Chapter Sixteen

Kouvr

I held a nice button up shirt to Zelo’s chest, trying to decide what would look better on him.

He sharply inhaled, holding his breath. He just wanted to put on a new black t-shirt and jeans, which would probably still be drop dead beautiful, but had an opportunity to dress him now and wear whatever here.

My eyes moved up from his solid, muscular chest to his dark, almond-shaped eyes.

“Are you just dressing me to your preference?” he muttered in a low tone, eyes scanning my face.

I shook my head. “No! I would never… Should I?” I put the shirt back and moved away from the t-shirts. If I had control of his wardrobe… What would he wear right now?

Kyree laughed, leaning against the cash register.

“Don’t laugh. You’re next.” I pointed at him.

Cyrus stepped from the dressing room, and I knew instantly I wouldn’t have to change his outfit. He did wear a simple black tee with black khaki-style pants. He wore his boots under it. Jacket in hand, he looked at himself in the mirror.

“See, black t-shirts are good,” Zelos pointed out.

Moving closer to Cyrus, I ran a finger down his lower back. The “black t-shirt” wasn’t a t-shirt. It was ripped a bit, and the neckline was slightly higher. “It’s different, Zel. Come on. I’ll make sure it stays black.”

Zelos followed, and I found a black button-up and black khakis that would look good on him. He moved to try it on as Theon moved from the other dressing room.

He wore a white button-down, sleeves rolled and chest open. A black spider tattoo sat on his chest. I didn’t notice it during the concert or the after-party we had. His jet-black hair hung over his shoulder, almost longer than mine.

His eyes met mine in the mirror. “Good?”

“For a zombie apocalypse, it’s a showstopper.” I teased, looking him up and down once more and not hiding it.

Theon chuckled, buttoning up his shirt.

I moved around the store, plucking the outfit I had in my head for Kyree before slamming them on the counter in front of him. “I guessed on your size.”

His eyes looked down before standing up straighter. Without a word, he grabbed them and moved into the dressing room. The drone tried following him inside to get a sneak peek, making him push it away.

Laughing, I grabbed my outfit and moved to the dressing room. I took off my shirt but paused. I almost wished I could see through walls. Kyree was on the right, changing, Zelos was on the left, and me in the middle like a sandwich.

I could almost feel the warmth of Kyree’s sunkissed skin pressed against my back while Zelos’s tan chest was pressed against my front. My heart rate sped up, and my breath hitched. Their hands were all over my skin, caressing my breasts. Lips were against my pulse, making it quicken.

I shook the dirty thoughts from my head and changed. I shouldn’t be thinking about seeing them naked. I might never get to see them naked… Who was I kidding? At every chance, I wanted to see them naked, and with the way this was going, I was going to get my wish.

The “how” I didn’t need to know just yet. I finished lacing my boots up. They had a slight heel, but enough for me to run.

I felt safe and comfortable around the guys, but I wasn’t sure how safe this place was for everyone. The horde that we ran from was nearby but dormant. Laughter was ringing in from the nearby food court from the survivors. They were loud yet so warm and full of life.

As if the zombie apocalypse was out of sight, out of mind.

But what about that car-attracting-the-horde guy? I still couldn’t figure out if he was part of the story or not, but I think he was. Maybe there were some sadistic people who were having fun in the apocalypse.

With the way humans were, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I stepped from the room, looking down at myself.

“Fuck,” Kyree’s voice muttered, making me look up. All the guys’ eyes were locked onto me, hawkeyed.

My throat dried under their eyes: Cyrus’s bright blue eyes, Zelos and Theon’s almost black eyes, and Kyree’s hazel eyes all eating me whole. “Is it bad?”

All of the men began talking at once.

“No,” from Zelos.

“Not at all,” said Cyrus

“Fuck no,” from Kyree.

“You look great,” said Theon.

Smiling, I moved the mirror, looking at myself and wondering if I went a bit too far. The top was kind of lacey, showing an almost illusion neckline. It was also cropped. I wore cargo pants that were a bit high-waisted. I didn’t think it was too fancy or too sexual.

My hair was down, parted on the side from changing. I fixed my curls, adjusting the gold locket necklace and turning to look at the guys.

Kyree was in a black hoodie with an orange and red flannel jacket and similar cargo pants and boots. He looked as edible as I thought he would look in it.

Zelos was in a black button-up and black khakis. Muscles bulged from under the shirt, but it looked comfortable.

My lips closed. All of these men looked amazing, and it should be a crime. “Let’s… uh… explore a bit more and loot.”

Kyree ran a hand through his hair, and dirty brown hair fell against his face right after. “Stealing.”

“It’s the zombie apocalypse! No one owns anything anymore!” I skipped past him, grabbing a cute crossbody bag on the way out. I knew none of this mattered. In a bit, the vlog would end, and I would be without all of this, but it’d been fun being able to shop without worrying about anything. Shopping should always be like that.

Moving past a purple store, I slowed down. It was a gaming store called Gaming Adventure .

“Can we go in here?” I asked, looking at Cyrus.

“Are you asking for permission or the possibility?” he asked, “because both are a yes. But don’t ask for permission for shit, ever.”

With a nod, I moved into the store, unsure what to expect.

The lights cut on automatically, making me flinch. In the front of the store were things to buy: gaming stuff, PC stuff, and new systems, like the sphere cube.

My fingers touched the system that looked like cubes coming out of the sphere.

Moving to the back of the store, I saw a little lounge area in front of TVs, and beside it were a few old arcade games, like in the main lobby of the game. “Shit,” I muttered, moving to see what games were up and running. The sphere cube clicked on with the touch of the main button.

Kyree quickly filled the seat to my right, picking up the white sphere remote.

I clicked through the games and instantly knew what to play: Mortal Kombat 99. “Who wants to get their ass kicked first?”

“Please, you aren’t gonna do shit,” Kyree muttered, clicking on the game from his remote.

Kicking off my boots, I put my feet on the chair, leaning forward as we started the game.

“I face winner,” Cyrus put dibs in on next.

I heard Theon saying something and then footsteps. Glancing over, I saw Zelos and him moving to the air hockey table. I didn’t really know how to play that game as arcades weren’t a thing anymore, but I knew I wanted to play with one of them.

Zelos happened to face me, leaning over the table to grab the puck… hitter… thing . Our eyes met, and for a moment, neither of us pulled away. His dark eyes burned into me and fueled me with a heat I wanted him to get rid of.

“We share,” Theon’s voice echoed in my head.

His eyes dropped, and for some reason, he reminded me of someone… Someone from the past. Who?

I licked my lips, breaking eye contact to pick my character.

But my eyes kept wandering over, wondering how I knew his face.

But I couldn’t think long as Kyree got the first hit, making me suck my teeth. I fought back, using combos I could remember. I tended to hyperfocus on one game at a time and play that until I was a pro at it. This game was one of them.

Kyree was close behind, defending himself.

“You’re just not as good as me!” I hollered, finishing him in the first round.

He growled at me like a dog, making me want to ride that noise out of him.

My pussy throbbed, and I sat back down for the second round, not noticing that I jumped up. This round, I had control the whole time, winning against Kyree.

“Cheater,” Kyree said in my face with a wide smirk.

“Yeah, yeah, sore loser. Pass the remote.”

He was smiling the whole time, and it made my knees almost buckle. “I let you win.”

“Liar!” I pushed him a bit.

He chuckled, moving away for Cyrus to take his spot.

“Ready to be spanked?”

“Are you?” Cyrus chuckled, eyeing me.

“Always,” I looked him up and down before turning to pick my next character.

“I face winner,” Theon called out.

I thought of the air hockey game and playing with Zelos. But that would have to wait. I wanted to win this one.

The round started, and Cyrus was instantly in control, earning a yelp from me. He was very good, better than I was. I focused, but my hits weren’t landing as fast as his.

“Finish her!” The game said, and the round ended in his favor.

I gasped, glaring at him.

“What? I thought you said you were ready to be spanked,” he smirked.

I regretted my words, too focused on the sexual innuendo. Shifting in my chair, the next round started. But it started quick, him instantly on top of me, using his specialty bar move.

I groaned, rolling my eyes.

“God, this is so bittersweet.”

Biting my lip, my hand pushed his remote and that gave me a chance to fight back.

“You cheated!” he laughed, hitting my remote back.

I moved it away, laughing. My cheeks hurt from laughing, but my eyes were focused, finger flying away.

The round ended with me almost losing. I jumped up.

“You cheated, Kouvr!”

“I…” I tried to come up with an excuse. He wasn’t mad, instead smiling so hard. “I sneezed. Achoo. ”

“Oh, oh, yeah that makes sense. You sneezed, hit my remote, and got a few hits in.”

My belly tightened with my laughter. “No. Not at all. It was an accident.”

“Come get your ass whooped,” he pulled me to sit almost on top of him.

Quickly, I adjusted, thighs over his as I leaned forward to play.

He must have hesitated about something because his character took a few hits before he started moving. Our characters went to fucking war, only chipping away at each others health.

Cyrus adjusted, making me move my feet. “I win,” he muttered right against the shell of my ear.

My spine stiffened, and my finger moved a bit slower.

In a flash, he was finishing me off like I was nothing. My jaw fell open, watching him finish me. It wasn’t often I lost.

“That was cheating,” I muttered, looking at him.

His face was still close to mine, a smirk on his lips. I craved to kiss that smile off his face, but I refrained. It would be like a reward for kicking my ass in the game.

“Cheater,” I scoffed, standing and glaring at him.

He let out a laugh as Theon took my seat.

Smiling, I glanced back at him a few times, seeing Cyrus’s blue eyes still on me. I moved the air hockey machine where Zelos was nearby. “Want to play?”

He looked up at me, nodding. “Sure.” He moved to the end he was at playing with Theon. With a button on his side, cool air pushed up on my hands resting on the table. I curled my finger around the paddle like he did. He set the black puck down, instantly hitting it forward. It clanked as it slid into my goal and popped out at the bottom.

“You’re supposed to defend,” he said.

I reached down, grabbing the puck from the slot it came out of. “I know that. Thank you.”

He nodded, a smile on his lips.

I focused, catching onto the game easily. I sunk it into his goal next, making him meet my eyes.

“You’re supposed to defend,” I mocked.

He licked his lips as they curled into a smile.

He lost the game by a lot.

“Did you let me win too?” I asked, raising a brow.

“Yes… and I let Theon win too.”

I let out a laugh, throwing my head back.
