Chapter 20

Vince

W e made it back to the room by ten, leaving us about an hour and a half until we needed to be downstairs.

Sylvain had laid out his clothes on the bed, and I couldn't wait to see him all dressed up. The blue suit would look amazing.

I'd also chosen blue but a shade lighter, and a white shirt, but I wore a waistcoat and pale blue tie to accompany it.

Lexi had taken me shopping and persuaded me to go for the outfit. It wasn't something I would have chosen myself, but she'd said I needed to impress not just Theo but Sylvain too.

"I'm going to shower." Sylvain, seemingly comfortable with my presence, undressed and walked stark bollock naked to the bathroom.

The thought I'd had a few weeks ago, the one where I'd imagined him standing before me, his heavy cock and balls hanging down, popped into my mind. Would he let me join him in the shower?

The shower cubicle was definitely big enough for two grown men, and he hadn't closed the door, so that meant an invitation. Didn't it?

I followed him, shedding my clothes as I went.

As I walked towards him, he tracked my every move, the corner of his mouth lifted in a lopsided smile.

Steam filled the room, and he stepped under the spray, beckoning me.

I obliged until we stood toe to toe, our erect cocks touching.

"You're being brave again, petite souris."

"Maybe I can't get enough." I lifted my head, my lips pouted.

He closed the gap, kissing my waiting mouth.

Our hands roamed, and I touched parts of him I'd not managed the day before, parts I'd only ever dreamt of.

Yesterday had been quick; today I wanted to take my time.

I squeezed his firm buttocks and, before I could think any more about it, dropped to my knees.

"Yes, Vince," he moaned.

I took his cock in my hand and looked closely, absorbing every ridge and vein. His balls were tight against his body, and I leant forward, took one into my mouth, and sucked slightly.

The grunts and groans coming from above spurred me on, and I rolled the other in my hand, then swapped them out. Back and forth, I went, taking pleasure from the noises Sylvain made.

Pre-cum dripped from his cock, which pulsed in front of my face.

How could I resist?

I clamped my lips around it and sucked. That was right, wasn't it?

Sylvain jerked forward, pushing his cock down my throat, and I gagged.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He pulled back, but I stopped him and took him back into my mouth as far as I dared.

I wanted to please him as he'd done with me last night.

I watched porn. I wasn't a prude.

So I hollowed my cheeks, sucking him down. With one hand, I rubbed his shaft in time. My other hand I kept at his balls.

Who said men couldn't multitask?

But my jaw was aching, and I didn't know how much longer I would last. Porn stars kept at it for hours.

I let go of his cock with a filthy plop and wanked him as I would myself until his balls tightened.

I took him in again, and spurt after spurt of warm spunk filled my mouth. I swallowed as quickly as possible, but there was so much it dribbled down my chin.

"Where in god's name did you learn to do that?" Sylvain rested against the tiled wall, breathless.

Surely, it was rude to speak with my mouth full, and I continued to suck him down until his balls were empty.

I released him and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand, gathering any stray drips before licking my hands clean.

He helped me to stand and hugged me close.

"Thank you, but you really didn't need to do that."

"Yes, I did. You treated me yesterday. Now it was my turn to reciprocate. I'm eager to learn all these new tricks now I know how good it is. It was my pleasure." And it had been. While he'd emptied his load, one touch from my hand on my cock had been enough to make me come like a geyser, the evidence of my release now down the shower plug.

"Do you want me to?"

"I'm good. Really good, actually."

"Oh. Ohhh, my little mouse is satisfied."

"Yes, very. But we need to get showered and dressed. Glen won't be happy if we're late."

Sylvain insisted on helping me wash, lingering a little too long on my arse, but I wasn't complaining.

We dried off and finally dressed, standing side by side as we looked in the mirror.

He looked so fucking handsome with his hair styled and gelled, the grey sprinkles sparkled in the light. His sweet-smelling cologne turned my insides to goo.

His suit fit like a glove, accentuating his broad shoulders and muscled arms.

And the man beside him? He wasn't bad looking either. Losing those pounds had been a struggle but so worth it. The waistcoat stretched perfectly across my almost flat stomach.

Sylvain had helped me with my hair, and for the first time in my life, I felt good. More than good. I felt like I belonged.

"Theo will kick himself when he sees you. Glen pales into comparison."

"You're just saying that." I looked down at my feet, embarrassed by his words.

"No, none of that." He lifted my chin with one finger. "The first time I saw you was at the airport. You were lost, gazing about like the English tourist you were. Then again, at the resort. I was so incensed by my phone call, but I wanted to say hello to you. Since then, I've got to know you and your personality. You are genuine and funny and smart and amazing and magnificent. What was the other one?"

"I don't remember, but say it again." Tears sprung to my eyes. No one had ever said anything like that to me. He'd snuck into my life and brought me so much joy.

He ran a finger down my face and through the tears that fell unbidden down my cheeks. I wasn't sad. Far from it. I was as happy as I'd ever been, and it was all down to Sylvain.

"We should go before I cry any more. But please don't let me drink too much today. You know what happens when I do that."

"I do indeed. You flirt shamelessly, and I'm the only one you need to be doing that with."

I checked my appearance once more. Looking good.

We took the lift to the ground floor and walked to the terrace.

The sun had come out, brightening the white archway festooned with flowers. White wooden chairs stood on either side of the aisle, pale pink organza bows tied around the back.

The seats were filling quickly, but the ones on Glen's side remained pitifully empty. An elderly couple sat in the front row, next to a man who, by his similar features, had to be his brother, and a handful of other guests. Maybe he wasn't so popular after all.

I slid into the chair next to Lexi and kissed her cheek. "You look beautiful."

"And you two scrub up well. You're glowing too. How good was the sex?"

"Jesus, Lexi. There are people about."

"Never mind them. They won't care, but I do. I'm so happy for you. Sylvain really has brought out the best in you. What are you going to do when he goes home?"

I'd not thought that far ahead, wanting to get through this weekend before worrying about it.

"I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. For now, I'm going to enjoy watching one of my best friends marry an arsehole."

"Shush, people will hear." She grinned.

"Like I care anymore. I have you, Robin, and Sylvain. I don't need anyone else in my life."

On the dot of twelve, the wedding march started, and hand in hand, Glen and Theo walked down the aisle to the waiting celebrant.

No hymns, just classical music even I enjoyed. Theo did look happy, but the cynical side of me wondered for how long. I knew Theo and what he was like.

He flitted from relationship to relationship, always looking for love and attention. Glen was so far up his own arse he'd be tired of him before long and move on.

But it was their wedding day, and I plastered a smile on my face and cheered with everyone else as they were announced husband and husband.

It wasn't a patch on Lexi's wedding, but then again, he'd dropped me as wedding organiser. What did they expect?

As the ceremony ended, the sun disappeared, and the clouds opened again. We ran inside, shaking the rain from our clothes.

"That was a close call." Sylvain brushed off the sleeve of his jacket. "Can I get anyone some drinks? Lexi?"

"I'd love a white wine and soda, but you'd best make it a lime and soda instead. Got to look after the little one." She patted her growing bump.

Robin asked for a pint, and I ordered a glass of wine, trusting Sylvain to get me a good one.

I used the skills I learnt at the vineyard before drinking it. He hadn't disappointed me. The wine was almost as good as Raphael's.

"You remembered." Sylvain sipped on his own.

"I did, but I didn't spit. I swallowed."

"Hrmph!" Droplets spurted out of his nose as he choked on the wine.

I laughed, patting his back gently. "Now you know why I was laughing at the vineyard."

"What are you guys laughing at? You four seem to be having a good time." Theo approached us, Glen stuck to his side like glue.

"We were just discussing the merits of swallowing rather than spitting," Lexi said with a wide grin. "Vince was telling us he preferred to swallow."

"Lexi." I elbowed her, but this time, I didn't care about any of it. I wanted Theo to know I was no longer the sweet, na?ve Vince who had been his friend forever.

I'd grown up and matured. I'd found a man who cherished me and worshipped my body despite how it looked.

It was more than he'd ever done, only hurting me with his words.

"Well, I'm sure I don't know what you mean."

"Oh, come on." Lexi nudged him with her arm. "Remember the nights we spent at my house when we were younger? You were no stranger to—"

Robin placed his hand over her mouth.

"What does she mean, Theo?" Glen looked between them both.

"Nothing, she's just messing about. Aren't you, Lexi?"

Sylvain and I watched the exchange with amusement. This was funnier than anything I'd seen in a while.

"It was just a joke, Glen. Nothing for you to worry about. We grew up together and shared a lot. We were kids, that was all." She said with a shrug.

"Well, we need to go talk to everyone else. Come on, Theo."

I kind of felt sorry for Theo as he gazed back at us while Glen dragged him along, but he'd made his bed. It was time for him to lie in it.

An hour later, after the photographs were over and done with, we were called through to the dining room for the wedding breakfast.

"Why is it called a breakfast?" Sylvain asked. "Didn't we have that earlier?"

"I've no idea. It's just what it's called."

The waiter placed plates of roast beef, fancy potatoes, and an assortment of vegetables in front of us.

Sylvain frowned. "This isn't breakfast."

"It's just called that, silly. I'll google it later if it makes you happy."

"Anything you do makes me happy." He gazed at me with misty eyes, either from emotion or the wine he'd drunk, I wasn't sure. Clearly, he'd had one too many. His turn to be tipsy for a change.

"Just eat it. You'll enjoy it."

"I would prefer bacon and eggs." He pouted.

"Now you're being ridiculous. You can't have that for dinner. You had it for breakfast."

"But you said this was breakfast."

"Maybe you should stay off the wine for a while. Here, have some water."

"I am upset." The more he drank, the more pronounced his accent became, and if that didn't make my little heart sing, I didn't know what did.

I loved his accent, and apparently Lexi did too. She couldn't take her eyes off him.

"Hey." I knocked her with my knee under the table. "Ogle your own man. Keep your beady eyes off mine."

"It's that accent. It's so fucking sexy." For once, she kept her voice down. "Do you think I can get Robin to learn French? Just think of the fun we could have."

"I think you've had far too much fun, young lady. You have a little bun in the oven, cooking away."

"Thank god the morning sickness has gone. That was brutal. I had to get off the tube several times to be sick. Took me ages to get to work."

Sylvain picked at his food, inspecting the vegetables before eating them.

"You don't have vegetables for breakfast. This is a travesty."

"Do you think he needs a lie-down?" She gestured to him with her fork.

"Nah, he'll be good. A couple of glasses of water will see him right. Although a drunk Sylvain is a funny Sylvain. In France, he drove and never drank a lot, so I've never seen him like this."

"He does like you, you know. I've been watching him today, and he can't take his eyes off you."

"He's just a friend who's helping me out."

"You keep telling yourself that, sunshine. I can see it in your eyes too. That holiday was the best thing to ever happen to you. You found yourself and a boyfriend."

"Do you think?" I gazed at the man who I'd given my virginity, the man who, in return, had given me the confidence to be who I was.

I had to agree with Lexi. Things happened for a reason, and maybe Theo finding Glen and marrying him was the catalyst for me to take hold of my life and make it my own.
