GLOSSARY

Burnos – A planet within the Border System that is known for its frequent wildfires. A difficult planet to reside on and relies heavily on outside assistance and charity to continue to function as a habitable planet.

Drakfern – An alien race with vibrantly coloured eyes that match equally vibrantly coloured scales that cover the entirety of their skin. With wings that span the entire length of their bodies, they are beings that live in the tall trees of their home planet of Fernilum. They have the ability to fly, and are also excellent swimmers, and loosely resemble dragons, though they have no magical fire-breathing abilities, they do run hot.

Dratos – A planet within the Entario System; home to the Yu’Rom. Least polluted habitable planet within the IU. This is where most crops are grown for export. An array of landscapes and oceans make up the surface of the planet, and there is a symbiotic harmony of life. Many rules have been enacted to ensure the continued flourishing and harmony of all creatures that are heavily enforced by its inhabitants.

Entario System – A solar system within the Intergalactic Union that contains an array of habitable planets. A popular hub for trade and vacationers.

Fernilum – An exotic Jungle planet within the Entario System that is home to the Drakferns. Highly volatile due to extreme weather conditions (especially the heat) and abundance of predators of both the fawn and fauna varieties. Does have oceans but is predominantly land. The trees reach high up into the clouds, and the planet is orbited by three habitable moons, orbits around twin suns, and the sky is a pale violet.

Gerinium – Planet within the Border System, a solar system on the outskirts of the Intergalactic Union containing planets overpopulated and impoverished. Heavily polluted, the land is increasingly barren, crops struggle to grow, and is heavily populated by cramped, crumbling cities.

Grik – Planet within the Entario System; home to the Griknot.

Griknot – An alien species from the planet Grik. Can survive on land or in water and have tentacle-like facial coverings that move independently and are reminiscent of human beards sharp, shark-like teeth, and skin tones of all colours, though more commonly blues, greens and purples.

Mutt – Universal slang term denoting an individual with combined genetics of two or more alien races. Generally not used offensively.

Turns – hours.

Tornu – A warrior race from the planet Tornulis, recognisable for the spikes that run along their head, back, and arms in place of hair, flat noses, and their abundantly muscular builds, alongside a short-fuse temperament, and yellow eyes to trick other predators into believing them venomous.

Tornulis – A planet within the Entario System that is home to the Tornu.

Veritium – an artificial substance that blocks a chemical in the brain to lower inhibitions. Used primarily to ensure the affected party is involuntarily truthful.

Yu’Rom – Alien race from the planet Dratos. They have pale features, short, stocky builds, and pointed ears.
