it.”
“I’m not sure I did the right thing.”
“I’m sure you’ll make it the right thing with your actions.”
"I've wanted a baby for so long. I feel greedy keeping it because of what happened."
“Again, it’s not what happened, but how you deal with it. You are choosing the hope of the matter over the destruction they wanted to wield.”
“I want this to be good. I want the best for this child.”
“Because you’re a good person.”
Haisley drew in a long breath, worry pelting her. “Are you ready to be a father? Like you’d be daddy from day one.”
Peach nodded. "I worked that out before I asked you to move here with me. I mean, I knew you could walk away and not want me, but I was hopeful this would turn into more."
“Really? You want this? The trouble, the pain, all the hours spent awake, walking the floor with worry as the baby screams in pain from an earache or teething?”
He didn’t break eye contact as he nodded. “Yes. Maybe it’s not how most people get together, but this is us. We’ll make it work. We’ll figure out a path forward. Plus, we have friends. Already, the women are talking to Mel about how they are going to show up and help her with the newborn.”
“That’s great. I never expected to have help, but your friends are different.”
“They really are great.”
“I’m looking forward to spending time with Mel next week.”
“I’m glad you’re getting along with them. When Ava first showed up in Wild’s life, I was skeptical. But she’s an awesome person.”
“Yeah, they’ve made me feel great. I’m impressed.”
“Are you hungry?” Peach asked as he stood and helped her out of bed.
“Um, I could eat something.”
“How about a sandwich?”
“Sure, I can make you one.”
Peach threw back his head, laughter spilling out. “Heck no. I was going to make you one. I can make my own damn sandwiches. You blew me and then had amazing as hell sex with me.”
She shook her head. “You’re so…”
“What?” he asked as he flipped on the light in the kitchen.
“Good. You’re good. And I love it.”
His smile made her heart fill with emotions. She was falling hard for him. He wasn’t at all like anyone she’d experienced before, and she knew if she ruined this, she would regret it for the rest of her life. Peach was the type of man who was a keeper. She needed to not fuck this up.
