Chapter Thirty
Andy
I didn't mind the rain. At least not today. The feel of Leo's warm skin, his arms holding me close. Wrapped up in the sheets with him by my side, nothing else mattered but him. Just us.We had showered together, Leo dropping between my legs to suck me off before I returned the favor, and now, we were just enjoying being together. The way we should be.
"So, you were surprised." I pressed my lips to his, kissing down his jaw and neck.I slid my fingers down his back, feeling the knobs of his spine.
Leo sighed happily. "Very." He leaned his head on my chest when I dropped onto my back. "This is sexy." He dragged his fingers through the hair on my chest.
We hadn't had much of a chance to explore one another's bodies until now. Sure, we'd had had sex twice, but this was the first time we had stayed naked together. He ran his hands all over me. It felt right to get acquainted with him again. All of him. His fingers danced over my tattoos on my upper arm. "I like these."
"And I like this." I touched the ring in his bellybutton. It glittered in the light. "When did you get it?"
Leo smiled up at me. "Last year for my birthday. It was Ezra's gift to me."
"I like it."
It looked perfect. Like it was meant to be there, nestled against his soft, pale skin. I held him tighter, hoping he could feel how much I loved him. And how sorry I was, even if he had sort of forgiven me.
Leo smiled at me, then stretched up to press his mouth to mine. Then he nestled his head back against my chest, his fingers dancing over my skin.
"I was a little worried when I couldn't get hold of you last night. Thought that maybe something had happened. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions."
"Baby, no. I'm sorry that I scared you. When Dad suggested we come out for the race, it was all I could think about. Getting to you and holding you in my arms. Then the twins wanted to come, and Lucas, too, so it turned into this whole thing." I combed my fingers through his raven hair.
He giggled. "You think Felix and Ford are banging RJ right now?"
"Could we not talk about that?" I didn't want to picture whatever dirty shit my foster brothers were up to. It was weird.
Leo sat up, the sheet pooling around his waist. My mouth watered at the sight. "Where did Lucas disappear to? I didn't see him in the RV, unless he was in the bedroom, and I doubt that. Ezra is very particular about who lets in there."
"I don't know, he was being all secretive. He mostly just ignored us on the drive up. He's probably wandering around outside. Getting into trouble and leering at everyone."
"In the rain?"
I let my eyes travel over Leo's hairless chest. Admired his perky pink nipples and the way his breathing sped up when he caught me. "Mm, yeah."
"Are you paying attention to me?" Leo climbed into my lap, his fingers making their way into the hair on the nape of my neck. "Or are you just going to stare at my naked body?"
I chuckled softly. "It's kind of hard not to. You're so beautiful."
"Stop." He rolled his eyes, but I gripped his chin between my thumb and forefinger. "Andy," he whispered, his baby blue eyes landing on my mouth.
I leaned forward to capture Leo's soft lips and forgot about everything else. My anxiety, my mother, nothing else mattered expect kissing the man I loved. The one person I knew I couldn't live without.
The sound of someone knocking on the door had us pulling apart. I popped a brow as Leo climbed from the bed. He quickly grabbed clean clothes from his bag and winked at me before he hurried into the other room. I was stuck watching his perfect round ass as he walked away. Seriously? I thought we were going to spend the day together. Touching and kissing and fucking.
"What happened?" Leo's voice carried into the bedroom. "Boo, you're shaking. Come inside and sit down. Both of you get in from the rain."
I couldn't hear the response from the other person. My clothes were in that room, and my overnight bag was still at Ezra and Carson's place. I couldn't exactly go out there naked. Nothing that Leo had was going to fit me.
"Hon." Leo was suddenly in the doorway, my jeans in his hand. "Your brother is here."
I shot to my feet. "Is he okay?"
My thoughts immediately went to the twins. Did RJ hurt them or do something they didn't like? I balled my hands into fists at my side. I would end him if that was the case. My brothers deserved happiness, too.
"Lucas is fine," Leo assured me. "It's Parker who's in trouble."
My brows shot up. "Parker?"
"Yeah, they, uh... were attacked, and Lucas happened to be the one to stop it. They're all right, just a little shaken. They have some cuts and bruises. They might need to see a doctor just to make sure." Leo'd hand trembled as I took my pants from him. "Maybe I should call Mason. I don't... What should I do?"
I wrapped my arms around Leo. "You said it yourself; they're all right."
He buried his face against my chest, and my clothes dropped to the floor. I pressed a kiss against the side of Leo's head.
"Let me get dressed, and we'll figure this out together, Ricky."
Leo watched wide-eyed as I quickly pulled on my clothes, and then I guided him back into the front of the RV. Lucas was sitting on the couch with Parker, their head against his shoulder. They both jumped apart when we walked into the room, and Lucas quickly climbed to his feet. Parker kept their gaze on their hands in their lap, but I saw the swelling of their cheek and cuts on their knuckles and cheeks. Their shirt was ripped around the collar, and bruises were darkening against their skin.
"What happened?" I hooked my arm around Leo to keep him close. When neither of them spoke, I grunted.
Lucas shook his head before he cast his eyes on Parker. "Nah, bro, it's not for me to say."
"I..." Parker's voice cracked, and Leo was instantly next to them, murmuring things in Parker's ear, coming his fingers through their hair. Parker nodded, fat tears slipping down their cheeks. "Go ahead, Lucas. I want you to tell them. It's okay."
Lucas's dark eyes narrowed. "Some assholes were taunting Parker. Calling them names and shit. Things I'm not about to repeat because they were vulgar and disgusting. I didn't recognize either of them as drivers, so maybe they were pit crew or something? Anyway, they pushed Parker, hit them, and that's when I intervened."
"You saved my life," Parker whispered. They wiped their face, and makeup smeared across their cheek.
Lucas shrugged. "Dude, it's nothing a good human being wouldn't do." He chewed on his bottom lip. "You sure you're all right? You don't need a doctor or anything?"
"We could call your father," Leo suggested, smoothing the hair around Parker's face.
Parker shook their head. "No, please, I don't want my parents involved." They pushed their face back into Leo's shoulder. "I'm okay. I'll be fine. I can just go back to my RV, and—"
Leo cut them off. "Absolutely not. You'll stay here."
He glanced at me like I would say no. I mean, sure, it would suck because I wasn't about to have sex with my boyfriend with my brother in the other room, but Parker was clearly shaken and didn't want to be alone.
Parker shook their head. "I can't impose on you like that, Leo. Your boyfriend is here, and the last thing you want is someone to rain on your parade. I'll be fine at my own place. It's not like they're going to come back."
"I could stay with you." Lucas gripped the back of his neck as his cheeks burned crimson. "I mean, if you don't want to be alone. That way, Andy and Leo can get their freak on." He snorted nervously.
I opened my mouth to snap at my brother until I saw the look on Parker's face. It was a mixture of surprise, relief, and admiration. I pressed my lips together to keep myself from interrupting whatever was going on between them. It might be nothing, but it certainly looked like something.
"You're more than welcome to stay here. It's not my RV, so I don't have a say, but we'd love to have you."
"I don't want to intrude." Parker was still staring at Lucas. "I think that maybe I should go to the infield care center to get checked. I'm not feeling so good. It's probably nothing, but I just want to make sure."
Lucas took a step toward them. "What are you waiting for? Let's go."
"You don't have to... Take me or stay with me. I'm an adult. I can take care of myself. Go back to doing whatever you were doing. I appreciate your help, rescuing me like I was a damsel in distress. But that's not who I am." Parker managed to get to their feet. They swayed slightly and might have gone down if my brother had jumped in to catch them.
Lucas's lips curved up slightly. "You were saying?" He scooped Parker effortlessly into his arms. "I'll take you." He glanced at me. "Are you guys going to come with us or stay here?"
Leo was already shoving his shoes on. "We're coming with you."
I had no choice but to put on my sneakers and follow them all out the door.
