Chapter Twenty

Adalee

The backyard was alive with the crackling warmth of the fire pit, the flickering flames casting a soft glow over the gathering. Harley and Davidson darted around excitedly, chasing after the sticks Yarder and Fade were throwing. Their joyous barks and the sound of laughter filled the air, blending perfectly with the light summer breeze. Mark was playing bag toss with Aero, Throttle, and Cue Ball on the other side of the yard.

I was sitting close to the fire with Sloane, Olive, Poppy, and Dove, all of us nestled comfortably in our chairs. Fallon had come out earlier, but she had feigned being tired and headed to her room. Smoke, Compass, and Stretch were deep in conversation on the other side of the fire pit. The atmosphere was relaxed and almost carefree.

We all were full of lasagna and cake. Everyone liked the cake so much that there wasn't a crumb left. I guess I hadn't lost my touch when it came to cake even though it had been years since I baked.

"It's fast," Sloane laughed.

Poppy wagged her finger at me. "It's crazy how fast everything changes, isn't it? One minute, you're a single woman out in the world, and the next, you're here." She made a sweeping gesture with her hand. "MC World."

Sloane laughed. "It sounds like an amusement park."

"Oh," Dove gasped, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "We should totally build an amusement park instead of a garage."

"Girl, I can tell you right now I could get people through the doors in droves," Sloane said confidently. "I just need to make one little post in my book groups, and we would be sold out! Motorcycle rides, clubhouse experience, and food."

"I bet if we offer mustache rides, we'd get even more people," Dove added, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

"Dove," Poppy gasped, clearly scandalized.

"Oh, please," Dove laughed. "You know Compass, Stretch, Dice, and Pirate would gladly volunteer as tribute."

Compass looked up from his conversation across the fire, clearly curious. "What are we doing?"

"Nothing!" Poppy and I shouted in unison. We did not need to encourage Dove and Sloane. If Sloane took this to her book friends, things would definitely start happening.

The fire crackled, and I leaned back, savoring the warmth and the company. The idea of an MC-themed amusement park was ridiculous, but I realized how much I loved being part of this group. Despite all the chaos and uncertainty, there was a deep sense of belonging and family here.

Harley and Davidson bounded over to us, tongues lolling and tails wagging. Yarder and Fade followed, both amused and slightly out of breath.

"Those dogs have more energy than I do," Yarder said, shaking his head.

Dove leaned over and nudged me with her elbow. "So, what do you think? Should we pitch the amusement park idea to the guys?"

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but smile. "Go right ahead, Dove." I knew the guys would shut it down instantly.

Fade walked over and pulled me out of my chair with a playful tug. He sat down in the chair, then gently pulled me onto his lap. I settled against him, feeling his warmth and strength.

"This is nice," I whispered.

Fade pressed a kiss to my cheek. "What were you guys plotting?" he asked.

"We're tearing down the garage and going to build an MC-themed amusement park," Sloane blurted out. "It's a brilliant idea, and all we have to do is… everything." She dissolved into a fit of drunken laughter.

"Compass and the guys are going to give mustache rides," Dove laughed.

"What?" Compass called from across the fire, clearly confused.

"If I didn't have Aero, I would totally go," Sloane added, waving at Aero. Aero nodded back to her. "He has no clue what I said," she laughed.

"I figured with Poppy around, you guys wouldn't get crazy." Yarder shook his head. "I'm going to have to separate you guys, or we're going to be opening an amusement park."

"We're opening an amusement park?" Rocky skidded up next to Olive and looked around expectantly. "Will there be a roller coaster?"

"Okay," Olive laughed. "I think we need to move this conversation along."

"Cue," Rocky called. "We're opening an amusement park."

"What the fuck?" he hollered.

Fade buried his face in my neck, kissing just behind my ear. "I think it's time we head in," he whispered.

I snuggled into him, soaking in the warmth of his embrace. "You're not enjoying the planning for MC World?" I joked.

Fade chuckled softly. "I don't think your idea is going to get off the ground, cupcake."

"That's okay," I sighed. "I somehow landed in my own personal MC world with my prince."

Fade growled playfully, his breath tickling my skin. He stood up, lifting me effortlessly in his arms. It still amazed me how he could lift me so easily, even from a seated position.

"Where are you going?" Dove called out, her curiosity piqued.

"Bed," Fade answered. He carried me to the sliding door, made his way down the hallway, and to his room. Our room now, I supposed.

Fade tossed me onto the bed, a grin spreading across his face as I landed with a soft bounce.

"That was fun," I sighed, stretching my arms over my head. "I like all the girls."

"It was fun because none of us were worrying about the damn cameras." Fade shut the door and pulled his shirt over his head, tossing it onto the floor. I couldn't help but admire the view, his chiseled chest, and muscular arms.

"Get undressed, cupcake," he ordered.

I didn't need to be told twice. I began to take off my clothes, lying back on the bed as I did so. I started with my shirt, pulling it over my head and tossing it aside. Next, I unhooked my bra, letting it fall to the floor. My fingers moved to the waistband of my jeans, slipping them down my legs along with my panties.

"I missed you," Fade confessed, his voice husky as he watched me.

I couldn't help but giggle. "I don't think there was a time you couldn't see me, Fade."

"I wasn't touching you," he growled.

"Then maybe you should come here and let me make it up to you," I purred.

Fade didn't need any more encouragement. He quickly unbuttoned his pants, sliding them off along with his boxers. He climbed onto the bed, his body hovering over mine. He leaned down, capturing my lips in a deep, passionate kiss.

His hands roamed over my body, sending shivers down my spine. His mouth moved to my neck, kissing and nibbling his way down to my breasts. He took one nipple into his mouth, swirling his tongue around it before moving to the other.

I moaned softly, arching my back as his mouth continued its journey down my body. He kissed a trail down my stomach, stopping just above my hips. He spread my legs, his hands gently parting my thighs.

His mouth followed until he reached my pussy. His tongue flicked against my clit, and I gasped, gripping the sheets tightly.

"Oh, Fade," I moaned, my hips arching toward him.

He responded with a low growl, his tongue delving deeper, licking and sucking, driving me wild with pleasure. I writhed beneath him, lost in the sensations he was creating. His hands held my thighs apart, giving him full access to me.

Just when I thought I couldn't take any more, Fade's tongue moved lower, teasing the sensitive area around of my ass. The new sensation made me moan louder, my body trembling with desire. He licked and teased, his tongue flicking in a way that sent electric shocks through me.

"Fade," I gasped, my fingers tangling in his hair. "Oh God, that feels incredible."

He continued, alternating between licking my pussy and teasing my tight butthole. The combination of sensations drove me to the brink of ecstasy. My body tightened, a wave of pleasure building inside me until I could no longer hold back.

"Fade, I'm going to come," I moaned, my voice shaky with anticipation.

"Come for me, cupcake," he murmured, his breath hot against my skin.

And I did, my body shuddering with the force of my orgasm, lost in the overwhelming pleasure Fade had given me.

Fade didn't stop there. He positioned himself between my legs, entering me with a hard, fast thrust. I cried out in pleasure, my nails digging into his back as he pounded into me.

"God, Fade," I moaned, my body trembling with each thrust.

He growled in response, his movements becoming more urgent. He drove into me harder and faster, our bodies moving in perfect sync. The intensity of our lovemaking built and built until I was on the edge of ecstasy again.

"Come," Fade whispered, his voice rough with desire.

His words pushed me over the edge, and I came hard, my body shaking with pleasure. Fade followed soon after, his own release mixing with mine.

We lay there, panting and spent, our bodies still entangled. Fade pulled me close, pressing a kiss to my forehead.

"Fucking perfect," Fade whispered, his breath warm against my skin.

"How does that get better every time?" I asked, still catching my breath.

"No clue, cupcake, but I don't want it to change."

We snuggled into each other, his arms wrapping around me protectively. I felt safe and content. My head rested on his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart.

"You know what else the girls and I talked about tonight?" I asked softly, tracing circles on his chest with my fingertip.

"What?" he murmured, his fingers gently running through my hair.

"How fast your world is. How one second life is normal, and the next you're just immersed in this MC world, and you never want to surface." I paused, gathering my thoughts. "I've been trying to understand how you and I happened. It really was in the blink of an eye."

Fade chuckled softly. "One second, I was the annoying biker keeping you from doing your job, and the next, I was the biker in your bed giving you amazing orgasms."

I laughed. "Don't get me wrong, the biker in my bed is way better than the annoying biker. It's just crazy how quickly it happened."

"Yeah, it is," Fade agreed, his voice thoughtful. "But sometimes, things just click, you know? Like fate or some shit."

I nodded, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. "It's like we were meant to be, even if it doesn't make sense."

Fade's arms tightened around me, pulling me closer. "It makes sense to me, cupcake."

My heart swelled at his words.

I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me. "I'm just glad you stuck around, even when I was being difficult."

"You were never difficult," Fade said, his tone earnest. "You were just doing your job. Which was… annoying."

"Not charming, Fade," I laughed.

Fade's lips met mine in a tender kiss. "I'll be your prince, cupcake, but it won't be Prince Charming," he laughed.

"I'll take it," I whispered.
