Sometimes, a decision has to be made whether we like it or not and I don't know if I like it. I don't know if I want it either. A part of me knows what's going to end up happening between us but the other part of me is just happy to see it happen like this. I can't complain, nor am I going to because all I know is that I want to be happy, and I know he can give me that. He WANTS to give me that and I know that I can't deny him it either. He has managed to worm his way into my heart even when I wasn't expecting him to. I kind of just thought that our relationship was this and there's nothing that I would change about it.

But now, everything has changed.

I walk towards Dyronix, feeling my blood pulsing hot through my veins and I know that I have one chance to tell him all of this. I don't know what he is going to say or do but I have to come clean to him. I don't want to leave even though the war is over.

"I want to stay." I confess to him, seeing how he comes to a standstill, and raises an eyebrow at me, "I know that we never put a label on it, but I want to be by your side. I really like you, Dyronix, and I can't see a life without you… If you'll accept me."

This could honestly be a hit or miss and I don't know what he is going to decide. I worry that maybe he is going to end up hating me but the other part of me doesn't want to think about it. I should have known he would never speak to me so crassly as he walks towards me, a soft smile on his face as he pulls me in close and kisses me on the lips.

"I thought you would never ask."
