Epilogue

EPILOGUE

T he morning of the wedding dawned bright and clear. Olive woke to a flurry of activity – hair stylists, makeup artists, and her mother all bustling around her penthouse.

"Oh, sweetheart," Mariah Harper gushed, tears glistening in her eyes as she helped Olive into her dress. "You look absolutely breathtaking."

Olive smiled, smoothing down the vintage lace of her gown. "Thanks, Mom. I can't believe this day is finally here."

The ceremony was a blur of emotion and beauty. Olive walked down the aisle on her father's arm, her eyes locked on Chaos. He stood tall and handsome in his perfectly tailored suit, his hazel eyes shining with love and just a hint of his wild nature.

As they exchanged vows, Olive's voice wavered with emotion. "Chaos, you've shown me that true love isn't just something that happens in books. It's messy and complicated and absolutely perfect. I promise to stand by your side through every adventure, every challenge, and every moment of joy."

Chaos's deep voice rumbled with feeling as he spoke. "Olive, you've turned my world upside down in the best possible way. You've taught me that there's more to life than spreadsheets and board meetings. I promise to be your partner, your protector, and your biggest fan in this life and whatever comes after."

As they sealed their vows with a kiss, cheers erupted from their gathered friends and family. Olive caught sight of Gerri Wilder in the crowd, looking immensely pleased with herself.

The reception was a joyous celebration, filled with laughter, dancing, and more than a few shifter-related jokes. Baxter, in his role as best man, delivered a toast that had everyone in stitches.

"When I suggested Chaos hire a matchmaker, he thought I lost my mind," Baxter said, raising his glass. "But Gerri Wilder, you've outdone yourself. Who else could have paired a tech-obsessed lion with a romance-loving human and made it work?"

As the night wore on, Olive found a quiet moment to slip away and record a quick message for her vlog.

"Hey, book lovers," she said, her face glowing with happiness. "I know I usually review romance novels, but today I'm living one. I married my very own romance hero complete with abs of steel and a propensity for dramatic rescues."

She panned the camera to show Chaos chatting with some guests, his arm casually draped over the back of a chair. As if sensing her gaze, he looked up and winked.

"Stay tuned for my new series, I Married a Romance Hero," Olive continued with a grin. "It's going to be wild, literally and figuratively."

As she ended the recording, Chaos appeared at her side. "Vlogging on our wedding day?" he asked, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"Of course," Olive replied cheekily. "How else will our future cubs know how their parents fell in love?"

Chaos's eyebrows shot up. "Cubs, huh? Is there something you want to tell me?"

Olive laughed, pulling him close. "What can I say? I'm a planner. Besides, I can't wait to start our family."

"I can't either, bella mia ."

As they rejoined the party, Olive's heart swelled with love and excitement for the future. She had found her happily ever after, complete with a dash of the paranormal and a whole lot of romance. And as she looked at Chaos, she knew that their story was just beginning.

The final notes of the evening faded away, and Olive and Chaos found themselves alone at last, swaying gently on the dance floor. The reception hall was empty now, save for the scattered remnants of their celebration – discarded champagne flutes, wilting flower arrangements, and the lingering echoes of laughter and music.

"So, Mrs. Amato," Chaos murmured, his breath warm against her ear. "Was it everything you hoped for?"

Olive pulled back slightly to meet his gaze, her blue eyes shining with happiness. "It was more," she replied softly. "So much more."

As they made their way out of the hall, hand in hand, Olive caught sight of a small gift box that hadn't been there before. Curious, she picked it up, finding a note attached in Gerri's unmistakable handwriting.

"To the happy couple," Olive read aloud. "May your love story be even more thrilling than any romance novel. P.S. – Chaos, don't forget to roar on the honeymoon. Olive loves a good climax."

Chaos groaned, a mix of embarrassment and amusement coloring his cheeks. "I'm starting to think Gerri's been watching your vlogs."

Olive laughed, tucking the note into her purse. "Well, she's not wrong," she teased, giving Chaos a suggestive wink. She took a few steps, stopped, and turned to him. "Chaos, have you watched my vlogs?"

His face turned a bright shade of red. "Uh…what?"

"You've watched my vlogs, haven't you?" She grinned in delight.

"Well, I needed to know more about you, and what better way than to see your vlogs."

She giggled and threw her arms around his neck. "Don't worry, my hunky lion. Those romance heroes don't have anything on you."

"Thank god, because you seemed a little too excited in some of those vlogs."

As they stepped out into the cool night air, a sleek limousine waiting to whisk them away to their honeymoon, Olive felt a sense of contentment wash over her. This was the beginning of their greatest adventure yet – a love story for the ages, complete with all the twists, turns, and paranormal surprises she could have ever dreamed of.

"Ready for our happily ever after?" Chaos asked, holding the car door open for her.

Olive grinned, her heart full to bursting. "Absolutely."
